I only have the first three of these, there is
a fourth, but not sure if I'm going to try to
get it or not! Only time will tell!!
The basic story here is that there are seven
schools in Kanto which are at "war" with
one another and they are all trying to take
over the entire area by fighting each other!
Not really a great story line!!!!
While there is a lot of panty shots here, there
is not much actual nudity!! It does seem that
this is the whole reason for this show!!!
The ending theme "Let Me Be With You" is really
good!! Unfortunately they change this with
episode 8!!!!

IKKI TOUSEN V. 1:
EPISODE 1: :
This one begins with the introduction of the
main characters, Koukin, Hakufu, Gakushu,
Shimei, Genpou and Hakufu's mom, Goei!!
They are part of Nanyo Academy, one of the
seven schools fighting for power!
This one shows the first meeting between
Hakufu and Gakushu, who immediately get
into a fight!! Very deep meanings here!! B+
EPISODE 2:
This one has an order to get rid of Hakufu
while distracting Koukin!! B+
EPISODE 3:
Ok, it seems that all of these students are
reincarnations of ancient Japanese warriors,
and that is the reason they must fight!!!
In this episode, Hakufu is kidnapped by a
couple of dudes, and her virtue is in doubt!! B+
EPISODE 4:
Mom is acting a little pervy, and Hakufu calls
her on it, and promptly gets a bare butt spanking!!
Meanwhile, a new enemy shows up to take on
Hakufu! and lures her out by holding Koukin!! B+
IKKI TOUSEN V. 2:
EPISODE 5: :
There is a tournament coming up in this one
and of course Hakufu is planning to be part of
it, as well as Koukin!! There is a quick
shot of Hakufu's boobs while she's in the
river! Just a FYI! B+
EPISODE 6:
The tournament begins, and of course
there is plenty of fighting and panties!!! B+
EPISODE 7:
The tournament continues, and the panties!!! B+
IKKI TOUSEN V. 3:
EPISODE 8:
The battles continue, with Hakufu and Koukin
ending up loosing a match!!
The old Aunt is apparently trying to set
up Hakufu and Koukin, going so far as
to invite Koukin to join Hakufu in bed!! B+
EPISODE 9:
A trip to the hot springs with Hakufu, Koukin
and Goie!!! This is pretty fluffy!! And the
first with considerable nudity!!! B+
EPISODE 10:
A poolside visit in this one! Wonder why!! lol B+

Ikki Tousen: 8 out of 10: The term fan service
is thrown around a lot when people discuss Anime.
Ikki Tousen is the greatest (or worst) example of
blatant fan service I have seen outside of a
pornographic Hentai.
One could easily watch the first few episodes
and could think that blatant and somewhat
creepy fan service is all Ikki Tousen offers,
but something funny happened I got drawn
into the story.
In an alternate universe High Schools exist
for fighting tournaments. The students wear
teardrops shaped earrings that contain the
essence of warriors from the Three Kingdoms
period in China (also known as called the Six
Dynasties) that followed the loss of de facto
power by the Han Dynasty emperors. Each
character in Ikki Tousen is predestined to
the fate of their respective warrior.
So a history lesson is mixed in between the
shots of leave nothing to the imagination
white panties. Does that really excuse a
grown man watching topless high school
girls beat each other up?... Probably not no.
The animation is rudimentary and the
episodes can be a touch repetitive. There
is also that guy blushing sex humor I despise.
Nevertheless, as soon as I start to fail to
warm to the episodes something dramatic
happens too break the pattern (The lesbian
rape in Episode 6 Roku is a particular game
changer.) So if you enjoy a good Anime
and do not currently appear on any sex
offender lists I can highly recommend Ikki
Tousen. Give it a few episodes you may< be
drawn into the history and characterization.
Alternatively, you might just be a sick in the
head... different strokes and all
