MUSICALS - WIZARD OF OZ, THE(1939)
Unless you've lived under a rock since you were born, you all
know this classic of classics! The innovativeness of this film,
for the time it was made, was astounding!! It still jolts the
senses when it goes from drab black and white(really, more
like tan and off-white) to color!!! A great film with a great cast
and memorable music!! A

I remember seeing The Wizard of Oz as a child and still to
this day I enjoy it. During a tornado Dorothy and Toto find
themselves far from home in a magical land called munchkin
land. Here, they are greeted by munchkins, witches, talking
animals and other magical creatures. Dorothy meets a few
characters that end up helping her find her way home, while
she helps them as well.
This magical film is sure to put a smile on ones face. I was
impressed by the editing used in the film, the lighting that
set the mood, and the amazing technicolor. Definitely a
recommended movie. All ages will enjoy it. - jrich-37411
