Roberts & Brad Garret, this is a "family comedy" about,
you guessed it, Ray! Most of the humor comes from the
others(Doris, Peter & Brad)! I find this tedious at best
and boring at worst!

A cult(Innner Path) recruits Robert to get to Raymond!
The boys use this to try to get Marie and Debra to quit

Some friends of Ray and Debra have been going to a theropist
and Debra says that she and Ray aught to go also! D
EPISODE # 3: HOMEWORK(Sept. 30, 2002):
Ray is pissed because he had to help Ally with her homework!
So much so that he goes to the school to tell the teacher
that she's giving out too much homework! D
EPISODE # 4: PET THE BUNNY(Oct. 07, 2002):
The kids are coloring on some paper that they got from
Ray's office and it happens to be ones that he wrote a
eulogy for his father! C-
EPISODE # 5: WHO AM I?(Oct. 14, 2002):
Ray and Debra go out on a Saturday night to sepparate places
and of course Marie makes a big deal out of it!

This is one of the stupidest episodes of anything I have
ever watched!!!!! D

Ray and Debra have new folks over and their son who is
less than likable!! D-
EPISODE # 9: SHE'S THE ONE(Nov. 18, 2002):
Robert picks up a good looking woman and the whole family
loves her, until she does her after dinner "mint"! C-
EPISODE # 10: MARIE'S VISION(Nov. 25, 2002):
Everyone thinks Marie needs glasses! Starts a big fight! D-
EPISODE # 11: THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS(Dec. 09, 2002):
Ray gets a nice present for Marie's birthday and asks Robert
and Frank for considerably less than a third each! D
EPISODE # 12: GRANPA STEALS(Jan. 06, 2003):
Frank steals some snacks at a grocery store and then yells
at the guy in the vegie section after he gets caught! D+
EPISODE # 13: SOMEBODY HATES RAYMOND(Jan. 27, 2003):
Andy gets a job with a radio show host who hates Ray! D
EPISODE # 14: JUST A FORMALITY(Feb. 03, 2003):
Robert plans on proposing to Amy, goes to her parents for
their permission but they say no! The actual proposal
is really cute!!

Ray drops off Ally at a sleepover at Peggy's house and she
pats Ray on the ass! D+
EPISODE # 20: WHO'S NEXT?(Apr. 14, 2003):
All the couoples argue(I know, surprise) about who should
replace them if they die! D+
EPISODE # 21: THE SHOWER(Apr. 28, 2003):
Debra is the maid of honor for Amy's wedding and of course
Marie is being an ass as usual! So things go from bad to
worse when Debra gets arrested for DUI when she rests in
the car after the shower!
Beyond stupid!

You would think that they would at least make one episode
special for Robert's wedding! NOPE!

There are things I like about this show, but the
one thing I do not like is Raymond. He is so obnoxious!
I don't know why the people around him put up with
him - and why the show is so-named.
I like most of the other characters. To me, Robert is
much the better son. Raymond is entirely self-centred
and certainly does not deserve such a lovely wife and
children.
I KNOW it's only a show, and entertainment, bit it annoys
me that the others seem so oblivious of his faults.
The show is amusing - but certainly not exceptional or
deserving of all those awards. - alistair-80
