T.J. HOOKER SEASONS 3


This series stars William Shatner(Star Trek: TOS, Boston Legal)
as a no nonsense cop on the streets of, well, they never say!!
However, in a shot in episode 17, "The Fast Lane", there is a
shot of a billboard that says 94.7 - KMET which was a L.A.
station at the time when this was aired!! Also here is Adrian
Zmed & Heather Locklear(Dynasty, Spin City)! Late in the second
season, they added James Darren(Star Trek: DS9 [Vic Fontaine],
The Time Tunnel, Singer[Goodbye Cruel World, Her Royal Majesty],
also was in the three Gidget movies)!! Also in several episodes
is Richard Herd(Star Trek: TNG[L'Kor] & Voyager[Admiral Paris,
Tom Paris' father!])

Shatner's character is divorced, a Vietnam Vet, and a trainer
of upcoming newbies!!!

Bill, Adrian & Richard do a bang up job in this!!

EPISODE # 1: THE RETURN(Oct. 01, 1983):

A bank robber who killed Hooker's old partner
returns! The acting in this is terrible except
for the mains! B

EPISODE # 2: CARNAL EXPRESS(Oct. 08, 1983):

Stacy goes undercover when a hooker friend of her's
goes missing! B+

EPISODE # 3: CHINATOWN(Oct. 15, 1983):

The main perp for a gun running ring in Chinatown
just happens to have been married to an old flame
of Hooker's, and just miight be his daughter!

A reporter looks like a target for a murder, but
Hooker's not too sure! B

EPISODE # 6: WALK A STRAIGHT LINE(Nov. 05, 1983):

A cop get's his partner shot when he not up to snuff
because of his drinking during a stake out trying to
catch a couple of robbers! B

EPISODE # 7: A CHILD IS MISSING(Nov. 12, 1983):

A boy gets grabbed by his biological father! It's
all about revenge on his ex! I hate crimes against
children!!!

Someone's going around killing nurses!! Boy, this
one is like glass, able to see what's happening from
the first few minutes!!! B

A drug lord kills a narcotics officer!

T.J. Hooker reminds me of Dirty Harry in some respects.
Like DH, Hooker is tough, especially on the bad guys.
He's a no-nonsense cop, but at least he still has some
sense of humor.

This is one of the most underrated cop shows. It may
not be the best police drama ever made, but it has its
moments. Plus, it's good to see William Shatner having
success outside Star Trek. And this series shows that
he could (and still can) do exactly that. - 4-Kane
