TRANSFORMERS 1 SET
TRANSFORMERS: BEGINNINGS
This is a video comic of where the Transformers
started from, and the reasons they ended up on
Earth! Not bad, a good supplement for the movie
series and definitely worth a watch, just for
familiarization to the franchise! B
From IMDb.com:
It's basically a voiced-over comic book. The film
is just a series of stills showing the events before
the Transformers left their planet, and the human
events since Megatron and the Allspark arrived.
Some cheesy voice on the humans, but with
Megatron / Prime's original voices from the
cartoon. Mostly just uses the movie's soundtrack.
Might be best watched AFTER the movie, since
some of it's content will ruin surprises for you.
I just happened across it out of luck, but you may
need to eBay it now since it was only released
with one of the limited editions of the movie. It
has references to the cartoon, not just the movie,
like Starscream's ambitions for leadership of the
Decepticons.
Overall, fairly nice for collectors but nothing to
worry about if you only really liked the movie.
Good for 20 minutes of fun if you're a Transformers
fan. - official-jab

With Josh Duhamel in this, I really thought this
couldn't miss!! Well, I was right!!! Great action flick,
with pretty good story line, great action sequences,
and pretty decent acting throughout and humor
thrown in just at the right times! Great movie! A
From IMDb.com:
Michael Bay doesn't disappointed us. I've seen
Transformers in a press screening today, and
I'm under the film's impression right now. The
robots are cool as much as they can be. Bay's
vision about the cult-comic and animation of
the eighties has become one of the greatest
effect-movie of all time. However I must
disapprove that the Decepticons lost their
personality, they're just mainly destroying and
killing machines, Megatron and Starscream
are more complex characters like they're
featured in the movie. But I don't want to
tease. Spielberg and Bay has created a
gigantic, spectacular and funny summer
blockbuster movie, that the sequel manufacturer
studios can consider as an example. So,
Transformers is more than meets the eye!
And by the way OPTIMUS RULES!!!! - EchteG
