JULIE & JULIA(2009)
To me, a very boring movie about a woman who is trying
to go through Julia Child's Joy Of Cooking cookbook,
cooking every one in a year! And on the side, the story
of Julia herself! It is well done, but, like I said,
boring to me!! C+

This film is about a New York woman who decides to find
direction in her life by cooking through all the recipes
in Julia Child's French cuisine cookbook.
Though "Julie & Julia" is technically not a film about
food or cooking, I somehow still expected to find a
lot of culinary delights. I was a little disappointed
in this aspect,as the film's focus is not on the food,
but on Julie's journey to finding herself through food.
Still, the production values are delightful, and both
the leading actresses performed very well in their
roles. Though I enjoyed watching it, I will probably
forget the details of the plot in a few months
