INSPECTOR GADGET SEASON 2

I think I see why this only lasted a part of a season
here! They added a new character, Corporal Capeman, who
believe it or not, dumbed down the series horribly!!
And it didn't help having new voice actors for just
about everyone except Gadget!!!

EPISODE 1: MAGIC GADGET(Sept. 12, 1983):

Welp, it looks like the whole gang is back for this
second, and final, season!! Only difference is that
there are new voice actors here! A magician stops by
Gadget as he's doing yardwork and invites him to be
his guest at the great show! Of course, Dr. Claw is
behind the whole thing, along with the Wambinis! B

EPISODE 2: THE GREAT WAMBINI'S SEANCE(Sept. 13, 1983):

Pets of the rich and famous are being pet-napped by
Dr. Claw!! And for a whole lot of money, the Wambini's
will bring them back to their owners! B

EPISODE 3: WAMBINI PREDICTS(Sept. 14, 1983):

There's a camel in Alpacastan(you can't make this shit
up!) that spits diamonds!! And of course Dr. Claw wants
said camel!! B

EPISODE 4: THE CAPEMAN COMETH(Sept. 15, 1983):

Dr. Claw has a plan to steal all the gold in Metro
City. Meanwhile, there's a "superhero" who's determined
to "help" Gadget! B-

EPISODE 5: CRASH COURSE IN CRIME(Sept. 16, 1983):

Another episode with Capeman, these are really pretty dumb!!
It's M.A.D.'s 8th anniversary, and to celebrate, Dr. Claw
has 8 super-crimes planned, and Gadget with the stupid Capeman
are to twart them! B-

EPISODE 6: GADGET'S GADGETS(Sept. 19, 1983):

Still with the Capeman, Dr. Claw has a plan to get
rid of Gadget's gadgets, the Gadget! B

EPISODE 7: GADGET IN MINI-MADNESS(Sept. 20, 1983):

In this one we have Claw getting help from a Dr. Dummkopf
who has a new way of getting to Gadget, Linguinies! The
good news, the stupid Capeman is gone!! B

EPISODE 8: THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING GADGET(Sept. 21, 1983):

The good Dr. Dummkopf has developed a shrinking ray that
Claw wants used on Gadget! This is planned to be used at
a invention convention! Sadly, they've brought back the stupid
Capeman! B-

EPISODE 9: GADGET MEETS THE GRAPPLER(Sept. 22, 1983):

Gadget and Capeman are headed to the Oriental Express
Mystery Tour Train for a vacation! And of course so is
M.A.D., Dr. Claw, Dr. Dummkopf and the Grappler!
Good thing Penny and Brain tagged along! B

EPISODE 10: BAD DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS(Sept. 23, 1983):

There's something giving Gadget, Penny and Brain bad
dreams! I wonder who's behind it! Yay!! No Capeman! B

EPISODE 11: GHOST CATCHERS(Sept. 26, 1983):

Shock, MAD is behind ghosts appearing in the homes of
the local socialites! Gadget's job, get rid of them! B

EPISODE 12: BUSY SIGNAL(Sept. 27, 1983):

Mansions in Metro are being burglarized by unknown methods
and it's up Gadget(Penny) to find out how! B

EPISODE 13: FOCUS ON GADGET(Sept. 28, 1983):

The plan this time for Claw is to dry up all the oceans
with a giant magnifying glass in space!! This takes our
group to outer space and the space station! Stupid Capeman
is back! B-

EPISODE 14: M.A.D. IN THE MOON(Sept. 29, 1983):

M.A.D. has plans to change the face of the moon to look
like Claw!!! Stupid is back again! B-

EPISODE 15: N.S.F. GADGET(Sept. 30, 1983):

Claw has figured out how to access all the bank
accounts, and Gadget must stop him! He has a vested
interest here, as he's lost all his money! B

EPISODE 16: TYRANNOSAURUS GADGET(Oct. 3, 1983):

The plan for M.A.D.: go back to the past to eliminate
Gadget's ancestors, as well as bring dinosaurs back to
the present to destroy Metro City! B

EPISODE 17: GADGET'S ROMA(Oct. 4, 1983):

Another time traveling episode, this time back to
ancient Rome to protect his ancestors and the secrat
of "Roma"! B

EPISODE 18: GADGET'S CLEAN SWEEP(Oct. 5, 1983):

We're going back to 19th century London to, again,
eliminate Gadget's ancestors! And to steal the crown
jewels! B

EPISODE 19: GADGET MEETS THE CLAN(Oct. 6, 1983):

Claw has reached the end of his rope and gone to
his old teacher to hire the best in the business
to eliminate Gadget! All this while in Italy! B

EPISODE 20: GADGET AND OLD LACE(Oct. 7, 1983):

Claw's back to his old teacher, where he's trying to
hire the best to get rid of Gadget!! So this time he
hires Sadie and Viola, sisters who are just trying to
keep people from being lonely! This is, of course, a
direct rip-off of Arsonic And Old Lace! Interesting
here, most of this episode has absolutely nothing to
do with the case that Gadget was given! This may be the
best of the whole series!! B+

EPISODE 21: GADGET AND THE RED ROSE(Oct. 10, 1983):

Sadly, for the last episode of the series, they brought
back stupid! Claw goes back to his teacher, and asks for
Spuds Mallone to use his invention, the Red Rose, to get
rid of Gadget! And they never do catch Dr. Claw! B-

This was a hilarious cartoon and remains a classic series like
Transformers. Perhaps the brilliance of the show is how
Inspector Gadget's niece does most of the work and Gadget
himself just stumbles onto it. Don Adams was a great choice
to voice the title character. Anyone whose seen Get Smart
