This season (6) is not available in the US, so I took a
chance and ordered a region 2 set! It works fine in my
HP computer!

EPISODE # 1: MRS. BIXBY AND THE COLONEL'S COAT(Sept. 27, 1960):

Audrey plays a woman who goes twice a year to see her
only relative, an aunt! But is she really!!!

Starring in this is Audrey Meadows(The Honeymooners, That
Touch Of Mink), Sally Hughes(The Adventures Of Ozzie
And Harriet)! A-

EPISODE # 2: THE DOUBTFUL DOCTOR(Oct. 04, 1960):

A man and his wife have a tiff and he storms out the door!
Later, he wakes up in his old apartment and, well watch it!
It's a great episode!!!

NOtebook, Payton Place)!! A+

EPISODE # 3: VERY MORAL THEFT(Oct. 11, 1960):

A man in need of money gets it from his "girlfriend"
then gets the movey he owes her in a very uncool way!!

EPISODE # 4: THE CONTEST FOR AARON GOLD(Oct. 18, 1960):

This is really a silly episode! There's a camp where the
boys learn swimming and arts! There's a big stink over
one of the boys that enjoys pottery more than swimming!

EPISODE # 5: THE FIVE-FORTY-EIGHT(Oct. 25, 1960):

An unstable woman stalks a man who she blames for all
her misfortunes!!

A young lady has been having correspondence with a man
in prison who has escaped! He goes to find the girl but
only finds her aunt!!

EPISODE # 7: OUTLAW IN TOWN(Nov. 15, 1960):

Stop me if you've heard this before: I man walks into
a bar and makes a lot of enemies real quick!!

This is very light-hearted!

TOS episode "Space Seed", Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan),
Walter Matthau and David White return! A+

EPISODE # 8: O YOUTH AND BEAUTY!(Nov. 22, 1960):

A man who was one time a great athlete is having trouble
dealing with getting older!!!

EPISODE # 9: THE MONEY(Nov. 29, 1960):

As the title says, it's all about a greedy woman pushing a
dude to getting it the easy way!

A man is married to the perfect wife! It drives him
crazy!!!

EPISODE # 11: THE MAN WITH TWO FACES(Dec. 13, 1960):

A woman gets mugged and is asked to look through the
mugs shots at the police department! While looking through
the pictures, she recognizes not only the mugger, but
someone else as well!!!

EPISODE # 12: THE BABY-BLUE EXPRESSION(Dec. 20, 1960):

A man makes plans with his bosses wife to kill her
husband!!!

Starring Sarah Marshall(Star Trek: TOS episode "The Deadly

EPISODE # 13: THE MAN WHO FOUND THE MONEY(Dec. 27, 1960)

After losing money at a Las Vegas casino, a man finds a
clip of money, 92 thousand dollars to be exact!! He tries
to do the right thing, buts the money in a lock box at a
bank, takes out an ad looking for the owner, then goes to
the police to report what happened! Things go swimmingly
for him, ok, may not so much! B+

R.G. Armstrong(Dick Tracy[1990], THE Cat)! B+

EPISODE # 14: THE CHANGING HEART(Jan. 03, 1961):

A man goes into a watch shop to get his watch fixed where
he finds a beautiful girl and wants to get married to her!
Her grandfather is totally against the whole thing!!

I could see the ending coming from the minute the girl
was shown!!

Very similar to Star Trek: TOS' episode "What Are Little
Girls Made Of"!!

EPISODE # 15: SUMMER SHADE(Jan. 10, 1961):

A couple with a young daughter(9) move into an old house
and she quickly makes a new friend! Only problem is, she's
the only one who can see her!!

This is set in Salem, Mass.!!!!

Murder She Wrote), James Franciscus(Mr. Novak, Longstreet,
Jonathan Livingston Seagull), Veronica Cartwright(Angela's

EPISODE # 16: A CRIME FOR MOTHERS(Jan. 24, 1961):

A couple with an "adopted" daughter get surprised by a
visit from her real mother!!

A great ending here!!!

