THE A-TEAM SEASON 1 PAGE

THE A-TEAM SEASON 1

The show that not only ran for five seasons, but
spawned a movie! Starring George Peppard(who
starred in the short lived TV show, Banacek, but
is best known for the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's),
Mr. T(who made his first impression on the public
as Rocky Balboa's opponent in Rocky III), Dwight
Schultz(who later went on to be a semi-regular
on not only Star Trek TNG, but Star Trek Voyager!
And Dwight had voice roles in several Final Fantasy
projects, The Spirit Within and Final Fantasy X,
XII, XIII & XIII 2, the games! Also, I truly believe
that his character, "Howling Mad" Murdock, is the
basis for Robin Williams' comedy!), and Dirk Benedict
(who starred in the original Battlestar Galactica!)

One of the things that this series was noted for
was that there were about 2000 rounds shot per
episode, with not a one casualty!!! A very clean
series!!

EPISODES 1 & 2: MEXICAN SLAYRIDE(PT. 1 & 2):

This was the pilot for this series, split into two
episodes for syndication!

This starts out with the very great William
Windom(Murder, She Wrote) as a newspaper
reporter who gets shanghaied by a local drug
dealer! One of his compatriots goes looking for
help in the form of, you guessed it, The A-Team!!

Instead of Dirk, we have Tim Dunnigan as "Face"!!
He was fired after this pilot, and of course replaced
with the now famous Dirk Benedict!!

A very entertaining beginning to the series!! A

EPISODE 3: THE CHILDREN OF JAMESTOWN:

This one is about a religious zealot who is running
a prison type of compound for his "followers!!!
The A-Team is hired to rescue one of the girls and
end up getting captured themselves!! A

EPISODE 4: PROS AND CONS:

This one is about a friend of BAs that is in
a prison where the prisoners are forced to
to fight to the death!!! A

EPISODE 5: A SMALL AND DEADLY WAR:

A good cop is after a gang of bad ones, and pulls
in the A-Team!! A touchy situation for the team, as
they can't arrest them, can't kill them, and have no
idea what to do-----at first!!! A

EPISODE 6: BLACK DAY AT BAD ROCK:

B.A. is injured and the crew have to take him to a
doctor!! He needs a transfusion and Murdock just
happens to have the same blood type!! Meanwhile
the nurse is suspecting somethings up, and contacts
the sheriff!! Also as a side story, the town is expecting
to be attacked by a gang whose main man has been
locked up!! A

EPISODE 7: THE RABBIT WHO ATE LAS VEGAS:

The team is hired to find a professor who has developed
a system to beat Las Vegas!! After sending a bunch of
money to a couple of his aquaintances, he disappeared!

Shot in old Vegas, this guest stars, in a small role,
Tracy Scoggins(Babylon 5)!! A+

EPISODE 8: THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS:

The team is called upon to help out N.Y. small businessmen
who are being extorted by local thugs!! A

EPISODE 9: HOLIDAY IN THE HILLS:

The boys are stranded in the hills with hillbillies hunting
them down because they stopped them from burning a
dude on a tree!!! And back home Amy has a supposed
API reporter dogging her around, secretly trying to get
to the A-Team!! A

EPISODE 10: WEST COAST TURNAROUND:

An old Army soldier is trying to run a farm, but there's
factions in the area that wants the land that he has!! A

EPISODE 11: ONE MORE TIME:

Three of the boys are captured by the MPs!! Just when
Trask thinks that he's finally got them for good he gets
thrown to the side by "higher authorities"!!! These
higher authorities are wanting the A-Team to go
into Borneo to rescue the General that put them
away in the first place, and his daughter!! A

EPISODE 12: TILL DEATH DO US PART:

A woman is being held against her will so she can
marry a rich dude in Texas!! Her friend hires the
A-Team to get her out!! A

EPISODE 13: THE BEAST FROM THE BELLY OF A BOEING:

Some freedom fighters from the "United People's Resistance"
take over a plane and want a lot of money!! The crew
get aboard by various means, and all Hell breaks loose!!

This has an iconic scene from one of the funniest movies
ever made toward the end of the movie!

Guest starring here is Andrew Robinson(Garak
from Star Trek: DS9!) A

EPISODE 14: A NICE PLACE TO VISIT:

The boys go to a small town for a funeral of a former
comrade and run into nothing but trouble!! A

From another reviewer at IMDb.com:

"A-team"is one of the best tv-series ever. Four
veterans of Vietnam war are wrongfully accused
and now they are outlaws.Peppard is very good
in his role.He plays Hannibal, the leader of the four.
I think is the best role of Peppard! But Mr.T as B.A
is also outstanding."A_team"is not only adventure
and crime. It has also comedy and sometimes romance.
If you like "MacGyver" you are going to love "A-Team".
Also if you are fun of Robert Vaughn you must see
"A-Team" because Vaughn plays general Stockwell.
A mysterious person who is a friend and an enemy
of the four veterans. - Andy S, (anstamatopoulos@yahoo.gr)
