SPACE ABOVE AND BEYOND - THE COMPLETE SERIES(1975)
Don't let the title of the series fool you !!!
This is nothing more than a 23 episode war story that has
no resolution! I watched the whole thing but accidently
erased the whole thing, so I need to re-do it, but certainly
in no hurry!
EPISODE 1: PILOT(Oct. 3, 1983):
The people of Earth are certain that they are alone in the
universe, until two of their outposts get destroyed! B-

West goes AWOL searching for his girlfriend and instead finds,
you guessed it, THE FARTHEST MAN FROM HOME!! B-

More depressing than most! D-
EPISODE 12: WHO MONITORS THE BIRDS?(Oct. 3, 1983):

And then there were two! D-
From a reviewer at IMDb.com:
I remember watching this in the 70s on a cold day, and I was
captivated by the spaceships and wanted a model ship but couldn't
afford it and there was no internet to purchase it from.
Anyway, I always wondered about the uniforms. What did they
wear for pyjamas? Or were they wearing pyjamas as an in-joke?
Who were the cooks, the tradies, the IT support, the HR team
in Space: 1999?
I'd love for a reboot of Space:1999 with acclaimed British
actor Danny Dyer. - safenoe
