KING ARTHUR DIRECTOR'S CUT(2004)

Wow, what the Hell is this even about?! A very disjointed
"story" with mostly actors(?) that I've never heard of!!
A real struggle to get through!! C

From IMDb.com:

There were so many versions of King Arthur and his
knights adventures !Richard Thorpe,John Boorman,Robert
Bresson,Walt Disney to name but a few.Boorman's attempt
is for me the most successful, but Ava Gardner will remain
my Guinevere! This movie is itself undistinguished, with
a strong tendency to increase the violence quota....the
knights of the round table meet Tarantino...The scenes
on a frozen lake make inevitably the viewer think of
Eisenstein's "Alexandre Nevski".Although the movie
seems to feature an "intellectual " side (roughly
Christians versus Pagans),the battles get the lion's
share (at least 75% of the film)That makes the
screenplay repetitive and dull.Stay with
Boorman. - dbdumonteil
