T.J. HOOKER SEASONS 4
This series stars William Shatner(Star Trek: TOS, Boston Legal)
as a no nonsense cop on the streets of, well, they never say!!
However, in a shot in episode 17, "The Fast Lane", there is a
shot of a billboard that says 94.7 - KMET which was a L.A.
station at the time when this was aired!! Also here is Adrian
Zmed & Heather Locklear(Dynasty, Spin City)! Late in the second
season, they added James Darren(Star Trek: DS9 [Vic Fontaine],
The Time Tunnel, Singer[Goodbye Cruel World, Her Royal Majesty],
also was in the three Gidget movies)!! Also in several episodes
is Richard Herd(Star Trek: TNG[L'Kor] & Voyager[Admiral Paris,
Tom Paris' father!])
Shatner's character is divorced, a Vietnam Vet, and a trainer
of upcoming newbies!!!
Bill, James, Adrian & Richard do a bang up job in this!!

Stacy gets shot, Hooker gets mad and into trouble!

name, but was known as the dude that picked a fight

EPISODE # 2: THE TWO FACES OF BETSY MORGAN(Oct. 20, 1984):
A couple of serial killers grab a couple of "working
girls" but wind up having problems when not only do
they fight back in a van, but they also happen to draw
attention to themselves by Hooker and Vince! B
EPISODE # 3: PURSUIT(Oct. 27, 1984):
While chasing a couple of bank robbers, there's an
accident and a pregnant hostage gets injured and
loses her baby! Heat ensues on Hooker!! B
EPISODE # 4: HARDCORE CONNECTION(Nov. 03, 1984):
A narcotics officer gets killed and then framed as
a cop on the take! B
EPISODE # 5: ANATOMY OF A KILLING(Nov. 10, 1984):
I can't stand the character Stacey!
A cop's daughter gets involved with drug dealers!
This is Richard Herd's last episode!

Someon's got it out for "bag ladies" which leads to
Jim getting banged on the head which leads to him
acting irrationally!!! C

While in a shootout, one of the female cops freezes
and two cops get shot!!

T.J. Hooker reminds me of Dirty Harry in some respects.
Like DH, Hooker is tough, especially on the bad guys.
He's a no-nonsense cop, but at least he still has some
sense of humor.
This is one of the most underrated cop shows. It may
not be the best police drama ever made, but it has its
moments. Plus, it's good to see William Shatner having
success outside Star Trek. And this series shows that
he could (and still can) do exactly that. - 4-Kane
