BONES SEASON 2
Season two continues the series is about an F.B.I.
agent & a bone specialist who, together, use usual
and the not-so-usual criminal sleuthing methods to
solve unusual crimes in the Washington D.C. area, as
well as others!!
All-in-all, this is actually pretty good, and interesting!!
EPISODE # 1: THE TITAN ON THE TRACKS(Aug. 30, 2006):
There's a new head of the department(Cam) who apparently has
a history with Seeley!! She's taken over a job that Temperance
(Bones) would have expected to get, but was appointed while
she was away!! And of course Dr. Goodman, who made the
decision, is on vacation when Bones gets back!! Meanwhile,
a car is hit by a train that a senator is on, who gets killed!
The car is owned by a former basketball player turned
politician who had a grievance with the good senator and he's
the one that all the evidence points to as being the killer! A
EPISODE # 2: THE MOTHER AND CHILD IN THE BAY(Sept. 6, 2006):
This one is quite disturbing, as a woman is found floating
in some water, and she was pregnant! The body of a fetus
is also discovered there, minus a few missing parts!! This woman
had been missing for over a year and the husband was thought
to have killed her and disposed of the body, but it could never
be proven!! So now the crew is off and trying to put all the pieces
together so they can bring the husband to justice! A
EPISODE # 3: THE BOY IN THE SHROUD(Sept. 13, 2006):
Tensions between Bones and the new girl(Cam) are building!! It looks
like somethings gotta give, and it ain't the new girl!! Also, a young
boy is found in a bunch of garbage and the crew are busy trying
to find out who he was and what a foster girl has to do with the
whole thing!! This is really upsetting to Temperance as she use
to be in the foster system!! A
EPISODE # 4: THE BLONDE IN THE GAME(Sept. 20, 2006):
A serial killer from a show from the first season appears to have
struck again, only he's behind bars and the team needs to figure
out how he fits into the whole mess!! A
EPISODE # 5: THE TRUTH IN THE LYE(Sept. 27, 2006):
A badly decomposed body is found in a construction site
in a tub full of chemicals!! The crew have to try to figure out
who it is, how they died, and who did it!! Side story: Seeley
is dealing with his ex and just trying to figure out where his
feelings are leading him! A
EPISODE # 6: THE GIRL IN SUITE 2103(Oct. 4, 2006):
An explosion kills several people in an apartment, along with
another unknown woman from the adjoining one!! The group
proceed to put the pieces together(literally) and end up with
a diplomatic dilemma!! As an aside Seeley and Cam have a
fling and it causes ripples in the office! A
EPISODE # 7: THE GIRL WITH THE CURL(Nov. 1, 2006):
A young miss beauty pagent contestant has been missing for
several months, and she's found in a water treatment plant!!
An identity is quickly made, but finding out how she got there
takes a bit longer!! Meanwhile, Jack decides to take the plunge
and asks Angela out!! A
EPISODE # 8: THE WOMAN IN THE SAND(Nov. 8, 2006):
This is based in the Las Vegas area!! A woman is found just
outside Vegas, and while looking for clues, another body
of a man who was killed several years earlier is also discovered!
The main fun in this one is the fact that Seeley is a recovering
gambleholic!! And the fact that Bones has never been exposed
to this atmosphere!!! A
EPISODE # 9: ALIENS IN A SPACESHIP(Nov. 15, 2006):
Two youths are found in an unearthed container!! They had
disappeared several years earlier, kidnapped by a maniac
who specializes in burying people alive, asking for a huge
ransom, then if the ransom isn't paid, disappearing, leaving
the victims to die of suffocation!!! This starts out as a fairly
normal case, until the said kidnapper kidnaps Bones and
Jack!! This is by far the best episode of the series so far!! A+
EPISODE # 10: THE HEADLESS WITCH IN THE WOODS(Nov. 29, 2006):
It appears that black magic is responsible for a young man's
death!! Now the group has to find out what really happened!!
Meanwhile, Temperance is attracted to the brother of the killed
man!!! A
EPISODE # 11: JUDAS ON A POLE(Dec. 13, 2006):
Someone is going around burning people after killing them!!
This eventually comes around to Temperance's brother and
missing father!! A fairly straight forward episode this time,
with emphasis on family!! (I had a lot of this figured out pretty
quickly, but still enjoyed it a lot!!!)
