X-MEN 8:
APOCALYPSE(2016)
Somewhat of a wrap-up to the "First Class" series of
X-Men movies!! Full of action and deception, this is
a pretty fun movie, definitely worth a watch or two!! B

From IMDb.com:
Oh. My. Gosh. This movie is so great. Anyone that says it is
boring has clearly never seen a real x-men movie, and probably
enjoyed the wolverine series. I will keep it short, sweet and to
the point because this film deserves nothing less than a strong
recommendation that you go watch it.
Are there slow parts? Yes. Are they necessary? Yes. Do they flesh
out the story progression and character progression? Yes.
Though there are slow moments, there needs to be and they do
belong in all the places where they occur. The action is bad ass
to say the least and you just know another action sequence is
right around the corner at any moment. Cyclops finally feels
correct as this uncontrollable force who's power threatens to
literally ruin his life. All the characters are very well acted and
we finally get to see the true power of Xavier and Magneto.
Apocalypse is evil and seems overpowered at times. Which
brings us to the man of the hour (or should i say woman).
Jean. Grey.
My God is she amazing, and powerful and sexy. I think i speak
for every man alive when i say "we love you Sophie Turner." No
matter if you are Jean Grey or Sansa Stark or anyone else. They
really showcase her power as phoenix and the most powerful
mutant alive. Also, there is a short sequence near the end
between she and Professor X that will give you chills.
Go see the movie, it is not only my favorite X-men movie (taking
the place of X2) but possibly the best film Iv'e seen this year period.
9 outta 10 just because I'm not sure I'll ever give any film a perfect
score. This was damn close though.
Also, if you loved the quicksilver scene from days of future past
like everyone else did, this will tickle your fancy on more than
one occasion. - owendsmith
