This has no semblemce to the real Battlestar Galactica(1979)
TOO MUCH RELIGION!!!!
NO HUMOR!!!!
THE PLUSSES: the CGI is pretty good! That's it!!
Oh, one more thing, there are absolutely no likable
characters here!!!
DISC 1:
Episode 1: OCCUPATION:
This as turned into nothing more than a war show! D
Episode 2: PRECIPICE:
With the Cylons now in control of New Carpica, they
are ruling with a heavy hand! C
Episode 3: EXODUS PART 1:
This and the next episode is about the rescue effort
to get the captives off of New Caprica! B-
Episode 4: EXODUS PART 2:
Continued from the previous episode! B-
DISC 2:
Episode 5: COLABORATORS:
Several members of the crew elect themselves as judge,
jury and executioner of those who aided the Cylons! B-
Episode 6: TORN:
Much discontent being sown on the ship by two former
loyal members of the crew! Baltar gives the directions
to Earth to the Cylons!! B-
Episode 7: A MEASURE OF SALVATION:
With the knowledge now of how to wipe out the whole
Cylon population, the question becomes is it morally
right! B

Episode 8: HERO:
An previous member of the fleet shows up in a
Cylon ship! His name is Bulldog and there are
many questions on where he's been and how he got
free!

A flashback episode and totally unnecessary, AND I HATE BOXING! FF
Episode 10: THE PASSAGE:
The fleet is starving and it depends on Sharon to find

The crew find a planet with what they call algea and
since they're out of food it's what they need!
At this point this is not much more than a soap
opera!!!! D
Episode 12: RAPTURE:
Cylons show up at the planet that the crew has stopped
at for food! C
Episode 13: TAKING A BREAK FROM ALL YOUR WORRIES:
Adama and crew try to get information from Baltar! C
Episode 14: THE WOMAN KING:
They're still taking people off the planet and one
particular group(Sagitarian) refuse medical help and
bring a plague up with them, but it seems there's more
going on here! B
Episode 14: A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Tyrol and Cally get trapped when a leak causes the doors
to shut! B
Episode 15: DIRTY HANDS:
The knuckle draggers are unhappy with work conditions
and Tyrol calls for a stike! B-
Episode 16: MAELSTROM:
Kara's having a nervous breakdown! B-

This show is so messed up that the writers had
to pull a "Deus ex machina" to tie up loose ends
in the finale!!!
The producer of the show wants us to believe that
it is a very deep scifi drama when in reality is just
a pretty dull drama with some robots in it. I believe
that the show was written as they moved along
without a clear idea of what to do next. The series
has interesting concepts and ideas. Sometimes
the series gained some momentum, but it fizzled
away very quickly.
The people from this far far away planet called
Caprica celebrate what they call "baby-showers",
drink "wine" and "champagne", suffer from some
strange sickness called "cancer" eat sushi etc etc.
There is no creativity in the writing!!! Everything
looks and feels like today Earth!!! Even the
characters behaviors!! If I want to see an earth
like drama I'll watch 24, ER or The Bold and Beautiful!
I did not feel the characters struggle to survive.
Starbuck and Apollo tried tooo much to be "cool"
and "tough". I hated both characters. Adama cried
tooo much for a seasoned commanding officer.
The couple of seasons of Babylon 5

I really wanted to like this show. I watched every
episode, but at the end I still cannot recommend
