SLIDERS SEASONS 1 & 2
SEASON ONE:
EPISODE # 1: PILOT(Mar. 22, 1995):
Just as an aside here, having nothing to do with the show
itself, this packaging of Seasons 1 & 2 is horrible, though
it looks cool! Way to easy to scratch the DVDs!!
This shows how Quinn came up with the device that sends
him and two collegues, along with a taxi driverm, into
a parallel world! This was, I believe, shown as a movie
when first aired!
The cast: Jerry O'Connell(as Quinn), John Rhys-Davies
(as Proffesor Maximillian Arturo), Clevant Derricks(as
Rembrandt (Crying Man) Brown) & Sabrina Lloyd(as Wade
Wells)! Jerry and John really carry this show, and when
they both eventually leave the show, it dies!
But for the time being, this is a great start to a great
two and a half season!! A
EPISODE # 2: FEVER(Mar. 29, 1995):
The group land on an Earth that's undergoing a epidemic
that Quinn's doppleganger is the reason for!!! A-
EPISODE # 3: LAST DAYS(Apr. 05, 1995):
The Earth this time: one that has an astroid headed
right toward it!!! A
EPISODE # 4: THE PRINCE OF WAILS(Apr. 12, 1995):
The group is not on an Earth where the Revolutionists lost
thw Revolutiionary war!! While all of these episodes have
been good, this so far is the best episode so far! A
EPISODE # 5: SUMMER OF LOVE(Apr. 19, 1995):
One this world, the love revolution of the 60s is still
going strong!! Unfortunately, the group get split up, with
Wade and Crying Man in the hippie world in a commune, and
Quinn and Max in downtown San Francisco! In this world,
Rembrandt is dead and he has a twin! A
EPISODE # 6: EGGHEADS(Apr. 26, 1995):
This Earth: being a smarty pants isn't a dig!!! B+
EPISODE # 7: THE WEAKER SEX(May 03, 1995):
Kinda contrived story on a planet run by women! B+
EPISODE # 8: THE KING IS BACK(May 10, 1995):
And now we have "The Crying Man" planet!! B+
EPISODE # 9: LUCK OF THE DRAW(May 17, 1995):
On a Utopian Earth, Wade wins the lottery by withdrawing
money! But wait, there's a catch!!!
A very disturbing episode!! B
SEASON TWO:
EPISODE # 1: INTO THE MYSTIC(May 01, 1996):
We are now on a sorcerer Earth! Many references to
The Wizard Of Oz!!! A
EPISODE # 2: LOVE GODS(May 08, 1996):
The group land on an Earth where all the men had a
virus that killed most of them! A
EPISODE # 3: GILLIAN OF THE SPIRITS(Mar. 15, 1996):
The group land on an anti-technology Earth, but there
were issues and Quinn only partly made it!!!! B+
EPISODE # 4: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE WEALTHY(Mar. 22, 1996):
Two visitors to the planet(?) one's a dog and the other a,
welp, I have no idea!!! B
EPISODE # 5: EL SID(Mar. 29, 1996):
The group gets transported to the prison Earth(San Francisco)
along with a couple of minor thugs where a totally distructive
earthquake is about to hit!! B+
EPISODE # 6: TIME AGAIN AND WORLD(Apr. 05, 1996):
On "J EdHoover's world this time, where he was made president
after JFK's assassination! He declared martial law, supressed
any growth or rights that we take for granted!! Another
excellent episode!! A
EPISODE # 7: IN DINO VERITAS(Apr. 26, 1996):
A dude calling himself the Keeper(duh) is going around the
universe gathering two of each species he comes across!!
This guest stars Jack Keher(Babylon 5 episode "Comes The
Inquisitor")!!! A
EPISODE # 8: POST TRAUMATIC SLIDE SYNDROME(May 03, 1996):
The crew get back home at last! But the audience knows
something the travellers don't!!
This starts the unraveelling of the team, though not
noticable for another several episodes! B
EPISODE # 9: OBSESSION(May 24, 1996):
This is pretty wierd, even for this show! The group lands
on an Earth that relies on oracles to lead their country!
Guest starring here: Issic Hayes(Famous for his singing)!! B+
EPISODE # 10: GREATFELLAS(May 31, 1996):
The group are now on an underworld Earth!!!
Interestingly here is that Penny is "growning in all the wrong
places" is addressed!!
Guesting here is Mel Torme(THE Mel Torme)!! A
EPISODE # 11: THE YOUNG AND THE RELENTLESS(June 07, 1996):
On an Earth that the young rule, Quinn's doppleganger has
drowned and he take his place! People over 30 are retired
and people can vote at the age of - wait for it - 9!!!! And
Howard Stern is president!!
Guesting here is Jerry's brother Charlie returns! A
EPISODE # 12: INVASION(June 28, 1996):
The group's in deep doodoo this time, as they run across
aliens who they thought were invading the Earth that they
transported to and shot down one of their ships!! The aliens,
called Kromags, follow them after they tried to escape to
the next Earth! C
EPISODE # 13: AS TIME GOES BY(July 12, 1996):
The crew wind u on an Earth where the USA doesn't exist
but Mexico controls all of North America except for Canada!!
Later that same episode, Quinn tries to help an old girlfriend,
and then on the next slide, they wind up in San Quintin for
murder and time is going backwards!!
Guest starring a returning Chrlie O'Connell! B

From a reviewer at IMDb.com:
This show was great. After John Rhys Davies left the show
(complaining that the scripts were starting to get too stupid,
which they were) it was still pretty OK. When Wade and O'Connell
left the show became total garbage. Nothing on Crying Man, he
was always very good, but the stories became much too lazy
and stupid (very bad writing) and Quinn's brother was
awful. - gregberne11
