THE MAGIC SWORD(1961):
Not bad really! It is not of course Lord Of The Rings, nor is it First
Knight, but all in all worth a watch! Some humor and slight action!

Ah yes, i first saw the magic sword when i was a kid, and even
then it struck me as quite a adventure of the sword/fantasy kind.
With knights, dragons, witches and so much more, this movie became
a jewel. Now that its available on video, its still produces tingling
effects as after all these years its still quite entertaining and still
produces that smile at the end.

A little more boring than the first movie, without much humor and pretty
bland acting!! Worth maybe a watch if nothing else is available! C

wanted to make an adult version of Mallory's Le Morte de Arthur, the
most well-known King Arthur myth. He also pioneered some truly graphic
special effects in wonderful battle scenes, using live actors. No CGI here,
just great story-telling, wit, and a reverence for the old theme and a
