CRISIS(1950)

First things first, THERE ARE NO CLOSED CAPTIONS ON THIS!
Unforgivable!!!

Cary plays a doctor who is "requested" to opperate on the tyrant
dictator of a South American couontry! He has a brain tumor and
will die without the proceedure! This puts Cary in a precarious
position as the folks around the palace do not want to see him
survive! I found this kind of blah, honestly, and not one of
Cary's best! B

From IMDb.com:

"Crisis" is a study in how a strong supporting cast can make
a movie complete. While Grant and Ferrer give powerful
performances, they are enhanced by even better performances
Signe Hasso and Ramon Navarro. The latter two, with subtle,
understated characterizations, round out a thoughtful script
and cast. The story is compelling -- medical/ethical conflict,
interwoven with a political drama which doesn't attempt to sway.
It does provide a backdrop which doesn't interfere but
enhances. - JulieKelleher57
