LOST IN SPACE SEASON 1
SEASON ONE:
For supposedly intelligent people, the Robinsons along
with Don, are alarmingly unaware of Dr. Smith's evil!
There are many audio drop outs in this set!
EPISODE # 0: UNAIRED PILOT: NO PLACE TO HIDE(Sept. 08, 1965)
(IMDb.com has an air date for this, even though it was
never aired!!!!!):
This was the original idea for the show, without the help
of Dr. Smith!!!
Ths beginning is nearly identical to episode one,
save, again, Dr. Smith! Also missing is the robot!
Also of note, this is in black and white!
In this, the spaceshiip(The Jupiter 12) crash lands
on a planet after encountering the astroid shower
that is still represtented in the fianl episode one
presentation! On said planet, they encounter a race
of giants who the team must survive! A
EPISODE # 1: THE RELUCTANT STOWAWAY(Sept. 15, 1965):
This first episode was actually very good, with a ot of drama
and some decent humor!! Everyone over the age of 50 knows the
story of how the Robinson family, along with Pilot Major
Don West, were the first family to go out to space
to find out of a planet in the Alpha Centauri system would
be a possible sollution to the population problems on Earth!
All was a go, except the fact that a certain Dr. Smith
got aboard the ship and sabbotaged the ship and the Robot
on board!
While this episode showed great possibilities for the
series to be a dramatic successs, Dr. Smith turned out
to be so popular(God only knows why), that they gave
him permanent status in the series and turned it to
a basic comedy! This episode shows, though, how good
a series it could have been! A
EPISODE # 2: THE DERELICT(Sept. 22, 1965):
Marion goes out to save John from floating away when his
safety line snaps when a comett comes right at the ship!!
After all that's resolved, they crew comes upon a giant
ship!!
Oh, and Smith is still trying to get the robot to work

brain!! B-

with the others as extras! Even the Robot is secondary
to him!! Anyway, in this one Robinson finally gets fed
up with his antics a tells him off, and Smith decides
it's time for him to leave the others! Will, being the
kindhearted idiot he is, goes out after him and together

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Disc 8:
CBS NETWORK PRESENTATION:
This was a CBS ploy to get advertisers to invest in the
show!
UNAIRED PILOT:
"No Place To Hide"
From a reviewer at IMDb.com:
Watched this show growing up together with flipper and other
great classics. Lots of fun to watch again, a lot of moral
stories weaved into the show episodes. Remakes have never
touched it not even the new Netflix version. Seems like to
sell a show these days it needs to be more violent with no
humor whatsoever with kids with serious attitudes! - jantaylor-54679
