3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN SEASON 2
Never seen an episode of this, so I have no preconceived
ideas on what to expect!
The only star on this that I had heard of before this
series is John Lithgow(Dexter), Jane Curtain(SNL) & Wayne
Knight(Seinfeld), although William Shatner was in 5 episodes!!!
This does have some pretty good guest star in it, including:

EPISODES 1: SEE DICK CONTINUE TO RUN(Sept. 22, 1996):
The new Dick is, well, a dick!! The rest of the crew are missing
the old Dick, and Harry accidently finds him! And Harry gets a
message from the Big Head saying that there was an error at
Hedquarters, and that the replacement is a disgruntled employeed
who's dangerous! Of course the only one to hear the message is,
you guessed it, the bad Dick!B

excited except Dick!! Tom is infatuated with his music

Tommy is singled out as the smartest kid in his school and
his couselor talks Dick into sending him to a school for the
gifted!! B
EPISODE 9: MY MOTHER THE ALIEN(Nov. 17, 1996):
Mrs. Dubcek asks Sally to watch her grandchild which
causes much consternation with the others! And Dick
asks to watch Mary's fish to disaterous results! B

A proud Dick(hence the title) gets indignant when Mary gets
a premo parking spot and he quits! He winds up at fast

Tom wants to play Romeo in a play because August is
playing Juliet and he wants to do all the make-out
sessions with her! So he asks Dick to be the director
thinnking he will cast him in the role! Not so much!! B
EPISODE 15: GUILTY AS DICK(Feb. 02, 1997):
Dick hurts his ankle and milks it for all it's worth!!
Meanwhile Tom signs up to sell 15 cases of candy to
send the band to Washington! B
EPISODE 16: A DICK ON ONE KNEE(Feb. 16, 1997):
Sally meets up with a French dude and things progress
really fast!! Dick gets the idea that he hasn't been
moving fast enough with Mary!! B
EPISODE 17: SAME OLD SONG AND DICK(Mar. 09, 1997):
Dick is feeling that he and Mary are moving slow!! Harry
and Sally swap places and jobs, Harry is now shopping,
cooking and killiong spiders while Sally has no idea what
her job is!! B
EPISODE 18: I BREAK FOR DICK(Mar. 16, 1997):
Dick accidently runs over a squirlle and goes on a anti-
cruelty to animals kick, saying that no onne in the house
can have anything made from animals or animal by-products,
not really understanding what that really entails!! B
EPISODE 19: DICK BEHAVING BADLY(Mar. 23, 1997):
The family convince Dick that he's "whipped" and Hrry
tries to "unwhip" him!! B
EPISODE 20: DICKMALION(Apr. 13, 19967:
Mary's trying to get into a posh club but having trouble!
Dick his it off with the group and tries to help her gain
favor! Meanwhile, there's a group of kids at Tom's school
that are bullies and turns them around and they become
friends, but are they really?? B
EPISODE 21: SENSITIVE DICK(Apr, 27, 1997):
Dick gets accused of being insensitive by his class and
has to go to a hearing about it! Harry goes to a class
reunion with Vicki! B
EPISODE 22: WILL WORK FOR DICK(May 04, 1997):
Dick and Nina have a tiff and she quits him but not Mary!
So Dick hires Harry to be his new assistant! Things go as
expected! Meanwhile, Sally decides she wants to learn
balet!! B
EPISODE 23: FIFTEEN MINUTES OF DICK(May 11, 1997):
The group is at a restaraunt and they move them from their
table to a really crappy one! Turns out they moved them
because they gave their good table to Mark Hammil! B
EPISODE 24: DICK AND THE SINGLE GIRL(May 11, 1997):
There's a new scientist in the neighborhood, and she's
after Dick! Harry and Tom tackle writing an episode of
The X-Files! Sally and Don are having some difficulties! B
EPISODE 25: A NIGHTMARE ON DICK STREET, PART 1(May 18, 1997):
First of two parts: Mary gets accepted to study in Borneo
and Dick is not happy! He decides the only course of action
is to marry her! The ress of the family are not exactly
supportive of this idea!! Dick winds up at a psychiatrist
and he opens up about EVERYTHING!! The psych gives Dick
some pills and Dick take them, a bunch of them!
Dick and Sally start having nightmares!! B
EPISODE 26: A NIGHTMARE ON DICK STREET, PART 2(May 18, 1997):
Continuing on from the previous episode and last episode
of the season! This one starts with Tommmy having his first
nightmare!! And the Big Giant Head has authorized the groups
request to return home for maintenence!! Dick and Sally
snap out of their funk and find out their headed home! B+
The last two episodes where done in 3D!!

Four aliens have come to Earth to research humans. Dick
Solomon (John Lithgow) is the commander of the mission
and he gets a job at the little local college. Sally
(Kristen Johnston) is the security officer who is posing
as Dick's sister. Tommy (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is the
intelligence officer who is bitter posing as Dick's horny
teenage son. Harry (French Stewart) is the communication
device who is posing as Dick's clueless brother. Dr.
Mary Albright (Jane Curtin) is both angry and in love
with the strange new professor Solomon. Other notable
recurring stars include Wayne Knight as the hopeless
Officer Don who is in lust for Sally. William Shatner
is leader of the alien race The Big Giant Head. Jan Hooks
is the promiscuous Vicki Dubcek.
The foursome is hilarious. It is the usual fish out of
water storyline. I love almost every episode. The biggest
annoyance comes from a guest starring role with Roseanne
Barr. She started the 3rd season and almost killed the
show for me. Other than that, it had a good 5 seasons
with mostly wild and crazy fun. This is from husband
and wife team Terry and Bonnie Turner who also created
another one of my favorite 'That '70s Show'. The sixth
season has the problem of older grumpy teen JGL. He's
too serious and is missing for much of the season. The
chemistry is off but all shows must end eventually. - SnoopyStyle
