THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN SEASON 3 PAGE

THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN SEASON 3

Season 3 of one of the most well known television series out of
the seventies, The Six Million Dollar Man!! Pilot for NASA, bad
accident, rebuilt, better, stronger, faster! Starring Lee Majors
and Richard Anderson(who doesn't appear in the first pilot),
this is about his exploits after the accident!!!

What you may not know, however, is that this show is based
on a true story!!!!! And that the crash scene used in the series
is the actual crash that this is based on!!!

EPISODE # 1: THE RETURN OF THE BIONIC WOMAN PT. 1(Sept. 14, 1975):

Unless you can't read(and I would wonder why you're here) you
already know the basis for this one!! Jaime returns as The Bionic
Woman, but there's a big problem for Steve: she has no memory
of him at all!! Considering she was dead in the last episode that
she was in, this is amazing that she's here at all!! Anyway, Steve is
injured on a mission and while Oscar and co. take him in to have
repairs made, he sees her, also in the hospital! Later he runs
into her again and she just looks at him like he's nuts, cause she
has no idea who he is! While this really doesn't make much sense
in a logical way, the whole episode here is story driven, and the
biggest fear that most of the people concerned have is that if
Jaime recovers her missing memory, that it could harm her
physically!! Really a pretty dumb concept!! A-

EPISODE # 2: THE RETURN OF THE BIONIC WOMAN PT. 2(Sept. 21, 1975):

Obviously a continuation from the last episode, in this
Steve takes Jaime back to their home town where she
gets more and more flashbacks!!

After much haggling, Oscar sends Steve and Jaime on an
assignment, where she continues to get flashbacks that
hinder the job!!

Jaime as a character was so popular that they decided to
bring her back! This is the forerunner of her own series!
I'm not sure, but I believe that the producers wanted her
to have her own series, but to be tied up with Steve Austin
would have been too cumbersome, so they decided to wipe
her memory which made it easier to have her in her own
series without Lee Majors!! Just a theory which I've done
some research on but can't verify!!

All the principals from the last episode are here again!!! A-

EPISODE # 3: THE PRICE OF LIBERTY(Sept. 28, 1975):

Filmed during the time of the Bicentennial parade that
toured the country with the Liberty Bell, Declaration Of
Independence and several other historical pieces!! This
one has thieves stealing the Liberty Bell and Steve getting
into the middle of the whole thing!!

Guest starring Chuck Connors(The Rifleman)!! A

EPISODE # 4: THE SONG AND DANCE SPY(Oct. 5, 1975):

Steve meets up with an old friend of his who's a well known
singer! Oscar informs him that he's also a courier for a spy
ring!! This puts Steve in an awkward position!!

Guest starring half of Sonny and Cher, Sonny Bono!!

Sonny actually sings a couple of songs in this!! A

EPISODE # 5: THE WOLF BOY(Oct. 12, 1975):

In Japan, there's a spotting of a "wolf boy" that a man asks
an old friend of Steve's, Koruda, to see if he can track down and
find out who/what he/she/it is!! Everything is not as it seems though,
for the man who sent out Koruda is actually not wanting this
wolf boy to ever return!!

second season episode "The Last Kamikaze"! Also here is

War Of The Worlds)!! B

EPISODE # 6: THE DEADLY TEST(Oct. 19, 1975):

A prince is visiting the US to improve his flying skills, and Steve
ends up being the boss, as the Colonel who would normally be
in charge is taking a fishing vacation and Steve is fulfilling his
yearly obligations for his Air Force Reserve status!! The whole
story revolves around those factions who want the Prince to
not return from the US, as the Prince's Uncle, who's the ruler
of their nation, is in bad health and not expected to last much
longer, which will put the Prince on the throne!!

Guest starring Eirk Estrada(CHiPs)! Also guesting in this is
Tim O'Connor(Buck Rogers[TV])!! A

EPISODE # 7: TARGET IN THE SKY(Oct. 26, 1975):

A highly classified scientific device is spotted high in
the forest in California and an agent has gone missing
while researching it! So now it's up to Steve to find out
if the devide is really there and what happened to the
other agent!

& 2, Wagon Train), Rafer Johnson(Track and Field star[decahalon
1960 Olympics Gold Medal], License To Kill) & Ivor Francis(The
World's Greatest Athlete"! A

giving his friend all kinds of grief!!

(Running back for the Miami Dolphins & New York Giants[from
1968-1979]) & Dick Butkus(Lineman for the Chicago Bears[1965-
1973])!!!! Also guesting here is Carl Weathers(Predator, Rocky,

From a reviewer at IMDb.com:

One thing that my sister pointed out to me at the time (she
is a few years older than I) is "If Steve Austin only has one
bionic arm, why doesn't he rip his other arm off whenever
he breaks out of handcuffs?" It seems obvious now as an
adult but, they managed to slip that one past this eight year
old kid!

Oh and who didn't want to be Steve Austin/ Lee Majors back
then? Jamie Sommers on screen (I had a major crush) and
Farrah Fawcett at home! What a lucky guy! And whose idea
was it to give Farrah's character on the show a name like
Major Kelly Wood- major wood- I am sure!

My favourite episodes have to be any with Jamie Sommers.
It was even better when she got her own spin-off show.
Also the few show with Andre the Giant. The ones that
freaked me out as a kid was with John Saxon's character
Major Frederick Sloan as a robot and his face falls off!

We never missed an episode! I would love to see these in
re-runs. Is there any talk of getting this show back on the
air? - yoredm
