Pretty typical slasher movie with a few good actors in it:
Drew Barrymore, Courtny Cox & Henry Winkler!! C+

By now, you've probably heard what "Scream" is about (or seen
it). So, I'll just discuss a few aspects of it. It was filmed
partly in Santa Rosa, California. Another movie filmed there
was Alfred Hitchcock's "Shadow of a Doubt", and "Peanuts"
creator Charles Schulz lived there. What a trio! Also, who
would have predicted that we'd see Fonzie get butchered?!
Yep, Henry Winkler appears as the principal. But probably
the best scene has the characters discussing the rules for
surviving a slasher movie: 1) you can never have sex; 2)
you can never drink or use drugs (an extension of #1); 3)
the most important is that you can never say "I'll be right
back." Overall, this is one cool movie. Neve Campbell,
Courtney Cox, David Arquette and the rest of the cast

More of the same that was the first Scream movie! One of
the plusses in this movie is that it is a little more
humorous, weasther intentional or not I'm not sure! C+

Two years after the first movie. Gale Weathers (Courteney
Cox) has written a book about the murders and it's been
popularized in the movie Stab. A new Ghostface rises up
to start killing again at a showing of Stab. Cotton Weary
(Liev Schreiber) is out of prison with the help of Gale.
Gale is too happy to soak up all the publicity. Sidney
Prescott (Neve Campbell) and Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy)
are students at Windsor College. Derek (Jerry O'Connell)
is Sidney's new boyfriend. Dewey Riley (David Arquette)
comes out to protect Sidney. There is a whole new cast
of characters ready for the killing and ready to be
suspects.
Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson have return to the
self-referencing franchise. Being a sequel, there
are a lot of referencing to sequels and what that
usually entails. It gives the franchise a new reason
to continue. The returning cast is a capable crew.
I do have a minor problem with the new additions.
They all end up as either cannon fodder or the killers.
It would be much more surprising if one of the new

Pretty much the same as the first two! But this does
have the great Carrie Fisher in it!! C+

Maybe "Scream 3" doesn't have quite the same ring as its
predecessors, but it's still really neat. This one features
Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) living in LA as a crisis
hot-line operator when the murders start all over again.
In the process, Sidney discovers a hidden part of her
family history.
Remember how in the first one, we learn the rules for
slasher movies (never have sex, never drink or do drugs,
never say that you'll be right back)? And how in the
second one, we learn the rules for sequels (higher body
count, death scenes are more elaborate)? Well, now we
have a rule for trilogies: all bets are off. And you'd
better believe that they are here.
David Arquette, Courtney Cox, Liev Schreiber, and Jamie
Kennedy reprise their roles from the previous installments.
The new additions here are Parker Posey as the woman playing
Courtney Cox's character, and Lance Henriksen as a B-movie
