OUTER LIMITS, THE - SEASON 2(1964)
The complete season 2, though abbriviated! It was cut
short due to the change of days and time slot!!
EPISODE # 01: SOLDIER(Sept. 19, 1964):
This first episode of season 2 stars Michael Ansara(Star
Trek TOS episode "Day Of The Dove", DS9 episodes "Blood
Oath" & "The Muse", VOY episode "Flashback", Babylon 5
episode "The Geometry Of Shadows", Broken Arrow, Abbot
And Costello Meet The Mummy, Harum Scarum), Tim O'Connor
(Buck Rogers), Lloyd Nolan(Julia)!
Two waring enemies get transported to the past(1964)! A-
EPISODE # 02: COLD HANDS, WARM HEART(Sept. 26, 1964):

The Tek movies & series, 3rd Rock From The Sun, T.J. Hooker),

just not himself!!! A
EPISODE # 03: BEHOLD ECK!(Oct. 03, 1964):
Starring: Parley Baer(The Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet)!!
An optician has descovered a two dimensional being in his
office when he puts on a special pair of glasses! No one
believes him except those who also had those glasses!! B+

Starring: James Doohan(Star Trek TOS)! Also here is Skip
Homeier(Star Trek TOS episodes "Patterns Of Force" & "The
Way To Eden")!
A scientist is experimenting on himself to expand his
mental copasities with dier results!! A-
EPISODE # 05: DEMON WITH A GLASS HAND(Oct. 17, 1964):
Starring Robert Culp(I Spy, Greatest American Hero) and
Arlene Martel(Star Trek TOS episode "Amok Time")!
Culp plays visitor from the future with a mission to
save future humanity! This is quite good!! A
EPISODE # 06: CRY OF SILENCE(Oct. 24, 1964):
Eddie Albert(Green Acres) stars!!
Albert and his wife are movieng from the big city
to the great outdoors, but there's a force out there
trying to stop them! The humor here, which is totally
unintentional, is the only reason to continue to watch
this! Otherwise this is pretty dumb!! C-
EPISODE # 07: INVISIBLE ENEMY, THE(Oct. 31, 1964):
Adam West(Batman), Ted Knight(The Mary Tyler Moore
Show) & Rudy Solari(Star Trek TOS episode "The Paradise
Syndrome") star here!!
A couple of gents from Earth land on Mars and are not
heard from again! Three years later, a second mission is
sent to find out what happened! While the sfx on this
is less than stellar, the story is good and the acting
pretty decent! A
EPISODE # 08: WOLF 359(Nov. 07, 1964):
Starring in this episode is Patrick O'Neil(Perry Mason
Returns, Under Seige, Perry Mason: The Case Of The
Skin-Deep Scandal, Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, Fernwood

Starring: Leonard Nimoy(Star Trek, Mission: Impossible),
John Hoyt(Star Trek TOS episode "The Cage"), Marianna

No, not the great Isaac Asimov's tale! This one is about
a man who has been killed, and the robot he created is
accused of the deed!! A-
EPISODE # 10: THE INHERITORS, PART I(Nov. 21, 1964):
This stars the great James Shegita(Flower Drum Song,

Godfather), Dabbs Greer(Little House On The Prairie,
Gunsmoke), Steve Ihnat(Star Trek TOS episode "Whom
Gods Destroy"), Ivan Dixon(Hogan's Heroes), !

all develope amazing mental powers, but they also controlled
by some aliens!! A
EPISODE # 11: THE INHERITORS, PART II(Nov. 28, 1964):
Continued from the previous episode! An absolutely
excellent episode!! A+

Story: A man working on a formula that will help create
a laser ray! To help him out, an alien shows up and trades
him his help for his emotions!! B+
EPISODE # 13: DUPLICATE MAN, THE(Dec. 19, 1964):
There are no known names here!!
A man has smuggled a ferocious alien to Earth and it's escaped
it's captivity! He clones another of himself to go track it down
and destroy it!! This seems to jump around out of sequence,
especially at the point where they say the Megazoid has escaped
and it attacks the duplicate!! B
EPISODE # 14: COUNTERWEIGHT(dec. 26, 1964):
Starring: Michael Constantine(Room 222, My Big Fat Greek
Wedding)!
A test run for a group of 6 men and 2 women to see if
they can survive a long space mission taxes their nerves
and then - - - -! B+
EPISODE # 15: BRAIN OF COLONEL BARHAM, THE(Jan. 02, 1965):
Grant Williams(Hawaiian Eye) stars in this!
So, in a similar vien as "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", this
one is about a scientist who's body is giving out on him and
the military is in need of someone(or something) to go on a
space mission that is vital to the powers that be!! The solution:
take the brain out of the scientist and put it in a computeer! A-
EPISODE # 16: THE PREMONITION(Jan. 09, 1965):
No name actors in this one!

try to figure out how and why, and how to save their daughter
from certain death! B
EPISODE # 17: THE PROBE(Jan. 16, 1965):
The last episode of the series!
Again no name players here!
The crew of a plane gets caught in a hurricane and winds
up, well, they don't know where!!! A-
There's several specials in this set, most worth watching!!
From a reviewer at IMDb.com:
There are some very well constructed stories in this
series and they are well worth looking at. - pauldeadman
