The Brittish series that was a continueation, of sorts, to
the very popular movies!! Starring Roger Moore(Bond, James
Bond)!! The first two seasons are in black and white!!

Sadly there are NO CLOSED CAPTIONS ON THESE!!!!

SEASON ONE:

EPISODE # 1: THE TALENTED HUSBAND(Oct. 04, 1962):

A scheming husband is tryig to off his rich wife, but Simon
shows up to foil the plot!

Guest starring here is Shirley Eaton(Goldfinger)! A

EPISODE # 2: THE LATIN TOUCH(Oct. 11, 1962):

While Simon is hitting on a girl in Rome, he gets wacked
in the head and the girl diappears! Simon wakes up in jail
and the girl's father gets Simon to help him out!

Guest starring hee is Bill Nagy(Goldfinger, You Only Live
Twice)!

Star Trek connection: Robert Easton(Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered
Country, )! A-

EPISODE # 3: THE CAREFUL TERRORIST(Oct. 18, 1962):

A big wig in the underworld is getting too much press by
a determined reporter! Said reporter gets blown to bits
and Simon takes up the reins to dethrone said big wig!! A

EPISODE # 4: THE COVETOUS HEADSMAN(Oct. 25, 1962):

Three Mexican gang members are killed in a park by a sniper
and a Col. D.B. Walter is on the scene to offer his "opinions"!!
He believes his son is responsible!!

This guest stars Baarbara Shelley(Village Of The Damned,)!!! A

EPISODE # 5: THE LOADED TOURIST(Nov. 01, 1962):

Simon befriends a teenage boy on a flight to Switzerland and
soon is embroiled in murder and smuggling!! A

EPISODE # 6: THE PEARLS OF PEACE(Nov. 08, 1962):

A friend of Simon's comes to him to ask for a loan to
fund a pearl hunting expedition! But things go pretty
bad and Simon has to show up to put the pieces back
together!! This is an ugly story, but has a decent
ending! D+

EPISODE # 7: THE ARROW OF GOD(Nov. 15, 1962):

A Joan Rivers wannabe gossip colmnist joins a party in
Nassau along with many people who all have skeletons in
their pasts that he's threatening to expose! He's found
with an arrow through him! A

EPISODE # 8: THE ELEMENT OF DOUBT(Nov. 22, 1962):

Templer gets involved with a less than honest lawyer
and decides to tech him a lesson!

Bill Nagy returns! A

EPISODE # 9: THE EFFETE ANGLEER(Nov. 29, 1962):

Templer's in Miami now, and he gets involved with a
smuggling team!!

Shirley Eaton returns! A

EPISODE # 10: THE GOLDEN JOURNEY(Dec. 06, 1962):

Simon is enlisted by a friend to try to make a lady out
his less than lady like feance! A

EPISODE # 11: THE MAN WHO WAS LUCKY(Dec. 13, 1962):

A dude who's in the protection racket busts up a place
because they won't pay up! In the melee, one of the
owners gets killed and Simon is so angry that he goes
after the whole mob! A

EPISODE # 12: THE CHARITABLE COUNTESS(Dec. 20, 1962):

In Rome there's a band of very ruthless theives, average
age, 11!! They get into big trouble when they boost the
wrong group of rich people!! The whole things revelves around
a shister who suposedly is collecting money for homeless
kids!!!

This is a great episode!! A+

Espionage, murder and gambling are what this is about! B

A "director" wants to make a movie about Simon and he wants
Simon to play himself!! A-

EPISODE # 3: JUDITH(Oct. 03, 1963):

We're now in Canada where he meets up with a woman who
wants to rob her rich uncle!

EPISODE # 4: TERESA(Oct. 10, 1963):

Back to Mexico where Simon meets up with a woman and tries
to help her find her missing husband!

We're back in England and Simon gets involved in a missing
man, murder and mystery! A

EPISODE # 6: MARCIA(Oct. 24, 1963):

Simon's actress friend gets a part in a picture when the
leading lady kills herself! She winds up getting a threatening
note and calls Simon for help!

EPISODE # 7: THE WORK OF ART(Sep. 31, 1963):

Simon's in Paris for this one, visiting a girl friend!
Of course this wouldn't be The Saint if there wasn't a
mystery: O.A.S. agemt gets killed and Simon is out after
the perp!! A

EPISODE # 8: IRIS(Nov. 07, 1963):

Templer gets involved with a man in the protection racket
through a friend in a play that the unscruled man is financing! A

EPISODE # 9: THE KING OF THE BEGGERS(Nov. 14, 1963):

A begger man gets run down and killed in Rome and Simon
witnesses is! He discovers theres a Begger's Protection
Association and that they're the ones behind the killing!

