There are 4 episodes on discs 1-4, and 3 on 5-7!
The review for this will be at the end of all the
episodes, as I can't find any for the separate
ones! Also at the end are the credits!
FINAL FANTASY UNLIMITED PHASE 1(2001)
EPISODE 1: WONDERLAND:
JOURNEY INTO THE DARKNESS
two dragons that look a lot like Shiva and
Ifrit!! A great beginning!!
Two kids are on a hunt for their parents
in Wonderland! They hop a train(which is
very reminiscent of Doomtrain from Final
Fantasy VIII!) and head out to start off this
adventure!! This train is used by the trio
to get from one land to another in Wonderland
also!!
Also, this introduces a character who looks
tremendously like Vincent(FF VII!) He uses
a gun that uses special pellets that create
different types of summons!! The first one
we see is Phoenix! A pretty awesome attack! A
EPISODE 2: MAGUN: MAN OF THE BLACK WIND:
Herba, & Chocobaba! The first four are all
bent on getting rid of the intruders to Wonderland!
This also features another summons from Kaze,
Typhon! Another great attack!! A

keeps on coming!! A
EPISODE 7: SUBWAY: ENEMY OF THE DIMENSIONAL TUNNEL:
We are introduced to Lou Lupus, a young

actually the best episode up to this point!! A+

Another new character alert, Sagi, whom we
don't know right away whether he's good or
bad! And the baddie for this episode? Herba!!
And no episode is complete with out Kaze
casting a new summons! This time, it's
Atomos! A
EPISODE 11: CIEL: THE DEPARTURE OF CHOCOBO:
like Chocobaba!)!!! The group runs into a herd
of Chocobos, and Chobi decides to go off with
them, leaving the trio without a guide!
There's a new attack from an old enemy! Omega
is on the warpath again, and the trio are right
in its path! Chobi has now become Ciel of ancient
lore, and of course we can't forget Kaze, who
appears just in time for another summons! This
time it's Titan! A
EPISODE 12: FUNGUS: ETERNAL LIFE:
is Fungus!! He is immediately taken on by Kaze
who uses an old summons, Ixion, on him! And
for good measure, he also breaks out Phoenix
again!! B
FINAL FANTASY UNLIMITED PHASE 4(2002/2003)
EPISODE 13: METEOR: ABOMINABLE MEMORY:
with Makenshi and others joining the fray! Kaze's
new summons, Meteor Mastor!! Awesome!! A
EPISODE 14: OMEGA: REUNION AND DEPARTURE:
is about Omega, and getting prepared to battle
against it! It brings back the underground group
whom the travelers join up with!! Another tie in
with the games, the travelers are always changing
in how they travel, from walking, to riding chocobos
and this one introduces a submarine!!
This one also features a change of the ending theme
song! A

Another new character, Madoushi, who has been
awaken by one of the henchmen! Kaze uses one of
his summons again, the first in a few episodes! This
one being Shiva!! Madoushi takes on Makenzi in
quite a battle, one of the best so far! Great anime
work here!! A
EPISODE 19: AI: MEETING WITH CLEAR
the water!! Even though she's REALLY irritating,
ya gotta hope that she gets rescued! She meets up
with Clear, who apparently is part of Omega, who, of
course, is hell bent on destroying everything!! A
FINAL FANTASY UNLIMITED PHASE 6(2003)
EPISODE 20: YU: THE SECRET OF GAUDIUM:

to find their parents!!
Soon though even the kids and Kaze are affected!

against Pist!! A-
EPISODE 24: CHAOS: THE EARL UNVEILED:
to have turned Makenchi! With all seeming to be
lost, Kaze wakes up just in time to see the Earl
unleash his true powers on the group!! A
EPISODE 25: KAZE: THE GLORY OF LIFE:
final battle between the Earl and just about everyone
else, including Kaze, Makenzi, Cid and Lisa, along with
a couple of unexpected helpers!!!
And one last summons from Kaze, which is unnamed!!
The only bad thing about this series is that it was
never finished and ended on a kind of cliffhanger! A
A review from IMDb.com:
Final Fantasy Unlimited, the previous comment was
made after watching only one episode, and he said
it was a terrible anime, personally i don't comment
on IMDb, but after hearing him rip into this i had to
act. Around a year ago i first watched "FFU", i was
blown away by it from the start. It has everything
you would look for and love from the final fantasy
series, and adds its own unique and great touches
along with a strong story. True the ending leaves
many unanswered questions but it leaves space for
a hopeful sequel. The story mainly focuses around
Ai and Yu a pair of twins searching for their parents
in an alternate universe known as wonderland. On
their journey alongside a young woman Lisa, they
repeatedly cross paths with a man without a name
who is searching for someone, one of the twins
affectionately refers to him as Kaze who wields
a powerful magic gun known as "MAGUN". While
they are constantly attacked by a group of people
for reasons unknown to them. I cannot highly
recommend this anime enough. If you consider
yourself a fan of the final fantasy games or are
a anime fan looking for something unusual this
is the anime for you ********(8) out of 10 - Ryan_E
