BONES SEASON 10
WTF!! Why kill of a main character just because he
needs a couple of months off! Write around the dude!!
Anyway, this takes Bones in many directions that just
aren't fun at all! Don't know what they were thinking
at all, but I see why this show died!
EPISODE # 1: THE CONSPIRACY IN THE CORPSE(Sept. 25, 2014):
So this picks up 3 months after the finale of the last season!!
Booth's in jail(stupid), Bones is breaking up(also stupid), and
life's Hell in jail for the once fed(predictable)!!
However, despite all of this, Bones works her magic and gets
Booth out of jail by blackmail!! And the team is all working to
try to find proof on who is the top dog in this conspiracy!!
I don't like this story line, it's not "logical"!! To have so many
top level government people involved in this conspiracy doesn't
hold water for me! Not only that, but it gets old really fast!!!
Not only that, but they kill off one of the main characters,
which, to me, was just totally unnecessary!!!!
One more thing, Brennan's and Booth's baby suddenly is now
like 5!!!!!! D-
EPISODE # 2: THE LANCE TO THE HEART(Oct. 2, 2014):
Continuing on from the previous episode!! D--
EPISODE # 3: THE PURGING OF THE PUNDIT(Oct. 9, 2014):
A half a dude is found in a storm cellar!! The dude was a radio
talk show host who made a name by being an asshole!!! Several
suspects here!!
There's a new agent that is slowly working his way to being
Seeley's new partner!! I like him, but he's not Sweets!!
I'm grateful that this goes back to the show that we all loved
from the start, and not some serial killer or dudes out to
kill the group!! A
EPISODE # 4: THE GEEK IN THE GUCK(Oct. 16, 2014):
A couple of pre-teens decide to try and see some "boobs"
and go to a site that's got camera's at various places, and
they look at a camera at a lake that some girls they know
say they go to topless!!! Instead of boobs, they see a dead
body!
Turns out that the dead dude was a top-notch gamer/
developer!! A
EPISODE # 5: THE CORPSE AT THE CONVENTION(Oct. 30, 2014):
Bones is a keynote speaker at a forensics convention!! And
low and behold there's a murder!! This one is an acquaintance
of Jack's, and not in a friendly way!!
This guest stars John Billingsley(Star Trek: Enterprise)!! A+
EPISODE # 6: THE LOST LOVE IN THE FOREIGN LAND(Nov. 6, 2014):
A woman is found dead in a field!! Turns out she was a maid
for a wealthy woman, and apparently stole from her!!
On the personal side, Cam has gotten a recipe for a dish from
Arastoo's home country!! When she tells him about it, he lets
her know that this is a dish usually prepared for a wedding!!
Also in this are Joanna Cassidy: Booth's mother(Who Framed Roger
Rabbit, Blade Runner), Ralph Waite: Booth's grandfather(Walton's)
& Cyndi Lauper: the psychic(singer, she actually sings "At Last" in
this one!!)!
Truly a wonderful episode!!! A+
EPISODE # 7: THE MONEY MAKER ON THE MERRY-GO-ROUND(Nov. 13, 2014):
A body is found under, wait for it, a merry-go-round!! This
leads the team to hedge fund traders, drugs and a not so
faithful husband!
On a couple of personal notes, it appears that the new agent's
father was also a trader, and a traitor, and left him and his mom
broke when he was young!! And Christine is now using questionable
language that Seeley wants nipped in the bud, but Brennan sees
no problem with it!! A
EPISODE # 8: THE PUZZLER IN THE PIT(Nov. 20, 2014):
This has a strange start to it, seeming as if we've missed about
five minutes of the episode!! Very strange! Anyway, a body is
found at a fracking site, and it's up to the team to figure out
who, what, where and why!!
On the personal side, Daisy returns, and has a very different
demeanor about her!! And she's very pregnant!! A
EPISODE # 9: THE MUTILATION OF THE MASTER MANIPULATOR(Dec. 4, 2014):
Body parts are strewn across town, and with the help of a couple
of You-Tube wannabe kids, the crew finds more!! The victim is
a university professor who taught psychology!!
On the personal side: Booth is having to study for a driving
test due to MANY tickets!! This means that Brennan is stuck
with Aubrey as a partner in this one! A
EPISODE # 10: THE 200th IN THE 20th(Dec. 11, 2014):
Another throwback episode, this one's in the early 50s!!
Booth's a thief, Brennan's a cop, her dad's the chief, Angela
work's in the cop's office, Wendall's a reporter, Cam's a maid,
Jack's a paleontologist and Clark's his assistant, Arastoo's a
fence, Angela's dad's - what else - a street musician, Aubrey
is the victim's boyfriend, Caroline owns a night club, Daisy
plays kind of a floozy whose hanging out with Aubrey and
Jessica's a singer!
Ok, the story: Booth breaks into a house, breaks into a safe
only to find a crispy corpse!! Brennan is steps behind him,
and when she gets back to the office, gets suspended for
not catching Booth! She goes to Booth and makes a deal
with him to have him help find the killer, with help from
almost the whole team!
