STARGATE - ATLANTIS SEASON 5(2004)
Now on to the fifth and final season, so far,
there's been little change, but last season had
several excellent episodes! It gives me hope for
this last season!!
EPISODE 1: SEARCH AND RESCUE(July 11, 2008):
The group finally catch up with Michael and
formulate a plan to rescue Teyla! Oh, and
Rodney delivers a baby!
The ending of this really destroyed the
whole episode, and very possibly the whole
season!
Robert Picardo replaces Amanda Tapping as
commander of Atlantis! I REALLY hate his
character(but not him, as I have met him
and he's a wonderful person!)! C
EPISODE 2: THE SEED(July 18, 2008):
ANOTHER PLAGUE!!!!!! This time they bring
Dr. Beckett out of stasis to help find a
cure! C
EPISODE 3: BROKEN TIES(July 25, 2008):
Another story about Wraiths! As I've said in
other reviews, stick, horse, dead!! D
EPISODE 4: THE DAEDALLUS VARIATIONS(Aug. 01, 2008):
The crew wind up on the Daedallu, but not the
one their used to!! B
EPISODE 5: GHOST IN THE MACHINE(Aug. 15, 2008):
Apparently there are several beings stuck in
subspace???! And it's all about the Replicators! B-
EPISODE 6: THE SHRINE(Aug. 22, 2008):
Rodney gets affected by an illness that
has him regressing in his intellegence!
This is caused by a parasite!
David Hewlitt deserved an Emmy for his
performance here!!! A+
EPISODE 7: WHISPERS(Sept. 05, 2008):
Just another horror episode!!
It's nice to see Paul McGillion again!!
Nicole De Boer(Star Trek: DS9) guest stars here!! C-

More Wraith shit!! D
EPISODE 9: TRACKER(Sept. 19, 2008):
Someone kidnaps Dr. Keller! He is a runner
ala Ronan!!
Speaking of Ronan, it's humorous to see Rodney
and Ronan banter back and forth over Jennifer!!!
Take out the fucking Wraith and this would've
been a good episode! C
EPISODE 10: FIRST CONTACT(Sept. 26, 2008):
There's a new alien in town, and they come and
whisk away Rodney and Daniel!! C+
EPISODE 11: THE LOST TRIBE(Oct. 10, 2008):
And now we get back to straight war where
everyone is involved: the Wraiths, the Asgards
and the humans!! DD
EPISODE 12: OUTSIDERS(Oct. 17, 2008):
This gets more unwatchable by the episode! FFF
EPISODE 13: INQUESITION(Sept. 24, 2008):
The team gets an "invitation" to meet with
a coalition of planets! Turns out, they're
there to be put on trial for high crimes
against them!!
A flashback episode! C
EPISODE 14: THE PRODIGAL(Nov. 07, 2008):
Another takeover of Atlantis! You know, if you
can't come up with new stories, it's time to
call it a day!!! MORE FUCKING MICHAEL AND
THE WRAITH!!! C+
EPISODE 15: THE REMNANTS(Nov. 14, 2008):
Zelenka suggests acenning the ocean to see what's
there! It proceeds to give the crew hallucinations!
This is a great episode! A
EPISODE 16: BRAIN STORM(Nov. 21, 2008):
Rodney asks Jennifer to go with him to a
science conference on Earth!!
Guest starring: Stephen Hawking(?), Neil deGrasse
Tyson, Bill Nye! Gary Jones returns! C
EPISODE 17: INFECTION(Dec. 05, 2008):
Back to the fucking Wraith!!! FF
EPISODE 18: IDENTITY(Dec. 12, 2008):
ANOTHER episode about someone taking over
someone else's body!! C
EPISODE 19: VEGAS(Dec. 19, 2008):
An "alternate reality" episode, showing the
cast in various roles in and around Vegas
as detectives, doctors, and of course, a
Wraith!! And two in the same capacity as
in the usual shows!!
Fucking horrible music!!!!!
Guest starring: Frank Vincent & Steve Schrippa
(both from The Soppranos), Joel Goldsmith(Stargate
composer) & 2 pro poker players(I believe one is
Moneymaker, not sure who the other is!)!
This is really ALMOST great, I just Fucking
hate the Wraith!! C
EPISODE 20: ENEMY AT THE GATE(Jan. 09, 2009):
And of course, the final episode has to do with
what else, Wraith!
Once they got the Wraith story line going,
they just couldn't go on to something more
palatable!! Too bad, this could've been a
great series!
Last episode of the series! I believe they may
have expected another season or two, but not
sure! D

Stargate Command has sent a team to investigate the
Ancients' city of Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. The
team is led by Dr. Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson)
and Major John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan). While they
are exploring the Pegasus Galaxy, they accidentally
awakens the deadly Wraiths, a race of creatures that
survive by sucking the life out of human beings.
It's the second TV show of the franchise. It takes
the same concept, put new people in a team, and take
them to different worlds. At the start of season 4,
they decided to blow up the team by replacing Dr Weir
to energize the show. What it did instead was crumple
up any chemistry this show had. The producers probably
had good reasons to try but it sped up the show's demise