EPISODE # 17: THE LAST ESCAPE(Jan. 31, 1961):

An escape artist(Wynn) is not a nice man and his wife
ges knocked around by him one too many times!

EPISODE # 18: THE GREATEST MONSTER OF THEM ALL(Feb. 14, 1961):

Some studio men want to make a cheap monster film and
go after an old actor who's famous for monster movies!
Things don't go qite the way they were hoping for!!

Sam Jaffe(Ben Casey, The Day The Earth Stood Still) stars
here!! B+

EPISODE # 19: THE LANDLADY(Feb. 21, 1961):

A man on his way to fill a position at a bank gets a
room with a woman who, on the surface seems a wonderful
lady! But there's something a little off and the man
gets suspicious when he sees a couple of names on the
register that rings a bell with him!

Think Arsonic and Old Lace!!

EPISODE # 20: THE THROWBACK(Feb. 28, 1961):

A man is in love with a woman who's seeing another, older
man who decides that they should settle the situation by
fistifufs! The older gent has a few tricks up his sleeve!

Maverick[movie]), Murray Mathewon(Banacek)! B

EPISODE # 21: THE KISS-OFF(Mar. 07, 1961):

A ex-con in disguise robs a place but leaves his key to his
place buy mistake!

EPISODE # 22: THE HORSEPLAYER(Mar. 14, 1961):

A man who's had no luck at the races decides to try to change
his luck by going to church and praying for winners!!

Claude Rains returns along with a very recongnizable
character actor Percy Helton! A-

EPISODE # 23: INCIDENT IN A SMALL JAIL(Mar. 21, 1961):

A man gets stopped by a cop in a small town for jaywalking
and he tries to buy the cop off with a bribe which lands
him in jail, along with a murderer!!!! Troubles escalate
when a lynch mob forms!

Starring John Fielder(Star Trek: TOS episode "Wolf In
The Fold", better known as the voice of Piglet in most
incarnations of the Winnie The Pooh shows! A

EPISODE # 24: A WOMAN'S HELP(Mar. 28, 1961)

A demanding and sickly woman gets a nurse to help her
out with the help of her husbaand! Soon the husband and
nurse find themsleves attracted to each other! Seems to be only one way out of the whole thing!!

EPISODE # 25: MUSEUM PIECE(Apr. 04, 1961):

A man, while out chasing a rabbit, is accosted by the owner
of the barn he enters! They scuffle, the other dude graba a
pitchfork and while the man is falling back his gun goes off
and kills the other one! Found guilty, he withers away and
dies! His father builds a museum in his honor!!

EPISODE # 26: COMING, MAMA(Apr. 11, 1961):

A woman wants to marry a man who says he wants to do it
now or never! She has a mother who's a hypobondriac and
she's against the marriage, saying she'll cut her out of
her will if she does! The woman takes care of that problem
only to run into another!!!

An old man asks his secretary to marry him! Her boyfriend
tells her to do it, after all, just how long would they
have to wait!!! The old man gives her a pearl for their
wedding, and every anniversary thereafter!!

A man gets out of prison and looks up the gal that

A girl who's made fun of in school and feels that she
is a plain Jane decides to change her lot in life by

Another man cheating on his wife, this time

A man is tired of his wife and wants a divorce, but
she refuses! So he goes off and has a fun time in
Mexico! Still wanting the divorce he hires a detective
agency to spy on her to try to get something on her
that will allow him to file against her!

An author is throwing a party and his wife walks
in on him!!

I'm not sure how to dicribe this one!! It's about a DA
and his involvement with a local hood!

was way ahead of its time. Its host, Alfred Hitchcock
presented stories in this weekly, half-hour dramatic/
suspense anthology that virtually no other program
would even dream of presenting. Like many of Hitch's
films, the stories presented frequently dealt with
murder and deception, sometimes on a humerous level.
Anyone expecting the show to end with the conventional
happy ending would fare better to tune into another
television program. In addition to hosting the show,
Hitchcock directed several episodes of the series
