THE REBEL SEASON 1(1959)
This series only ran two seasons! Not sure why, unless Nick
wanted to do movies!! Pretty gritty show! I'm pretty sure
this is the fist series to ever PTSD, even though it wasn't
refered to it by that then!
The theme song was sung by Johnny Cash!
EPISODE # 1: JOHNNY YUMA(Oct. 04, 1959):
The introduction to Johnny! Johnny goes back home just
to find out that his dad is dead and the town haa been
taken over by thugs!

EPISODE # 2: JUDGEMENT(Oct. 11, 1959):
A man comes stumbling up to Johnny and hits him and
tries to take his horse! He was running fron a posse
for some drummed up charges against him!! It's all about
a land grab and gold!

EPISODE # 3: YELLOW HAIR(Oct. 18, 1959):
Johnny has a visitor who dies right after he says Fort
Concho! He goes there and finds that all the troups have
been killed 'cept one, who's acting crazy! But that's all
that it is, an act! A
EPISODE # 4: VICIOUS CIRCLE(Oct. 25, 1959):
Yuma winds up in La Paz which appears to run by the
Confederates who are planning to start up the war
all over again! It's all about gold!!! A
EPISODE # 5: PANIC(Nov. 01, 1959):
A family is very sick and the people in the nearby town
are scared that it's dyptheria!
J. Patrick O'Mally returns, Jamie Farr(M*A*S*H)! A
EPISODE # 6: THE SCAVENGERS(Nov. 08, 1959):
Johnny comes upon a group of men who are fighting the
cold! He discovers that they are after the group of people
in a cabin nearby!! A
EPISODE # 7: SCHOOL DAYS(Nov. 15, 1959):
Johnny gets hired to be the local school marm, um, master!
The local ruffian is not happy about it after Johnny puts
him in his place!!! A
EPISODE # 8: DARK SECRET(Nov. 22, 1959):
Yuma has to defend himself against a drunk who's really
against Indians! While the widow doesn't act like she
gives a care, Johnny thinks differently and seeks answers! A
EPISODE # 9: MISFITS(Nov. 29, 1959):
Johnny runs into three teens that think they're all that
and are planning to rob a bank! John decides to join them
to try and talk them out of it!! A
EPISODE # 10: IN MEMORIUM(Dec. 06, 1959):
Johnny is in a town to return a coin to a woman who's
son died while fighting in the war, and John just happened
to be there!!

EPISODE # 11: THE VAGRANTS(Dec. 20, 1959):
Yuma goes into a town and immediately gets arrested for
vagrancy! He, along with others that have been arrested
for the same thing are on a work gang for nothing on
projects for the town! A
EPISODE # 12: GUN CITY(Dec. 27, 1959):
Yuma rides into a town where the locals all have agreed
to check their guns with the local newspaper! When he
checks his, they discover one of the guns is missing! A
EPISODE # 13: THE DEATH OF GRAY(Jan. 03, 1960):
Yuma meets up with some renegade ex-rebels and they take
him and a girl hostage!
This is an ugly episode!

EPISODE # 14: ANGRY TOWN(Jan. 10, 1960):
Yuma has to shoot a man in a fast draw and the townspeople
want him to take over as sheriff! The man had taken over
the sheriff's job when his gang showed up in town!

EPISODE # 15: GOLD SEEKER(Jan. 17, 1960):
The episode starts with Johnny and another man riding
along, with Yuma holding a gun on the other dude! They
get ambushed by an Indiann and they both get to tell
their stories!! A
EPISODE # 16: GLORY(Jan. 24, 1960):
A saloon gal gets thrown out of town for killing a man
and strands her out of town with no water, horse or food!
Johnny stops by to help her out!
Funny line: Johnny gives her a gun and she says "I
couldn't hit an elephant" and Johnny says "You probably
won't have to"! A
EPISODE # 17: THE UNWANTED(Jan. 31, 1960):
Johnny runs accross three dudes, one who's pretty bad off,
and one thing leads to another and Yuma takes him back to
his home town where he's hated and accused of being a grave
robber! Obviously there's another story going on here! A
EPISODE # 18: THE CRIME(Feb. 07, 1960):
Yuma hears a gun shot while ridding along and goes to
investigate! He finds a dead horse and a lot of jewelery
inside the saddle!! A
EPISODE # 19: NOBLESSE OBLIGE(Feb. 14, 1960):
A man puts up a reward to the murderer of another man!

