with a way to cover the whole affair up!

EPISODE # 2: FOG CLOSING IN(Oct. 07, 1956):

A man goes on a trip for a week and leaves his paranoid
wife alone in the country! Remember, just because you're
paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!!

Two men drop in to a friends home to invite him
to go fishing! They find him finishing off filling
a hole in the basement and get the wrong impression!

EPISODE # 4: KILL WITH KINDNESS(Oct. 21, 1956):

A woman and her brother who are hard up financially concoct
a plan where they fake his death by subtituting another
man's body to get the insurance!

A man overly stuck on himself and having no head
for business goes to his aunt for some financial
help! He finally decides the only way out of his
dilemma was to kill his aunt!

A man is all a twitter over meeting up with an
old flame from 20 years ago! What he gets is not
what he expects!

A man kills a business rival and needs, wait for
it, an alibi!!!

EPISODE # 8: CONVERSATION OVER A CORPSE(Nov. 18, 1956):

Two old spinster sisters are in danger of losing
their house. They have a plan to avoid the problem!

EPISODE # 9: CRACK OF DOOM(Nov. 25, 1956):

A man has a talk with a friend after he asks him
to join them in a friendly game of penny-ante
poker, explaining why he won't play!!

EPISODE # 10: JONATHAN(Dec. 02, 1956):

A young man who's a lot closer to his father than
most, thinks that his father's new wife killed him!

Starrring Nancy Culp(The Beverly Hillbillies, The Bob
Cummings Show)! Although she is listed, Nancy is not
actually in this at all!!! B+

EPISODE # 11: THE BETTER BARGAIN(Dec. 09, 1956):

A man suspecting his wife of running around on
him hires a PI to find out, then a hit man to
stop it!

A writer sends a manuscript to a publisher and to
her surprise he shows up to discuss it! A great little
tale here!

Another writer, another case of what's really going
on, this time with the neighbors! This has a weird
ending! A

A man with a furniture manufacturing company who
designs furniture has a tiff with the owner and
comes up with a plan to take over the company!

Stood Still[1953], World Without End, Another World,
Mystery Is My Business[as Ellery Queen])! A

EPISODE # 15: CRACKPOT(Jan. 06, 1957):

Newlyweds have a car trouble on the way to their
honeymoon and a man stops by to help out! When he
gets his suit stained he goes ballistic! Later that
same day he shows up at the smame hotel as their at!
Is he stalking them?

EPISODE # 16: NIGHTMARE IN 4-D(Jan. 13, 1957):

A married man tries to be a good samaritan for a
pretty little thing that lives down the hall from
her! Things go pretty badly!

EPISODE # 17: MY BROTHER, RICHARD(Jan. 20, 1957):

Welp, this one is pretty interesting! A man is running
for office and his brother pulls off what he thinks is
a sure fire way for his brother to win his election!

Starring here is Inger Stevens(The Farmer's Daughter)! A

EPISODE # 18: THE MANACLED(Jan. 27, 1957):

A cop is transferring an inmate to prison! The prisoner
is trying to talk the cop into letting him go in return
for half the money he stole($50,000)

Starring Gary Merrill(Mysterious Island, Young Dr.
Killdare)! B+

EPISODE # 19: A BOTTLE OF WINE(Feb. 03, 1957):

A judge is loosing his wife to a much younger man!
He hatches a plan to get his revenge, but it doesn't
go quite as planned!

EPISODE # 20: MALICE DOMESTIC(Feb. 10, 1957):

A man is poisoned and the number one suspect is
his wife!!

A man who is thrown in jail is way too sure of
himself and it dooms him!

This is a really serious episode with no joking
around, not even by Alfred!

EPISODE # 22: THE END OF INDIAN SUMMER(Feb. 24, 1957):

An insurance man is in big trouble after paying
out $50,000 to a claimant! His boss has discovered
that she had done the same thing only a couple of
years prior and suspects a scam! He gets sent out
to prove fraud!

This stars James Gleason(Arsonic And Old Lace,
Meet John Doe)! A

EPISODE # 23: ONE FOR THE ROAD(Mar. 03, 1957):

A man is playing both ends between the middle in
that he has a wife and a girlfriend! This soon comes
to light when the wife finds out and he's in deep
trouble!!

A down and out actor goes to a writer to try
to get a part in his new play! Not exactly a
smooth transaction!

As you can probably guess by the title, a certain
Count Victor Mattoni has been found dead by the

good Inspector Davidson trying to make sense of
the whole sordid affair!

capsule holder in the form of a famous local

one stone!

A deadbeat man goes to his father for "a loan"
so's he can court a saloon girl! The dad says
no and the deadbeat doesn't handle the rejection
well!

EPISODE # 37: THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MR. WEEMS(June 09, 1957):

This is a pretty dark episode: A group owning a
cemetary are having problems selling their plots!
They come up with a plan to buy off the sickly
Mr. Weims by giving him $50 a month til he passes
away in return for promising to reside at their
cemetary when he dies!

A spoiled rich girl is being a terror to those
who actually care about her! It all comes back
to bite her in the ass!!

There's been an escape from the local mental hospital

Truly a classic, this long-running TV series(1955-65)
was way ahead of its time. Its host, Alfred Hitchcock
presented stories in this weekly, half-hour dramatic/
suspense anthology that virtually no other program
would even dream of presenting. Like many of Hitch's
films, the stories presented frequently dealt with
murder and deception, sometimes on a humerous level.
Anyone expecting the show to end with the conventional
happy ending would fare better to tune into another
television program. In addition to hosting the show,
Hitchcock directed several episodes of the series
