GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES SET
The complete set of all of the "Garage Sale Mystery" movies of
which there were 16! While the lead actress is far from the
most mesmerizing, she does her best!
An edtorial here and just my humble opinion, bet the lead here
not only destroyed her professional life but affected those stars
that relied on this show for income! Horrible decision on her
part and I feel really bad for the rest of the cast!

An estate sale - a wedding dress - a missing groom!
Missing since 1979!!! A
A review from IMDb.com:
It's a mystery why NOBODY figured out the wedding dress in question
is from present day - not 1979!! What were they thinking?? Somebody
truly should be fired for such a HUGE blunder . . . I was so happy
that it was burned in the movie:) And by the way, I liked Rick
Ravanello in the role as the husband - not sure why they let him
go.
I also wish they would film in actual old houses once in awhile - not
all cookie cutter Pottery Barn style houses.
At least these movies are WAY better than the insipid Aurora Teagarden
movies . . .Candace Cameron Bure is awful in these (and her blindingly
white teeth!) Actually Lori Laughlin could bring it down a notch in
the white teeth category. I don't know if actors know how distracting
it is when all you can concentrate on is their Chiclets teeth! - creekdogs

An old friend of Jen who also owns a junk shop makes
contact with her after being estranged after several
years! They re-kindle their friendship and while cathcing
up they find the body of her old boyfriend who's been
shot(the beginning of the episode shows him getting shot)!
Of course all fingers are pointed squarly at her friend!!! A
A review from IMDb.com:
This mystery was written a bit differently than the others,
whereas Jennifer was trying to prove her friend's innocence
in a seemingly dead end mystery. Worth the watch! - jml1988

This is really good! It's basically about someone going
around killing people following the story line of very
famous writers: A.C. Doyle, Agatha Christie etc.! Of
course Jennifer gets involved when one of the people
killed is an acquaintence of hers that she met when
he came into the shop to buy something! A
A review from IMDb.com:
I still love this series in spite of the corrupt Lori
Loughlin. I actually still find her perfect for the
role much to my annoyance.
There are still many I haven't seen but I prefer when
she's finding dead bodies at garage sales or in old
houses she's checking out for antiques. This one felt
more like an Aurora Teagarden mystery I saw where the
murderer was copying real murders. Lori even delivered
lines like Aurora's character would have.
I liked the camping subplot with father and son and it
gave me a chance to get a little more used to the new
actor playing their son, Logan.
It seemed a little slow and not as exciting as usual.
But still enjoyable. - Design88

A popular country singer that comes from town
visits shows up to do a show in the town! The
bass player dies and the set-up looks like suicide! A
A review from IMDb.com:
The story is interesting enough. I didn't suspect the
right person until very late. Actually, I think they
had almost no proof, even after the arrest.
The acting doesn't seem real. The characters are shallow.
To me there was one interesting quirk - Loughlin's acting
at times reminding me very much of her co-star on When
Calls the Heart, Pascale Hutton. Only some little
snippets. - Jackbv123

This was one of the better ones from the series. I suspected
all along who the killer was, but there were times I doubted
myself. The medieval furniture/armor buying aspect was fun
as well. - jml1988

Jenn and Dani pick up an old reel to reel tape recorder
and when they play the tape that's in it the hear the
man who owned it saying someone's here to kill me! A
A review from IMDb.com:
This one wasn't spectacular, but wasn't awful. It was
just okay. I would have liked more antique talk. The
conclusion was a bit of a surprise, which was nice,
as usually I guess it early on. - jml1988

I actually agree with Jo below, this show started out
great with mysteries tied to murders and antiques that
are bound together! Anyway, a rich old lady dies in a
fall on her stairs and her daughter-in-law brings in a
puzzle box to see if she can open it! A
