3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN SEASON 1
Never seen an episode of this, so I have no preconceived
ideas on what to expect!
The only star on this that I had heard of before this
series is John Lithgow(Dexter), Jane Curtain(SNL) & Wayne
Knight(Seinfeld), although William Shatner was in 5 episodes!!!
This does have some pretty good guest star in it, including:

This I think has possibilities, hard to know for sure
yet! The four wayword space aliens are here(no explanation
on how or why) and they are trying to find out what makes
the Earthlings tick!! C+
EPISODES 2: POST-NASAL DICK(Jan. 16, 1996):
Dick goes to a wedding with Mary even though he is
sick!! B-
EPISODE 3: DICK'S FIRST BIRTHDAY(Jan. 23, 1996):
This is actually getting better as the episodes progress
This one is about the grooup becoming aware of the aging
process of humans, as well as other aspects of being human! B
EPISODE 4: DICK IS FROM MARS, SALLY IS FROM VENUS(Jan. 30, 1996):
The four are trying to fit into their roles here on Earth!
Sally has a date and things go well, but she's mystified
why he hasn't called!! B
EPISODE 5: DICK, SMOKER(Feb. 06, 1996):
This is about - DUH! A
EPISODE 6: GREEN-EYED DICK(Feb. 13, 1996):
Dick gets jealous about an old flame that Dr. Albright used to
work with!! B
EPISODE 7: LONELY DICK(Feb. 20, 1996):
Dr. Albright goes off for a week and Dick finds out what it
means to miss someone!! B
EPISODE 8: BODY, SOUL AND DICK(Feb. 27, 1996):
The group are around when a writer dies and it sets them
off! Also, Tom is having girl problaems, smart and cute,
or sexy and dumb as a brick?!! B

Dick thinks it's a good idea to observe the relationship
between Mary and her brother to learn how families relate
to each other! B

Harry is trying to find his niche in the human race

EPISODE 15: I ENJOY BEING A DICK(Apr. 21, 1996):
Harry and Sally find a job at a pancake place and
Dick is having problems understanding why Mary and
Nina are "sneaking off" to a woman's meeting! B
EPISODE 16: DICK LIKE ME(Apr. 23, 1996):
Dick decides that the group needs to come up with their
heritage because of his teacher's remarks that Tom doesn't
fit in at school! And Sally is infatuated with Tom's
teacher! B+
EPISODE 17: ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY DICK(Apr. 30, 1996):
The group are victims of crime when the radio in their
car is stolen!! Later Dick gets robbed while he's at an
ATM! Tom goes out for basketball and Sally is infatuated
with the cop who is helping find the culprit! B
EPISODE 18: FATHER KNOWS DICK(May 07, 1996):
This one is kinda hard to put a finger on what it's about!
Harry is lost and Dick tries to help him find himself!
Sally meets Mr. Randall's mother(Naomi Judd)! B
EPISODE 19: SELFISH DICK(May 14, 1996):
Mary gets a new office and it upsets Dick a lot! Sally
winds up in a hospital!! This guest stars Harry Morgan! B
EPISODE 20: SEE DICK RUN(May 21, 1996):
The group gets orders that they are going back home!
This ends on a cliffhanger! B

Four aliens have come to Earth to research humans. Dick
Solomon (John Lithgow) is the commander of the mission
and he gets a job at the little local college. Sally
(Kristen Johnston) is the security officer who is posing
as Dick's sister. Tommy (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is the
intelligence officer who is bitter posing as Dick's horny
teenage son. Harry (French Stewart) is the communication
device who is posing as Dick's clueless brother. Dr.
Mary Albright (Jane Curtin) is both angry and in love
with the strange new professor Solomon. Other notable
recurring stars include Wayne Knight as the hopeless
Officer Don who is in lust for Sally. William Shatner
is leader of the alien race The Big Giant Head. Jan Hooks
is the promiscuous Vicki Dubcek.
The foursome is hilarious. It is the usual fish out of
water storyline. I love almost every episode. The biggest
annoyance comes from a guest starring role with Roseanne
Barr. She started the 3rd season and almost killed the
show for me. Other than that, it had a good 5 seasons
with mostly wild and crazy fun. This is from husband
and wife team Terry and Bonnie Turner who also created
another one of my favorite 'That '70s Show'. The sixth
season has the problem of older grumpy teen JGL. He's
too serious and is missing for much of the season. The
chemistry is off but all shows must end eventually. - SnoopyStyle
