THE TWO FACES OF DR. JEKYLL, THE(1960):
it IS here! The twist here is that Hyde is determined to destroy
Jekyll so he can take over the body! C+
From a reviewer from IMDb.com:
I remember seeing this in the movies on on early
TV, and it has stuck with me all these years later.
Probably as good a version of the RLS story as any
except for the 1931 Frederic March version. Hammer
really outdid itself, in one of its earliest horror outings.
See it if you can. It puts many more recent, larger
budgeted versions to shame. - ctomvelu

Overall, this is actually quite boring, as there isn't much in
the way of action or suspense!!
This has a VERY short nude shot in it, but you'd probably
not catch it at all as it is quite quick!! B-
From a reviewer from IMDb.com:
Val Guest directed this psychological suspense
yarn about a race car driver(played by Ronald Lewis)
who is having huge stress issues after nearly cracking
up in a car race. He takes his wife(played by Diane
Cilento) on a trip to the South of France for a vacation,
but is still plagued by stress and other psychological
issues, so agrees to see a psychiatrist(played by Claude
Dauphin) but complications ensue, as things(of course)
are not all that they seem. Misfired attempt at suspense
has a good cast but is fatally overlong and far too talky,
with nothing in the story justifying this over-length, as
film becomes quite tedious. - AaronCapenBanner

From a reviewer from IMDb.com:
Wonderful cast, atmosphere and story. Suspenseful,
chilling and thrilling. This one has a air of sadness,
mystery and horror that you do not see most modern
horror-thrillers. This one is great for a late night thriller.
I don't know how I missed this film earlier in my life
but I'm glad to see it now. It's definitely worth watching.
She is bound to a wheelchair and returns home to see
her father after 10 years of not being able to see him.
She sees his dead body and his ghost(?) - that leads
others to believe she might have other problems outside
of her physical state. But there is more going on that
will leave the viewer guessing.

A woman tells a painter she is pregnant with his baby!!
From a reviewer from IMDb.com:
One of the mythological gorgons(Megeara) is
haunting a small village, and everyone in the village
literally turns their faces away from the sporadic
murders that occur when the moon is full. All this
is discovered when a father of a dead man tries to
protect his son's reputation, and is greeted with
silence and hatred from the villagers. In his quest
to find the truth...he does...the stone-cold truth.
This is a fine Hammer film, not overly scary, but
incredibly atmospheric with its swirling mists, huge
cavernous palatial sets, and wonderful direction
and casting. Terence Fisher does a first-rate job
showing us the conspiracy going on in this village.
Peter Cushing is the town's primary culprit of
hiding the truth and gives his customary good
performance. The film, however, belongs to Lee,
who play an eccentric, gruff scholar helping the
other son of the newly killed father. Lee is absurd
yet brilliant in his caricature. A fine addition to the
Hammer cycle. - BaronBl00d

From a reviewer from IMDb.com:
After Hammer's first successful stab at a mummy
film (THE MUMMY - 1959) it's pretty rough going
with their bandaged follow-ups. This one was not
quite as unwatchable as I feared, but was still a
limp and rather average affair that I don't see myself
revisiting any time soon, if ever. A typical group of
treasure seekers uncovers another Egyptian carcass
which ultimately gets put on public display by a sleazy
American showman, but mysteriously disappears
and starts killing people. There's a lot of dull filler
through most of this, but by the time the mummy
starts stomping there was more action than I was
lead to believe from others' reviews. This mummy's
makeup isn't too bad, and he's more inventive than
most with some of his killing techniques.
