Alfred Hitchcock Hour Season 3

After the success of The Alfred Hitchcock Presents TV
show, they decided to expand it to an hour! All 32 Season
One episodes are presented here!!

Many great actors of the time are here in season one, too
many to name here but I will note them in each episode!

Sadly, there are no closed captions so that my lovely wife
can enjoy these!! :(

EPISODE # 1: RETURN OF THE VERGE LIKENS(Oct. 05, 1964):

An important man in the community kills an unimportant man
and his son vows justice!!

Starring Petere Fonda(Escape From L.A., Many biker movies,
son of Henry), George Lindey returns! A-

EPISODE # 2: CHANGE OF ADDRESS(Oct. 12, 1964):

A man really wants ot live by the water and moves him and
his wife there, but she REALLY doesn't want to be there!!

Starring: Arthur Kennedy(A Summer Place, Payton Place, Lawrence
Of Arabia)!

EPISODE # 3: WATER'S EDGE(Oct. 19, 1964):

A man who shares a cell with another man who dies!
He was in prison for robbery and murder! When the
other man gets out he goes to the town where this
all took place, meets up with his ex, and, well,
watch the show!

Starring Ann Southern(Private Secretary, The Ann Southern
Show, My Mother The Car), John Cassavetes returns! B+

EPISODE # 4: LIFE WORK OF JUAN DIAZ(Oct. 26, 1964):

A man dies in Mexico and his wife goes and tries to keep
him burried, as his grave is only paid up for a year!
This is extremely strange, never heard of renting a
grave!!!

Starring Alajandro Rey(The Flying Nun, Fun In Acapulco),
Barry Atwater(Star Trek: TOS episode "The Savage Curtain")!! C

EPISODE # 5: SEE THE MONKEY DANCE(Nov. 09, 1964):

A man is headed to his home for a rendezvous with his
married girlfriend! He meets a man on the train there
and he presses the man for information about where he
lives!!

Starring Efrem Zimbalest Jr.(77 Sunset Strip, Babylon 5,
several itterations of Batman annimation series as Alfred),
Roddy McDowall returns!! A-

EPISODE # 6: LONELY PLACE(Nov. 16, 1964):

A peach farmer hires a drifter and he takes advantage
of the situation!

This is a disgusting episode!!

EPISODE # 7: THE McGREAGOR AFFAIR(Nov. 23, 1964):

Set in 1827, a man thinks that he'd be much happier without
his drunken wife! He makes a living by carrying boxes to
the local medical school which contain - well, you really
should just watch it!!

Starring Andrew Duggen(Lancer, In Like Flint, 12 O'Clock
High, Burbon Street Beat), Elsa Lanchester(Mary Poppins,
Bride Of Frankenstein, Blackbeard's Ghost, That Darn Cat),

EPISODE # 8: MISADVENTURE(Dec. 07, 1964):

A meter reader enters a house to read one and it appears
that he's out to kill one of the occupants! This one is
really strange!!!

Stararin: Barry Nelson, Lola Albright rerturn, George
Kennedy(Charade, Airport movies, Nake Gun movies, The
Dirty Dozen, many other movies)! B+

EPISODE # 9: TRIUMPH(Dec. 14, 1964):

Some missionaries visit some others who have been in
the Indian jungles doing, well, missionary work! But it
appears there is a deep dark secret that they're afraid
the new folks will find out!!

Starrintg in this one is Ed Begley(12 Angry Men, Hang 'Em
High, father of Ed Begley Jr. known for many movies &
TV shows!)!! B

EPISODE # 10: MEMO FROM PERGATORY(Dec. 21, 1964):

A wannabe writer goes to New York to join a gang so
he can write a book about gangs from a first person
view!!

Can't stand stories sbout gangs!! Even with the great
Walter Koenig in it!!

Starring: Walter Koenig(You know!!!), James Caan(The
Godfather movies, Dick Tracy[1990])! D

EPISODE # 11: CONSIDER HER WAYS(Dec. 28, 1964):

In a world entirely run by woman, a woman(what else) awakes
from seemingly having been asleep to find that she has been
transformed fromm a doctor to a mother! It turns out that
all the women are earmarked for either doctor, workers,
servitors or mothers!

This one's beyond silly!!!

Starring: Ellen Corby(The Waltons)! B

EPISODE # 12: CRIMSON WITNESS(Jan. 04, 1965):

A man loses his position in a company to his brother! He
then loses his wife, then his girlfriend! He's not a happy
camper!!

This one features Peter Lawford(Rat Pack member), Roger
C. Carmel(Star Trek: TOS as Harry Mudd!)! B+

EPISODE # 13: WHERE THE WOODBINE TWINETH(Jan. 11, 1965)

I bet you're wondering what a "woodbine" is! Me too!!
Welp, it's a plant that climbs on walls!

A little gril loses her father and her aunt takes her in!
She has an imaginary friend that seems to be making her
do and think strange things!!

Similar to the movie "The Borrowers"!

EPISODE # 14: FINAL PERFORMANCE(Jan. 18, 1965):

A man gets stopped after picking up a hitchhicker by a small
town sheriff whem he says that he was speeding, poluting and
kidnapping!! He's in deep shit!!

