STARGATE - UNIVERSE SEASON 1(2004)
Ok, I've now watched the first four episodes
of this series, having never seen any of it
before! OMG!! This is nothing more than a
horrible rendition of Lost In Space, only
without likeable characters and no humor!!
EPISODE 1: AIR PART 1(Oct. 09, 2009):
(PARTS 1 & 2 ARE PLAYED TOGETHER)!!
HUGE issue with this start to the series:
they have WWWWWWAAAAAYYYYYY
TOO MANY characters in the beginning!! No
way to get to know the ones who turn out
to be the main cast!!

The group wind up on a planet chosen by the
ship, looking for anything that could help
them out of their situation!! C
EPISODE 3: AIR PART 3(Oct. 09, 2009):
The group wind up on a planet chosen by the
ship, looking for anything that could help
them out of their situation!! B-
EPISODE 4: DARKNESS(Oct. 16, 2009):
Still trying to find a way to power up
the ship! C
EPISODE 5: LIGHT(Oct. 23, 2009):
The ship is headed toward a star!! They
decide on a lottery to decide who will
escape on the shuttle!
And we have another reference to Star Trek
in that the solution to grabbing the shuttle
is the same one used not only in Star Trek 4:
The Voyage Home, but also in the TOS episodes
"Assignment: Earth" & ""Return To Tomorrow"!! B
EPISODE 6: WATER(Oct. 30, 2009):
The Captain and another dude go down to a
planet to try to find some water! It appears
that someone is stealing water! Also, in that
vein, it appears that the crew brought back one
of the aliens from the original planet that they
were on! B
EPISODE 7: EARTH(Nov. 06, 2009):
The group finds out the SGC has a plan to
possibly get them back home!!
This show gets really confusing whith it's
swapping of of bodies!!
Richard Dean Anderson returns!! C
EPISODE 8: TIME(Nov. 13, 2009):
This truly doesn't make any sense at all! D-
EPISODE 9: LIFE(Nov. 20, 2009):
This series is really stupid! And it seems
to really jump around a lot!! C
EPISODE 10: JUSTICE(Dec. 04, 2009):
A very unliked character gets killed and the
perp frames the Captain!! This changes the
heiarchy of the ship!!! C+
EPISODE 11: SPACE(Apr. 02, 2010):
Welp, they finally come upon another ship
and they are promptly told to surrender!! C+
EPISODE 12: DIVIDED(Apr. 09, 2010):
So now with two very divided factions on
board, will the ship survive another attack
by the alien ship?
There really doesn't appear to have any good
guys here!! Not only that but the aliens are
back! C
EPISODE 13: FAITH(Apr. 16, 2010):
Another new planet that seems to be too good
to be true!!! B
EPISODE 14: HUMAN(Apr. 23, 2010):
Another episode that really doesn't flow
well!!

EPISODE 15: LOST(Apr. 30, 2010):
At least this one makes sense! Part of the
crew get separated from the rest of the team
and doen't know how to find their way back!! B
EPISODE 16: SABOTAGE(May 07, 2010):
So Camile changes places with a brilliant
scientist who happens to be a quadraplegic!
They need her to try to help with the ship!
She has a past history with Rush!!!
The three "lost" crewmembers make it back,
but no one knows how!! C
EPISODE 17: PAIN(May 14, 2010):
Some of the crew are having halucinations caused
by a tick like bug!! D
EPISODE 18: SUBVERSION(May 21, 2010):
This brings in the Lucian Alliance as a
BBG!!
The pluses: RDA & Michael Shanks!! C
EPISODE 19: INCURSION PART 1(June 04, 2010):
Continued fromt the previous episode, the
Lucian Alliance are now determined to take
over the Destiny! They just couldn't make a
series without war!!!
Guest starring: Last episode for any of the
main cast of SG1: RDA, MS or AT!!! D
EPISODE 20: INCURSION PART 2(June 11, 2010):
And of course, the final episode has to do with
what else, war!
Last episode of the season, again, in true Stargate
fashion, they leave this on a cliffhanger!! D---

The current IMDB rating for Stargate Universe is 7.6
& that is not reflective of, what is, one of the most
underrated sci-fi shows of all time.
I watched & enjoyed the original movie but couldn't get
into any of its spin-offs; they just weren't my bag.
I tried Stargate Universe because I noticed the lead
was Robert Carlyle; who is one of the best actors of
his generation. Trainspotting, The Full Monty, James
Bond... He's brilliant & I wasn't disap5grg]pointed.

Stargate Universe is engaging & accessible; it leads
you through a world of wonders with verve.
Well written & brilliantly acted.
Dare I say it? Yes! The last great sci-fi
