INGLOURIOUS BASTARDS, THE(2009)
The only drawback to this movie is the fact that you have
to read half of it because their speaking in German and
French, or not catch any of what's said because they don't
translate it at all!!!!
An incredibly bloody and violent! All about some bad ass
dudes and dudettes determined to kill every Nazi that lives!
But wait, there's more! Not only are the bad asses out for
fun and games, but there are others who want to put their
names on the bloodiest hits list! A French gal who escapes
the bloodbath of her family owns a movie theatre and catches
the eye of a German soldier who also happens to be the star
of a movie about his exploits! He convinces the powers that
be to have the premier of his film in her theatre! The whole
thing culminates at said theatre!! Quite enjoyable!!! Because
of having to read half the movie I give this an A-

This film is about two groups of people trying to sabotage
a German Nazi film premiere in Paris.
"Inglourious Basterds" as an interesting story, but it does
not engage me as much as I hoped. The plot is quite thin,
there is not much happening in two and a half hours. A lot
of time is spent to make a shot atmospheric. As a result,
the pacing is very slow, I keep having to wait a long time
for something to happen. For example, the initial scene in
a farmhouse lasted over 20 minutes, when in fact it could
have been over and done with in five minutes. "Inglourious
Basterds" needs very generous editing to shorten the film,
in order to enhance its thrill and suspense. The only reason
I think that "Inglourious Basterds" managed to be engaging
in its current form is because people wanted the good guys
to win, and hence stick to their seats to hope their desired
