THE PERSUADERS!(1971)

This took a bit to get to play, but with perserverance, I
finally got it going! I'm having high hopes for this series
as it has two great actors in it! We will see!!

EPISODE # 1: OVERTURE(Sept. 17, 1971):

I really hope these episodes get better! Anyway, our two
stars are fanagled into basically spying on a pretty girl! It's
all about the girl's brother, the head of a crime syndicate,
who was supposedy killed, but a retired judge doesn't think
so, and he tells the boys, who had a knock down drag out fight
when they first met, that if they will help him he'll make
sure there are no charges againg the guys! B

EPISODE # 2: THE GOLD NAPOLEON(Sept. 24, 1971):

A young woman gets shot, and Brett thinks is was meant
for Danny! This gets the boys in action for their second
adventure!! It's all about gold smuggling! B

EPISODE # 3: TAKE SEVEN(Oct. 01, 1971):

The judge thinks that a man who suddenly appears after
being thought dead is a phoney! He's after the fortune
left to him by his faather after he died! The problem is
that the daughter has been livng in the house left after
he died! Just who is the bad guy here!! B+

EPISODE # 4: GREENSLEVES(Oct. 08, 1971):

Brett goes by his old home, Greensleves, and finds that
someone's been living there unbeknownst to him!! He
wants to find out the who's and why's! To do it, he
has to play himself!! B+

EPISODE # 5: POWERSWITCH(Oct. 15, 1971):

The boys are out water skiing when they happen upon a
girl that has drowned! The judge has arranged for the
police to act uninterested in the case so they will help
out! The reason: unknown!! A

EPISODE # 6: THE TIME AND THE PLACE(Oct. 22, 1971):

Just how many times can one guy die?! The boys stop by a young
lady who appears to be stranded along the highway and Danny
finds a dead body! He goes back to tell the Lord and when they
come back they find the body gone! Thus starts this episode!! A

EPISODE # 7: SOMEONE LIKE ME(Oct. 29, 1971):

Someone has gone to great lengths to make an exact
copy of the Lord, or at least that's the way it seems!

EPISODE # 8: ANYONE CAN PLAY(Nov. 05, 1971):

So Danny has a sudden streak of extreme luck in a casino!
It happens that the powers that be make a mistake thinking
that he's a Russian currier! A

EPISODE # 9: THE OLD, THE NEW, AND THE DEADLY(Nov. 12, 1971):

Some unsavoury types want Danny to give them the
bird! It was seen with him holding it in a photo of
a woman who was a newlywed and he had picked it up
after it fell to the ground!! B

EPISODE # 10: ANGIE...ANGIE(Nov. 19, 1971):

An old friend of Danny's turns out shows up
and he's not quite the person Danny knew way
back when!!!

EPISODE # 11: CHAIN OF EVENTS(Nov. 26, 1971):

Danny gets chained to a briefcase that it appears eeverone
wants!! A

EPISODE # 12: THAT'S ME OVER THERE(Dec. 03, 1971):

This one's a little confusing, it all revolves around
a microfilm! B

EPISODE # 13: THE LONG GOODBYE(Dec. 10, 1971):

The boys stumble upon a wrecked plane with it's pilot quite
dead! Been that way for 12 years! And they find a a formula that
they don't know what it's for! The judge thinks they need to
find out what it's all about! Turns out it's a formlla for
fuel! Really cheap fuel!! A

EPISODE # 14: THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE(Dec. 17, 1971):

The boys are asked to ferret out a traitor in the Britich
Intelligence Service!

This one's a bit too slapstick for me! Reminds me way too
much of the Three Stupids!!

EPISODE # 15: ELEMENT OF RISK(Dec. 24, 1971):

Danny gets mistaken for a criminal mastermind that has
planned a huge theft!! A

EPISODE # 16: A HOME OF ONE'S OWN(Dec. 31, 1971):

Danny invests in home in the country! Turns out it has a
very questionable history! A

EPISODE # 17: FIVE MILES TO MIDNIGHT(Jan. 07, 1972):

The boys get tasked to escort a criminal out of Italy
so he can testify in the US!

Guest starring here is Joan Collins(THE JOAN COLLINS)! A

EPISODE # 18: NUISANCE VALUE(Jan. 14, 1972):

Danny and Brett witness a kidnapping and get involved in
it!! It's a sham, and the girl is a horrible actress!! B

EPISODE # 19: THE MORNING AFTER(Jan. 21, 1972):

Brett gets married!!! OK, we all know that's not true,
but it's fun to find out the truth!!

Guest starring: Cathrine Schell(On He Majesties Secret
Serice, Space: 1999)! A

EPISODE # 20: READ AND DESTROY(Jan. 28, 1972):

A spy for the West and one for the East are traded out,
because the one from the West has a lot of information
that they want out of him! This pits Brett and Danny against
each other! A

EPISODE # 21: A DEATH IN THE FAMILY(Feb. 04, 1972):

Someone is going around killing the Sincalirs!

Guesst Starring: Denholm Elliott(Raiders Of The Lost Ark,
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, The Bourne Identity)! A

EPISODE # 22: THE OZEROV INHERITANCE(Feb. 11, 1972):

Brett is "cordially" invited to see the The Grand Dutchess
of Russia by her daughter for his help! It's all about
the family jewels11

Guest Starring: Gladys Cooper(My Fair Lady, The Rogues)! A

EPISODE # 23: TO THE DEATH, BABY(Feb. 18, 1972):

The boys decide to help out a poor little rich girl who's
being courted by a very bad dude!! A

EPISODE # 24: SOMEONE WAITING(Feb. 25, 1972):

Someone's out after Danny and Brett! It's all aboout
car racing!!

Guest starring: Lois Maxwell(Miss Moneypenny in a large
number of the James Bond movies!) A
