ETERNALLY YOURS(1939)
This is not a straight out comedy, more of a dromedy,
leaning more to drama! But it's a pretty good show but
not one I would watch over and over. It revolves around
a magician who marries a woman who came to see one of
his shows. Things go fairly swimmnigly at first, but
after a while the wife begins to feel that he's more
into his magic than her, and divorces him! The rest
of the story is about him trying to win her back! C
From a reviewer at IMDb.com:
I enjoyed this picture a lot. It has the warmth of
the classics, yet the characterization and the whole
plot fits to today's world. The incredible chemistry
between the two leads is (I found) very rare among
movies from that age. - javalorum