EPISODE # 20: LAND(Feb. 21, 1960):
Welp, this is about land and who owns it!! A
EPISODE # 21: HE'S ONLY A BOY(Feb. 28, 1960):
A very young man wants to take on Johnny because of his
fatther's percieved cowardness!

EPISODE # 22: TAKE DEAD AIM(Mar. 06, 1960):
Yuma takes up with a sharp shooter and his wife in their
act! When the wife makes a move on Johnny, the man is out
his head! A
EPISODE # 23: THE RATTLER(Mar. 13, 1960):
Yuma gets bit by a snake and he gets taken in by a woman
and her son, and another man who's not who he appears to
be!! A
EPISODE # 24: YOU STEAL MY EYES(Mar. 20, 1960):
Johnny comes upon a man caught in a bear trap during a snow
storm and gets him to a shack where there's a blind girl! A
EPISODE # 25: FAIR GAME(Mar. 27, 1960):
Yuma comes to a stage depot and waits for a coach to
Laredo! When the coach arrives, there's an eclectic bunch
that's waiting for daylight when the coach will leave!
Amoung them are a woman being taken to Laredo by a bounty
hunter! Things take a nasty turn when the hunter dies from
poisoning!!
As several on IMDb.com have mentioned, this has many
similarities to Quinton Territino's "Hateful Eight"!

EPISODE # 26: UNSURRENDERED SWORD(Apr. 03, 1960):
Johnny is in a small town and because of a malaria scare, is
quarentined longer than he expected and can't by his bill! After
some scuffling, a woman comes to his aid, pays his bill, and asks
him to retrieve her dead husband's sword! A
EPISODE # 27: THE CAPTIVE OF TEMBLOR(Apr. 10, 1960):
Johnny gets hurt(again) and the dudes that find him take
him to the nearest town where the doctor's in jail! A
EPISODE # 28: BLIND MARRIAGE(Apr. 17, 1960):
Johny's riding shotgun on a stagecoach where a Chines man and
his daughter are trying to ride to San Francisco! There are
a couple of bigots who don't want that to happen!

EPISODE # 29: ABSOLUTION(Apr. 24, 1960):
A former girlfriend of Johnny's who betrayed him is in
failing health and wants him to come visit so he can
forgive her! A
EPISODE # 30: A GRAVE FOR JOHHNY YUMA(May 01, 1960):
A woman dies and her brother says he's going to kill Yuma
cause he mislead his sister and she died of a broken heart!

EPISODE # 31: IN MEMORY OF A SON(May 08, 1960):
An old man calls Yuma and three other men who all were part
of a raiding party to a town to give them a map to a gold mine
in memory of his son, who was also in on the raid!! As in
Ten Little Indians, they start dropping like flies! A
EPISODE # 32: PAINT A HOUSE WITH SCARLET(May 15, 1960):
Just once I'd like to see Yuma ride into a town or a farm
and everyone treat him with respect!! Welp, not this time
either!
Yuma tries to get out of the wind by going into a barn then
proptly getting knocked out! Turns out he's gotten into a
war that a holier-than-thou old coot thinks that the woman
is a sinner and doesn't belong anywhere near them!

EPISODE # 33: GRANT OF LAND(May 22, 1960):
A medal of honor winner wants to settle down but the
towns people don't want him there out of bigotry!! A

A former member of Yuma's regeiment is hooked on pain
pills!

This is by far one of the most nonsnesical episodes of
any westerns I've ever seen!!
