The first three Riddicks starring Vin Diesel!! There is
a fourth Riddick(tittled simply Riddick) but we don't
own it!
CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK: PITCH BLACK(2000):
A cross between sci-fi and horror, with Vin Diesel as the
kinda hero! A ferry ship that's transporting people from
one planet to another crashes on a planet that appears
to be barren of all life, til people start dying! Pretty good
little flick, with very good special effects! B+
A review from IMDb.com:
From the first 10 seconds of Pitch Black I was hooked.
I had walked into this movie thinking that it would be
just another cheesy sci-fi movie. Instead I found a highly
entertaining, on the edge of your seat, thought provoking
action film. The movie goes beyond your basic special
effects flick. The actors are amazing, Radah Mitchell
(High Art, Love and other..) as Fry is truly a joy to watch
on screen, while Vin Diesel as Riddeck is so captivating
that you are dying just to hear him speak again.
The look of the movie is breath taking, the contrast of
blues, yellows and oranges due to the three different
suns is amazing. Followed by the complete darkness of
nightfall. I would truly recommend any lover of the
ALIEN movies or Radha Mitchell (which is why I went
to see it) to check out this film. I'm sure by the end
you'll look at the dark in a whole new way. - HAZEL-5

This is a fun movie, but unfortunately for me it
seems to end rather abruptly!! Good action, good
special effects, good story, just not a great ending!
It seems that they were expecting to do another
Riddick after this, but never did! Oh, well!! B
A review from IMDb.com:
It was very refreshing to watch a science fiction
movie with a great story and fantastic acting. I
enjoyed Vin Diesel's performance as Riddick. He
made the movie with his one-liners. Casting was
very good. Special effects were incredible. I would
give it 9 out of 10 stars. I hope there is a sequel
to follow this movie. There appeared to be a time
span between Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick
but they bridged the gap quite well. A prequel to
Pitch Black would help to establish who Riddick
is and where he came from. This movie definitely
took me to a place few science fiction movies do
now days. I predict that Riddick will be entertaining
us with more movies in the future. - bozo1

A bridge between the first Riddick(Pitch Black)
and the second(Chronicles Of Riddick)! The
animation is pretty decent, the story is good,
and it does what it was suppose to do, join
the first and second movies! Not great, but
worth a watch, especially since it's only 30
minutes or so long! B
A review from IMDb.com:
I just saw Dark Fury on a rented DVD and had
very satisfying experience. Dark Fury is well
drawn, fast paced and with a little CGI to spice
it up.The animated short story takes place where
we last left Riddick, the preacher and the wannabe
tough girl in Pitch Black. They are picked up by a
fairly big spaceship of hightech bounty hunters.
From here on Riddick starts to kick ass and
continues to do so for about 30 min. Vin Diesel's
voice is one of the coolest in Hollywood only
topped(maybe) by Sean Connery. The only
problem in this animated adventure is that
it is to damn short(33 min). It's a colorful and
interesting universe with a great villain and
some fantastic and imaginative actionscenes.
In short terms Riddick kicks butt yet again. I
went straight in on my Pc, went online and
bought this little baby. Hail to the king baby.
I give it a 7,5 out of 10. - taomonster