This is even more fun than the first time they did this in
the 4th season's episode "The End In The Beginning"!! A+
EPISODE # 11: THE PSYCHIC IN THE SOUP(Mar. 26, 2015):
A psychic is killed and stuffed in a tree!! This brings out Angela's
friend Avalon who's a psychic to "help"!
Side story, it's what would've been Sweet's 30th birthday, and
the group deals with it in their own ways!!
Guest starring here is Cyndi Lauper(singer) returning as the
psychic!! A
EPISODE # 12: THE TEACHER IN THE BOOKS(Apr. 2, 2015):
A teacher's remains are found in an abandoned book store!
The teacher turns out to have done work for schools in the
slums!!
On the personal side, Bones has just signed up for a twitter
account, and really needs some help on the protocol!! A
EPISODE # 13: THE BAKER IN THE BITS(Apr. 9, 2015):
A man is seen being chased by a guy carrying a knife when
he falls down a hill and lands in a blasting zone!! BOOM!
He's gone! Team needs to find out who, why and by whom!
On the personal side, Arastoo hears from his family back
home and his brother is dying!! This causes some issues
between him and Cam! A
EPISODE # 14: THE PUTTER IN THE ROUGH(Apr. 16, 2015)
A man's had it with his life and decides to end it all!! He goes
up to a parking garage and climbs over the edge to jump when,
low and behold, someone's stolen his idea and beats him to
the punch!! The team now needs to find out who, why
and how!!
Turns out the dead dude was a master golfer, um, mini golf!!
Personal side: Bones is afraid that her dad is back up to no good!!
Ryan O'Neal returns as Temperance's dad!! A
EPISODE # 15: THE EYE IN THE SKY(Apr. 23, 2015):
This one involves a gambler who's been pretty messed up, and
Booth goes into a poker game to try to scope out the possible
suspects!! Bones gets concerned about Booth getting involved
in this case because of his gambling addiction!!
On the personal side, Brennan and Booth find out that they
are expecting again!! And Jack is on the prowle to invent a
unbreakable beaker!! A
EPISODE # 16: THE BIG BEEF AT THE ROYAL DINER(Apr. 30, 2015):
A celebrity chef is murdered, and some of the suspects happen
to be the staff at the diner that they all eat at!!
Personal stuff: Jack is successful in selling his idea and gets a
huge check for starters!! This concerns him and Angela 'cause
Cam told Jack that he couldn't work on this idea at work, so he
ended up doing all the work on his own time at home, which
means the Jeffersonian won't get any of the earnings from his
product!! A
EPISODE # 17: THE LOST IN THE FOUND(May 7, 2015):
A 16 year old girl who goes to an all girls school is found dead
by a stream!! There are many suspects here!!
On the personal side, Bones is having a problem dealing with
the fact that she's further along in her pregnancy than she
wants to admit!! A
EPISODE # 18: THE VERDICT IN THE VICTIMS(May 7, 2015):
This re-addresses the case in the episode The Baker In The
Bits!! It appears that they may have arrested the wrong man
for the murder! After some pleading, the group gets some of
the victim's bones so they could find out for sure!! A
EPISODE # 19: THE MURDER IN THE MIDDLE EAST(May 14, 2015):
A man who is murdered in Iran is the son of a very high ranking
authority!! He arranges to have Vasiri brought to a secret place
to find out what happened to his son and who did it!! This has
the team getting in gear to head to Iran to find Arastoo!!
On the personal side, Booth is spiraling deeper into the mire
of gambling! Another really stupid plot line that they could have
easily done without in this series!! I see now why so many people
who've reviewed this series says that it's gone downhill in the last
few seasons!! A
EPISODE # 20: THE WOMAN IN THE WHIRLPOOL(May 28, 2015):
A woman's body is found and she turns out to have
been a cookie jar collector with quite a valuable
collection!! One of the suspects is another cookie
jar enthusiest!
Meanwhile, Bones has decided to move out of the
home with Christine because of Booth's gambling
problems! B+
EPISODE # 21: THE LIFE IN THE LIGHT(June 4, 2015):
A biker and ex-con is found in a forest quite dead!! The search
for answers takes the team to ex-cons, bikers, and yoga?
On the personal front, Booth's still fighting the gambling
thing!! And Jack and Angela are seriously talking about moving
to Paris! A
EPISODE # 22: THE NEXT IN THE LAST(June 11, 2015):
So another reference to Pelant!! WTF!! This was stupid when
they ran this story line before, and it just isn't any better now!!
A body's found hanging on an obelisk a-la Pelant! With him
dead as a doornail, this is thought to be a copycat murder!
Personal issues, it appears that the team is doing this one
last case together before everyone takes off for parts known!!! A

I love this show so much. It's so intelligent
and unlike anything you've seen before. You've
seen cop shows, you've seen crime shows, but
you've never seen a show where the bones are
the key to solving the mystery. With an array of
crimes, pretty much all involving murder, but you
can't be surprised, how can they solve crimes with
bones if nobody's dead? There are many different
main plots, going throughout the entire season.
There's Gormagon, The Gravedigger, Pelant and
many others. With gripping stories, love, loss and
babies, Bones has everything you could ever want.
Overall, I give this show a 9 out of 10. - Taylor Kingston
