EPISODE # 3: APPOINTMENT AT ELEVEN(Oct. 11, 1959):

A man who's father has run off with a pretty blonde
swears vengence on the man!

This is the worst episode of AHP that I have
watched to date!!

EPISODE # 4: COYOTE MOON(Oct. 18, 1959):

A man picks up a pretty hitchhiker, and gets a
lot more than he bargains for!!

playing the same character across three different TV
series: Uncle Ben in Petticoat Junction, Green Acres
& The Beverly Hillbillies!, also he was in The Over-
The-Hill Gang & The Over-The-Hill Gang Returns, Hopalong

EPISODE # 5: NO PAIN(Oct. 25, 1959):

A man who's in an iron lung knows his wife is less
than faithful! But it doesn't seem to bother him as
he knows the end is near!

EPISODE # 6: ANNIVERSARY GIFT(Nov. 01, 1959):

A henpecked husband married to a well off woman is having
thoughts about how to get out of the marriage!

Jackie Coogan(The Addams Family, The Kid)! And Michael J.

A man sends another man out to pay off another man!
But if the second man can eliminate the third man,
he gets to keep said money!!

EPISODE # 8: THE BLESSINGTON METHOD(Nov. 15, 1959):

Set WAAAAAAAYYYY in the future(1980! LOL)! This is
in a way a forrunner of Logan's Run! That is in
that getting old is not fashionable!

This is spooky how this is mimicking what we are
going through now in 2020!!

Returning here are Henry Jones and Dick York! A-

EPISODE # 9: DEAD WEIGHT(Nov. 22, 1959):

A man and woman are accosted at a popular lover's
hangout! The man turns the tables on the assailant
but then doesn't know what to do with him because
he doesn't want the publicity worrying about what
his wife would do!!

Starring here are Joseph Cotten(The Third Man, Citizen
Cane) & Julie Adams(Forbidden Planet)! A

EPISODE # 10: SPECIAL DELIVERY(Nov. 29, 1959):

A woman who is having an affair with another woman's
husband tries to blackmail her into letting him get
a divorce! Many twists here!

EPISODE # 11: ROAD HOG(Dec. 06, 1959):

A man's son gets gored by a bull and the family
tries to rush him to the doctor! Unfortunately
there's a very mean dude on the road going slow
and refusing to let them pass!

A protoge has his mentor show him the most elite
eating place in town!

A couple who are out in the jungle are fighting some
sort of fever! What's the cure?

A man is suspected of murder - but there are many
holes in the whole thing!

A man who never stands out decided to embezzled money
from the bank he worked at!

EPISODE # 20: THE DAY OF THE BULLET(Feb. 14, 1960):

A couple of kids witness a couple of thugs beat up on
a man! They try to tell the cops, and one of the kids'
father! Things don't go quite as the kids figured on!

EPISODE # 21: HITCH HIKE(Feb. 21, 1960):

A man and his neice are travelling to their home when
a hitchhciker who acts like he's threatening the man!!

Suzanne Pleshette(The Birds, Spirited Away, The Bob Newhart
show[1972], Support Your Local Sheriff) stars along with
returning John McIntire and Robert Morse return! B

EPISODE # 22: ACROSS THE THRESHOLD(Feb. 28, 1960):

An elderly woman who's not quite all there decides that
her late husband must be lonely without her so she plans
to meet him in the great beyond!

EPISODE # 23: CRAIG'S WILL(Mar. 06, 1960):

Craig passes away and only has one heir, Thomas! Only
he doesn't get any of the old man's riches, it all goes
to the dogs!

Dick Van Dyke(The Dick Van Dyke Show, Mary Poppins,
Diagnosis Murder, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) stars here! A

EPISODE # 24: MADAME MYSTERY(Mar. 27, 1960)

A "big time PR man for a major motion picture company"
(his words, not mine) goes to his neighbor to help with
promoting a picture with an actess who had a boating
accident that killed her and a big time boatman!

EPISODE # 25: THE LITTLE MAN WHO WAS THERE(Apr. 03, 1960):

Two men show up in a town and reform it to brotherly
love! Along came a spide - ooops, wrong story! Along
came a man in black and proceeds to make it all fall
apart!

EPISODE # 26: MOTHER, MAY I GO OUT TO SWIM?(Apr. 10, 1960):

A mama's boy(Shatner) lives with his mother saying that
he doesn't want to leave her alone after her husband has
died! He meets a very pretty salesgirl at a photo shop
and quickly falls head over heels for her. The problem,
mama seems to be getting in the way of the romance!

EPISODE # 27: THE CUCKOO CLOCK(Apr. 17, 1960):

A newly widowed woman goes up to her cabin to get
it in order for a sale! While heading up there, she
here's of a breakout at the local asylum, but she
is sure she will be fine! What do you think?!

Patricia Hitchcock returns! A

EPISODE # 28: FOURTY DETECTIVES LATER(Apr. 24, 1959):

A man is trying to find the killer of his wife
that happend 10 years prior! He's been going from
one detective to another trying to find the man!

Definitely done in the film noir method!

EPISODE # 29: THE HERO(May 01, 1960):

A man taking a voyage to South Africa runs into
a man who he thinks is someone he has known in
the past! And not in a friendly way!!

A man who lost his wife in a fire is having problems
sleeping! He goes to a psychiatrist to try to get some
help! But is he really helping him out?!

Another man cheating on his wife, this time
the man in question is a lawyer! He's trying
a man for hit and run and things are going
swimmingly until the offended wife shows up
in court!

EPISODE # 32: ONE GRAVE TOO MANY(May 22, 1960):

A man is out of work and he and his wife are in
financial straights! He goes for a loan from a
loan company. He doesn't have any luck there
But he runs into "luck" when a man has a heart
attack right in front of him, and he has a lot
of money! But is he really dead??

EPISODE # 33: PARTY LINE(May 29, 1960):

A woman with a party line finds out that she was
part of the cause of man's wife's death!

EPISODE # 34: CELL 227(June 05, 1960):

A death row inmate has a lawyer who's trying to get
stay of execution! Only problem is that the inmate
doesn't want it!!

A well to do woman gets mistaken for a new governess
For another well-to-do family! This is pretty fun!

A man goes into a bank to apply for a line of credit!
He then proceeds to talk about nothing but a bank heist
from a few years back! The man convicted of the crime
breaks out of jail and gets killed! What's the connection?

EPISODE # 37: ESCAPE TO SONOITA(June 26, 1960):

Two dudes break down in the desert in an old tanker
truck and think they're doomed when a speeding car
comes up and they're saved! Welp, not exactly, they're
kidnappers and they steal the truck and leave them
to die! This has a great ending!!

Truly a classic, this long-running TV series(1955-65)
was way ahead of its time. Its host, Alfred Hitchcock
presented stories in this weekly, half-hour dramatic/
suspense anthology that virtually no other program
would even dream of presenting. Like many of Hitch's
films, the stories presented frequently dealt with
murder and deception, sometimes on a humerous level.
Anyone expecting the show to end with the conventional
happy ending would fare better to tune into another
television program. In addition to hosting the show,
Hitchcock directed several episodes of the series
