BATMAN - THE ADVENTURES OF TV SERIES(1968):
The complete 1968 animated series starring the
talents of Olan Souel, Casey Kasem and Ted Knight!
None of the actors from the TV series were called
upon here to help out!! These are all quite short!
As for the actors, Casey Kasem does a wonderful
job on Robin/Dick Grayson! Olan, well, does pretty
good, but seems a little wimpy to me!! And then
there's the narrator, Ted Knight, who doubles as
Commissioner Gordon, who is a lot of fun!!
One more note, it appears that there were two
episodes shown per Saturday morning showing!
DISC 1:
EPISODE 1: HOW MANY HERRING IN A WHEELBARROW?:
The Joker is at the chemical lab to steal some plans,
and Batman and Robin are called in to find out what
his plan is! The voice for The Joker is a joke!! Whoever
it is sounds like he's got marbles in his mouth!!
Other than that, this is actually pretty good! B+

EPISODE 20: THE GREAT SCARECROW SCARE:
There's a valuable painting being auctioned off at
the Gotham Halloween party, and the Scarecrow
plans on stealing it, among other things! The only
thing I don't like about these shows is that they make
both Batgirl and Robin look like doofuses!!! A
EPISODE 21: MY CRIME IS YOUR CRIME:
The Penguin is fooling around with sports, and It
captures the intrigue of Batman and Robin! Then

From an IMDb.com customer
This is one of my all time favorite cartoon shows.
The two elements that made up the show had plenty
of action and just enough violence to keep you
interested. And even though it was violent, I still
turned out to be a normal adult and not a psychotic
killer. Too bad that parents groups thought that it
was too violent, or my generation would have been
spared such shows as Shazam, Isis and Super
Friends. - Brian Washington (Sargebri@att.net