Franchot Tone(Ben Casey, Mutany On The Bounty[1935]), Roger
Perry(Star Trek: TOS episode "Tomorrow Is Yesterday", Arrest
And Trial, Harrigan And Son) star here! B+

EPISODE # 15: THANATOS PALACE HOTEL(Feb. 01, 1965):

There's a hotel that caters to the very special, people
who want to die!

Starring A returning Angie Dickenson, Barry Atwater
Steven Hill(Law & Order)! A

EPISODE # 16: ONE OF THE FAMILY(Feb. 08, 1965):

New parents invite his old nanny to come and stay with them
to help with the new baby! Questions arise when they become
suspicious about her when they hear about the death of a baby
dieing in San Francisco!!

Another no-name episode! B

EPISODE # 17: AN UNBLOCKED WINDOW(Feb. 15, 1965):

There's a nurse murderer around the neighborhood and of
course we are centered on a house with no less than three
nurses in it! I wonder whee the murderer will strike next!!

EPISODE # 18: THE TRAP(Feb. 22, 1965):

A well to do toy manufacturer has a bored wife who figures
it 's time to get rid of the husabnd and have a new beau!!

Starring: Ann Francis, Donelly Rhodes return! B+

EPISODE # 19: WALLY THE BEARD(Mar. 01, 1965):

A rather plain and dull man has his girlfriend break up with
him because he's, well, plain and dull!! So he decides to do
a make-over with a beard(hence the name), and a wig so he can
meet girls! It appears to work well, in fact, maybe too well!

This is quite good!!!

Starring: Lee Bergere(Star Trek: TOS episode "The Savage

EPISODE # 20: DEATH SCENE(Mar. 08, 1965):

A mechanic helps the daughter of a famous director and<
takes a shine to her! He keeps finding ways to get to
see her and tries to work himself into her life!!!

Starring in this one is Vera Mile, John Carridine & James
Farrentino return! B+

EPISODE # 21: THE PHOTOGROPHER AND THE UNDERTAKER(Mar. 15, 1965):

Two hitmen who happen to work for the same "firm" get contracts
for each other!!!

This stars Jack Cassidy(The Partridge Family), Alfred Ryder
Star Trek: TOS episode "The Man Trap"), Harry Townes returns! B+

EPISODE # 22: THOU STILL UNRAVISHED BRIDE(Mar. 22, 1965):

There's a rash of murders of young ladies. A woman who's
to be married that day decides to take a walk in the seedy
part of town just hours before the happy cerimony! What
could possibly go wrong!!??!!

Starring Sally Kellerman(Star Trek: TOS episode "Where No
Man Has Gone Before", M*A*S*H), Ted Bissell(Gober Pyle USMC,
That Girl), Ben Wright, David Carridine & Alan Napier return! B+

EPISODE # 23: COMPLETELY FOOLPROOF(Mar. 29, 1965):

A man and wife are in the thows of a divorce with complications!

EPISODE # 24: POWER OF ATTORNEY(Apr. 05, 1965)

A gigalo(and a murderer) has his sights on a widow and her
daughter for a mark!

A man who's running around on his wife finds out that she's
been doing the same thing! He finds a man who will "take
care of" his problem!!

EPISODE # 26: THE MONKEY'S PAW - - A RETELLING(Apr. 19, 1965):

This one is just plain strange! A group are at a Gypsy's
gathering and a man who's having financial problems gets
hold of a "magic rabbit's foot" and make some wishes that
came true, much to his chagrin!!

This has Jane Wyatt(Father Knows Best, Star Trek: TOS,
Lee Majors(The Six Million Dollar Man), Stuart Margolin
(The Rockford Files, Kelly's Heroes)! A-

EPISODE # 27: THE SECOND WIFE(Apr. 26, 1965):

A man and woman meet through correspondence and get married
but she's concerned about what happened to his first wife!!

This has June Lockhart(Lassie, Lost In Space!), John
Anderson returns! A

EPISODE # 28: NIGHT FEVER(May 03, 1965):

A man's in the hospital after having pulled a heist in which
the guard was killed and his accomplace got away! The police
gill him relentlessly, but he doesn't talk about who his
partner is! He sweet talks a nurse into helping him escape
but - - - -!

Starring: Peggy Lipton(The Mod Squad), Don Marshall returns! A

EPISODE # 29: OFF SEASON(May 10, 1965):

A cop with anger issues and an itchy trigger finger kills
a wino for breaking into a liquer store! He gets fired, goes
to another town and becomes a cop and history may or may
not repeat itself!!

Last episode of the series! Kinda leaves on a sour note!

Incident At A Corner

A crosswalk guard has a run-in with the president of
the school safety dept. and later he gets accused of
being too friendly with the kids he helps out across
the street! The obvious person who all think that the
accusation came from is far from the truth!!

This stars Vera Miles and George Peppard! B-

was way ahead of its time. Its host, Alfred Hitchcock
presented stories in this weekly, half-hour dramatic/
suspense anthology that virtually no other program
would even dream of presenting. Like many of Hitch's
films, the stories presented frequently dealt with
murder and deception, sometimes on a humerous level.
Anyone expecting the show to end with the conventional
happy ending would fare better to tune into another
television program. In addition to hosting the show,
Hitchcock directed several episodes of the series