Guest starring Oliver Reed(several Hammar films, the 3
Musketeers movies[1970s-1980s], The Sting II)! A

EPISODE # 10: THE ROUGH DIAMONDS(Nov. 21, 1963):

Simon meets up with a man transporting raw diamonds back to
England! The diamonds get stolen and two security men get
killed! Aaaaaaaaand Simoon's off!!! A

EPISODE # 11: THE SAINT PLAYS WITH FIRE(Nov. 28, 1963):

An ugly episode about ugly people - Nazis!

Guest starring here is Robert Brown(he played M in 4 James
Bond movies taking the the place of Bernard Lee!! Interestingly,
he was also in The Spy Who Loved Me before his stint as M as
Admiral Hargreaves!)!! D

EPISODE # 12: THE WELL MEANING MAYOR(Dec. 05, 1963):

After losing a mayoral race, one of the candidates keeps on
badgering the winner, accusing him of dishonest practices!! A-

EPISODE # 13: THE SPORTING CHANCE(Dec. 12, 1963):

An inventor of a guidence system is being blackmailed into
going over to the dark side by them saying they have his
wife and daughter held captive! Simon's in Toronto fishing
and happens to be friends with the good inventor and gets
involved!! A

EPISODE # 14: THE BUNCO ARTISTS(Dec. 19, 1963):

Simon is after a bunko artist!! This is a great episode!! A+

EPISODE # 15: THE BENEVOLENT BURGLERY(Dec. 26, 1963):

We're in Monte Carlo here! Simon makes a bet with an overly
rich and protective man that his place will be robbed! A

EPISODE # 16: THE WONDERFUL WAR(Jan. 02, 1964):

This finds Simon in Sayeda(not real) in the middle east
where the county's leader has just been killed and his
son is on the run for his life!! A

EPISODE # 17: THE NOBLE SPORTSMAN(Jan. 09, 1964):

This one's about a man who loves "sport hunting"(murdering
animals for fun) and he gets a threatening letting saying
he's going to be killed!! A

EPISODE # 18: THE ROMANTIC MATRON(Jan. 16, 1964):

First there's a armored car hijacking, then a dude
puposely hits a woman's car just so he can meet her!
It's all about an anti-government movemnent in Bueneo
Aires! A-

EPISODE # 19: LUELLA(Jan. 23, 1964):

A friend of Simon's in London and he wants Simon to show
him the town!! He gets framed for cavorting with another
man's wife!!

A cute ending here with Simon having told a lady that
he was "James Bond"!!! This being several years before
he really did play 007!!!

EPISODE # 20: THE LAWLESS LADY(Jan. 31, 1964):

Another tale about bunco operators and Simon trying to
turn the tables on them!

EPISODE # 21: THE GOOD MEDICINE(Feb. 06, 1964):

A millionaire's wife is having an affair with a dude and that
dude gets killed in a car wreck while the millionare is driving!! A

EPISODE # 23: THE HIGH FENCE(Feb. 20, 1964):

There's a raft of diamond thefts going on in London and of
course the good inspector thinks that it just has to be Simon!
The real cruxt of the story is trying to find the fence that
all these jewels are going through!! B+

EPISODE # 24: SOPHIA(Feb. 27, 1964):

In Athens a father and daughter who own a run down hotel/bar
are excited when they find out that a relative is coming to
visit! Turns out he's nothing more than a two bit criminal and
the big boys are out after him! A

EPISODE # 25: THE GENTLE LADIES(Mar. 05, 1964):

Three kindly elderly ladies in an out of the way town are
hiding a secret and a strange man comes and threatens them!!

This is kinda a play on Arsonic And Old Lace!! Kinda!! A

EPISODE # 26: THE EVER-LOVING SPOUSE(Mar. 12, 1964):

And here we find our man of the halo in San Fransiesco
where he gets involved in a blackmailing/frame up scheme!!!! B

EPISODE # 27: THE SAINT SEES IT THROUGH(Oct. 08, 1963):

Last episode of Season 2, this one finds Simon in Hamburg
where Simon has been asked to help break up a art smuggling ring! A
