DEAD ZONE SEASON 6 PAGE

DEAD ZONE SEASON 6

A teacher wakes up after six years in a coma and finds
he has psychic powers!

This stars Anthony Michael Hall(Warehouse 13)
and Nicole de Boer(Star Trek: Enterprise)!

The Dead Zone is explained by a doctor as that part
of the brain that most people never access!

There are a lot of specials on all the season discs
including commentaries, deleted scenes, and other
special featurettes! I'm not going to list them all,
but just know some of them are pretty interesting!

EPISODE # 1: HERITAGE(June 17, 2007):

Two main characters are gone after this episode, which is
about a fire in the temple! B

EPISODE # 2: EGO(June 24, 2007):

There's a new sheriff in town, and not a very likable one!! B-

EPISODE # 3: RE-ENTRY(July 01, 2007):

A ship in space is in trouble and they call in Johnny for
help! Sarah goes into labor! B+

EPISODE # 4: BIG TOP(July 08, 2007):

Johnny goes to a carnival because J.J. has the hots for
one of the girls in the circus! B+

EPISODE # 5: INTERRED(July 15, 2007):

Johnny gets a vision about someone being buried alive! B

EPISODE # 6: SWITCH(July 22, 2007):

The name of the episode is an homage to the great movie
with Robert Redford and Paul Newman! In this episode Johnny
is headed for Montreal to visit Bruce and go fishing on
the lake! On the train Johnny runs into a good looking
blonde who's on the train to rob some jewels!

This is done very film-noirish! This is the first, and
probably the last, episode I gave an A to! A

EPISODE # 7: NUMB(July 29, 2007):

Johnny goes into another coma! B

EPISODE # 8: OUTCOME(Aug. 05, 2007):

Johnny picks up Sarah's sister at the bus station and he
gets a vision that there's going to be an explosion! D-

EPISODE # 9: TRANSGRESSIONS(Aug. 12, 2007):

Back to the religious fiasco that this series delved
in just a little too much for my taste! C

EPISODE # 10: DRIFT(Aug. 19, 2007):

Drift is horse and it's owned by Bruce(and others) and Johnny
shows up there and winds up having to find Bruces new girlfiend! B

EPISODE # 11: EXILE(Aug. 26, 2007):

Johnny shows up in a small town in Indiana and the girl
psychic from the past episodes shows up again, this time
Johnny has to save her and him!

The stupid part is about Sarah and the V.P. getting closer! B

EPISODE # 12: AMBUSH(Sept. 09, 2007):

Johnny goes back home to find out that the sheriff is in
danger, along with himself and another dude!!

It appears that JJ is showing signs of having powers like
his dad!

Continued in the last episode! B

EPISODE # 13: DENOUEMENT(Sept. 16, 2007):

Continued from the previous episode!

More really stupid stuff here about Sarah and the VP!

Last episode of the series!

Guest starring: Tom Skeritt!

It appears to me that they didn't think the show was ending
as soon as it did, because of the several loose ends left! B

From a reviewer at IMDb.com:

The Dead Zone is an excellent show. Cutting-edge graphics
and subject matter, interesting twists on each show, plus
compelling continuing story lines threaded throughout the
individual episodes, make this a great watch. Kudos to the
creators (Michael Piller and his son Shawn, who is carrying
on his legacy) and actor/producer Anthony Michael Hall
(he's come a long way since "Sixteen Candles") plus the rest
of the excellent cast. The show has improved with every
season, as the cast chemistry increases, rather than fades,
and the story lines become even more creative instead
of growing stale. Great TV in an era of yawn-same-old-
same-old detective/mystery/police shows. Set it on your
DVR like me and NEVER MISS ONE EPISODE!!!The Dead
