HARRISON FORD 4 FILM FAVORITES SET
FOUR MOVIES STARRING HARRISON FORD:
THE MOSQUITO COAST(1986):
Ford plays quite the psycho here, dragging his family from
America to the jungles of South America saying that the
US has gone to pot and there will be a neuclear war there
soon!! His plan is to build a civilization not dependent
on the ways of the civilized world!! D
From IMDb.com:
Fascinating film of crank who drags his family to Central
America. Ford was brave to take on such an unsympathetic
role, and is excellent. I've known people like him, and
Ford must have as well, since it's a dead-on portrayal
of a very specific type of jerk. - cherold

At two hours, probably a little long! This is not a really tough
movie to figure out, however it's fun to watch the cat and mouse
actions going on between all the particulars! Many suspects that
are easy to hate! Of interest here to me is that two of the main
actors in the TV show The West Wing: John Spencer(Leo McGarry)
& Bradley Whitford(Josh Lyman) are here! B+
From IMDb.com:
This is an OK movie, but it never captured my attention as it should
have. Part of it is the obsessive nature of its main character,
played by Harrison Ford. He can't separate himself from a memory
and a relationship that may or may not have been there. A dead
woman really calls the shots here as does some sloppy police work.
He finds himself with a murder charge directed at him and little
support from his bosses. There are some end of the story shenanigans
which you can see for yourself. But, ultimately, I never quite
got involved in the depth of Harrison Ford's despair. He generally
can pull me in with that pained expression. It just didn't
happen. - Hitchcoc

Pretty good re-telling of the famous 60s TV series starring David
Janssen as Richard Kimball! Considering they're re-telling a three
season series in a 2 hour movie there's a lot that's left out from
the series, but this is well done with Harrison Ford playing the
lead and Tommy Lee Jones the part of the Marshall, Gerrald, who's
totally obessed with finding Kimble, no matter what!!!
This also has the great Andreas Katsulas(Babylon 5) in it!! A
From IMDb.com:
Dr. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) is called in for an emergency
surgery. When he returns home, he finds an one arm guy murdering
his wife (Sela Ward). The cops don't believe him, and he is wrongly
convicted. Kimble's prison transport crashes when the prisoners
try to take over and is run over by a train. Kimble escapes and
Deputy US Marshal Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) takes charge
of catching Kimble. Meanwhile Kimble goes in search for his
wife's killer.
There are just so many classic moments from this movie. Not to
mention that these two lead actors are perfectly cast as their
characters. Those great lines just sings out of Tommy Lee Jones'
mouth. The investigation is also compelling. The whole movie
is just as entertaining as heck. - SnoopyStyle

A computer software expert(Ford) is coerced by his family's
being held hostage to steal 100 million dollars from the bank
he works for! Pretty tense, but I honestly don't care for these
kind of movies that put children in danger! B-
From IMDb.com:
This film is about a internet security expert getting
caught up in a theft of $100 million by the use of internet
transfer.
This film is not as bad as many people say it is. Yes,
the plot is sometimes illogical, especially about the
dog having a GPS collar (how convenient!). But I think
it is not a fatal error. There is enough suspense throughout
the movie, and I particularly liked the scene where they
tried to escape from the house. Harrison Ford looks confused
and tense in most of the movie, which suits the tone of
the movie too. The ending looks a bit too forced and
artificial, but it is OK for some light hearted
entertainment. - Gordon-11
