HART TO HART MOVIE SET 2

The second set of the movies made from the Hart To Hart series!
In this set we have the last four movies, and the final of all of
the Hart To Hart episodes/movies!! These are only available
as a MOD (Made On Demand)DVD set from Amazon!! They
have no special features, and worst of all, NO CLOSED
CAPTIONING!!! In this day and age, this is not just bad, it's
deplorable, as many of the fans of this series are now in their
50s and 60s and MANY of them have hearing issues!! Absolutely
unbelievable that they would make such a horrible decision!!
When you go to Amazon and look at the specs, it says these
are on DVD-R discs and won't play on any "recording devices"!
Not true, as they play fine on the computer!!

Returning in these movies are Robert Wagner, Stephanie
Powers & Lionel Stander!! Along with of course, Freeway(2nd)!

MOVIE # 5: SECRETS OF THE HART(1995):

Jonathan & Jennifer hold an auction and while looking at
some of the items, Jennifer comes across a heart shaped
locket with a couple of pictures in it!! One of them is Jonathan,
the other a girl that he doesn't recognize! After some research
the Harts find the girl, and she says she's Jonathan's long lost
sister!!

Lionel really has aged in this one!! You can see how much work
it is for him just to do a few scenes!! Such a wonderful actor!!
This is a pretty sad show all the way around and dedicated to
Mr. Stander!!

(The Apprentice) & Jason Bateman(Horrible Bosses 1 & 2)!! A

It was an interesting tv movie. I think that they were
stretching a little making Jonathan's sister appear
in a locket out of nowhere. Stefanie Powers looks
beautiful. Lionel Stander looked bad. I didn't realize
this was his last episode before he died. The side

Ross. Overall I like the earlier tv movie specials as

Done in the memory of Lionel, it starts out with the reading
of Max's will! He leaves everything to his grand niece,
Maureen, except for a clock that he gives to the Harts! He's
set up as his last testament a vacation for the Harts!! The
real story is about Maureen's new boyfriend who's new in
her life!!

The first Hart To Hart without the familiar introduction by
Lionel!! The emotion in Robert's and Stephanie's voices I
believe is quite real, and a testament to their love for Lionel!!

Also as part of the story is one surrounding an author
friend of the Harts!! Her husband has passed away and
she has re-married to a much younger man!!

episode "The City On The Edge Of Forever)!! A

The story is about Jonathan and Jennifer going to Sidney,

animal refuge!! Only the old beau actually has designs on
winning back Jennifer, at all costs!!!

A really cute exchange during the Harts attempts to find
Harvey J. Lee where a next door neighbor and Jonathan
are talking about Harvey and him "Moonlighting"!! The guy
comes up with quite a funny line!! A

liked the original series. It is dire in the extreme. You
keep thinking something exciting is going to happen
throughout and it never does. Perhaps one should
have been wary of the vanity "Producer: Stefanie Powers"
credit at the start of the show; followed up after 120
minutes of pure snooze by "Executive Producer: Robert
Wagner". There is no pace in the show nor any sense
of intrigue or danger. It seems to be a way to showcase
Sydney and the Sydney Opera House. It really makes

The grand finale of the Hart To Hart saga!! This one has the
Harts in Germany! Again we have Stephanie playing two roles!
And again, we have a man obsessed with Jennifer's double
and wants to make her all his!! Jennifer's actually in Germany
as a donor for an 8 year old boy named Max who needs
a bone marrow transplant!!

Guest starring Dwight Schultz(StarTrek: TNG & Voyager, The
A-Team, and Dwight also lent his voice talents to many anime
and games, including Princess Mononoke, Final Fantasy: The
Spirits Within, Final Fantasy X, X2, XII, XIII & XIII 2) George
Hamilton IV(Love At First Bite, Zorro The Gay Blade)

Great settings, with some really wonderful scenery that's
cool to see!!

This is a fitting end to the epic tale, with some great acting,
especially on Dwight's part!! The spark is still there between
Jonathan & Jennifer, and they even give a nod to the great
Lionel Stander!! A wonderful send off!! A

Munich is the setting of yet another Hart Anniversary
except this time Jennifer takes on a whole new personality.
She's there to save a young boy's life, who knew she'd have
to save her own.

I'm glad to see that after the series had ended that they
continued with these reunion movies. They are just as
good as the series episodes. The chemistry with the
main characters is still there and the action is as good
as it gets. I loved the series and I love the reunion movies.
A must see for any Hart to Hart fan!! Even with Max gone
(Lionel Stander), they manage to keep the consistency