Ryan O'Neal shows up here as Temperance's father!! A
EPISODE # 12: THE MAN IN THE CELL(Jan. 31, 2007):
There's a fire in the jail, and one person is cooked!! Turns
out it's the serial killer from a previous episode, "The Blonde
In The Game", and another one from last season, "The Man
On Death Row", Howard Epps!! Only problem is, the body isn't
Epps, and he's now on the loose and out for revenge on the
entire crew!! A
EPISODE # 13: THE GIRL IN THE GATOR(Feb. 7, 2007)
I'll bet you can't guess where the next victim is found!!!
AWWWWWW, you peeked!! Yep, in an alligator!! Seems
there was the party going on in Florida where a bunch of
girls were having fun, and one of them ended up in the
gator!! As a side story here, Seeley is having trouble coming
to grips with Epps' death, and he's now going through some
psychic evaluations!!
This guest stars Eddie McClintock(Warehouse 13), who's
in the next 3 episodes!! A
EPISODE # 14: THE MAN IN THE MANSION(Feb. 14, 2007):
The husband of an old flame of Jack's is killed, and the group
get on the case right away!! They come up with the number
one suspect, but Jack goes to the house and removes a
picture of the victim and him and a couple of other guys!!
This is REALLY a bad move, and jeopardizes the whole
case!! A
EPISODE # 15: THE BODIES IN THE BOOK(Mar. 14, 2007):
Temperance has written a new book, and it seems to be
very popular!! So popular, in fact, that someone is copying
her crimes and killing off people!! She of course feels responsible
and the guys try to make her feel better, but she's having
a problem not taking the whole case personally!! A
EPISODE # 16: THE BONELESS BRIDE IN THE RIVER(Mar. 21, 2007):
A body is found in a box in the water, minus all of its bones!!
This is the last episode with Eddie in it, as the relationship
between him and Temperance comes to a head!! A
EPISODE # 17: THE PRIEST IN THE CHURCHYARD(Mar. 28, 2007):
A busted water main floods out a cemetery at a church and
the crew are called in to try to put all the bones back into the
proper graves!! These are all from long ago, except one!! That
one was buried only three years earlier, and the group identifies
it as a former priest that use to work in the church!! Many
suspects, one guilty!! A
EPISODE # 18: THE KILLER IN THE CONCRETE(Apr. 4, 2007):
A man is found buried in concrete!! Turns out to be a former
gang member!! The group starts tracking down known affiliates
of his, and, as usual, one thing leads to a mess!! Bones' dad
reappears here to help out, as he is known to have contact
with unsavory types of people!!
Ryan O'Neal(Payton Place, Paper Moon, Love Story & Tatum
O'Neal's Father) returns to guest star in this one as Temperance's
father!! A
EPISODE # 19: SPACEMAN IN A CRATER(Mar. 2, 2007):
There be aliens falling from the sky!! Ok, not really, but someone
does fall from the sky and drops quite heavily to the Earth! It's up
to the team to solve who, why and when of this one!!
This one guest stars Andrea Thompson(Babylon 5)!! A
EPISODE # 20: THE GLOWING BONES IN THE OLD STONE HOUSE(Mar. 9, 2007):
Pretty much what you would guess, someone is found dead
in an old house, and it's glowing pretty good!! The guys and
gals try to put all the pieces together to find out who, what,
why and how!! A
EPISODE # 21: STARGAZER IN A PUDDLE(May 16, 2007):
The finale of the season finds Jack and Angela finally
figuring out what they want in their relationship, Temperance's
father making a stand, and the bones of a young(well at
least that's the original thought), girl found in a pond that
freezes up, but is now thawed out!! A whole lot going on
in this one!!!
Besides Ryan O'Neal showing up again, this has as Angela's
father, Billy Gibbons from the rock band Z Z Top!!! A

I love this show so much. It's so intelligent
and unlike anything you've seen before. You've
seen cop shows, you've seen crime shows, but
you've never seen a show where the bones are
the key to solving the mystery. With an array of
crimes, pretty much all involving murder, but you
can't be surprised, how can they solve crimes with
bones if nobody's dead? There are many different
main plots, going throughout the entire season.
There's Gormagon, The Gravedigger, Pelant and
many others. With gripping stories, love, loss and
babies, Bones has everything you could ever want.
Overall, I give this show a 9 out of 10. - Taylor Kingston
