VEGAS SEASON 1(1978)
One of the best TV series ever(at leat the first four
seasons) starring Martin Sheen, Rob Lowe, Allison Janney,
John Spencer, Bradley Whitford, Janel Moloney, Richard
Schiff, Dule Hill, Joshua Malina, Stockard Channing and
others!
I guess it's pretty obvious what the shows about, a first
term President and his cabinet and the workings inside
the West Wing!!
Sadly, this set is released in the absolute worst possible
way, double sided!!!
EPISODE # 1: PILOT(Sept. 22, 1999):
We are introduced to the entire team here: Josh Lyman, Toby
Ziegler, C.J. Craig, Leo McGarry, Sam Seaborn, Donna Moss
and of course President Josiah Bartlet!
Josh is in trouble for something he said to a religious
zelot on TV, Sam's in trouble for sleeping with a high
priced call girl(he was unaware of it at the time), and
there's a couple of hundred Cubans on their way to the
U.S. shoreline seeking assylum!
Thus starts the best drama ever on TV and just another
day at the West Wing!! A+
EPISODE # 2: POST HOC, ERGO PROPTER HOC(Sept. 29, 199):
Sam is trying to "reform" the woman he slept with in
episode 1! The President wants his doctor that he's
been seeing to stay on permanently! Josh has to hire
his ex for a postition in Bartlet's administration!
And C.J. is attempting to ease the tension from the
Vice President! A+
EPISODE # 3: A PRPORTIONAL RESPONSE(Oct. 06, 1999):
This introduces another great character, Charlie
Young! Also here is Danny Concannon as a reporter,
who eventually becomes and important part of the
show!
As for the main story, it's about the retalliation for
the attack on the plane that carried doctors, nurses
and medication! Side stories are the hiring of Charlie,
Texas threatening the President and the ongoing story
about Sam and the call girl! A+
EPISODE # 4: FIVE VOTES DOWN(Oct. 13, 1999):
Leo is having marital problems, and the whole team need
to jump in when the bill for gun control is suddenly in
danger of failing!! A
EPISODE # 5: THE CRACKPOTS AND THESE WOMEN(Oct. 20, 1999):
This is the first appearance of the "Big Block Of Cheese"
day! A day when the staff meet with people who don't
have the ear of those in power!
Side story is that Josh gets a "get out of the country
free" card that no one else gets! And he's very uneasy
about that! A
EPISODE # 6: MR. WILLIS OF OHIO(Nov. 03, 1999):
There's an important vote in congress and one of the "swing
votes" is a man who took over the position his wife held
when she died!!
Not sure if this is actually a side story, but several
of the President's men and women go out to get a drink
and Zoe tags along! Three hot shot frats start hitting
on her!

EPISODE # 7: THE STATE DINNER(Nov. 10, 1999):
As well as the State Dinner, there's a hostage situation
and a hurricane in the Georgia area where Charlie's
parents live!
Stockard Channing makes her first appearance as the
President's wife and the second of 28 for Timothy
Busman as Danny!

EPISODE # 8: ENEMIES(Nov. 17, 1999):
Another bill is in jeopardy because of an added rider
that allows strip minning in Montana!
In a meeting the President and Vice President have a bit
of an akward moment that gets blown out of preportions
when someone leaks it to Danny! A
EPISODE # 9: THE SHORT LIST(Nov. 24, 1999):
The two stories: someone's out for blood by accusing that 1/3
of the White House's workers are on drugs, and that there's
an opening on the Supreme Court and the number one person
that's pegged for the spot has a big issue!!!

EPISODE # 10: IN EXCELSIS DEO(Dec. 15, 1999):
This may very well be the best episode of the series! Very
heartfelt! A homeless man dies on the White House dias
and it hits Toby hard! A+
EPISODE # 11: LORD JOHN MARBURY(Jan. 05, 2000):
The White House is trying to stop the escalation of a
war between India and Pakistan!
The president gives his blessing for Charlie to date
his daughter Zoe!

EPISODE # 12: HE SHALL, FROM TIME TO TIME...(Jan. 12, 2000):
The President has an attack of some sort and passes
out! Here we find out why!
Still dealing with the war between India and Pakastan,
with the help of the good Lord Marburry!

EPISODE # 13: TAKE OUT THE TRASH DAY(Jan. 26, 2000)
Many things going on: a bill that someone wants to go away;
the discovery of who leaked the info on Leo, the parents
of a man killed in a hate crime that were invited to be
there when a hate bill was introduced, and bananas! A
EPISODE # 14: TAKE THIS SABBATH DAY(Feb. 09, 2000):
A drug kingpin is up for execution and his lawyer has
gone to Sam to ask for the President to intervine!

EPISODE # 15: CELESTIAL NAVIGATION(Feb. 16, 2000):
Main story is Josh at a colege discussing an average
day at the white house, with several humorous parts!

EPISODE # 16: 20 HOURS IN L.A.(Feb. 23, 2000)
Josh is trying to keep a funraiser hapening, and finds
out that she has another love interest, there's a tie
in the Senate that the Vice President needs to break
and it's up to Leo to try to convince him to do it,
and President Bartlett meets one of Zoey's new bodyguards!

EPISODE # 17: THE WHITE HOUSE PRO-AM(Mar. 22, 2000):
Zoey and Charlie have a date planned but her father lets
her know that they can't do that because of hate mail
that Charlie's been getting!
There's a bit of a power struggle between the President and
the First Lady! A
EPISODE # 18: SIX MEETINGS BEFORE LUNCH(Apr. 05, 2000):
This is a lighter episode with emphisis on Zoey being shanghiaed
by a reporter, a panda bear, and school vouchers! A-
EPISODE # 19: LET BARTLET BE BARTLET(Apr. 26, 2000)
This is where the whole team takes a turn to actually do
something important and right, hang the numbers!
Also, there's a leaked memo that could affect the whole
administration!

EPISODE # 20: MANDANTORY MINIMUMS(May 03, 2000):
Main topic is drug offenses and how to make the punishment
more equal!

The team is anxiously waiting for the poll results! B
EPISODE # 22: WHAT KIND OF DAY HAS IT BEEN(May 17, 2000)
Toby's brother is stuck in space, there's been a fighter
pilot shot down in Iraq but the biggest thing happening
here is the attack on the Presidential party after a speech!
While this was a good episode, I just don't know why EVERY
show has to have at least one episode dedicated to violence!!

Just started re watching this amazing series again, which
may be a mistake as I can now see several weeks of zero
sleep coming up! Brilliantly written, acted, produced and
directed. Faultless from the very first introduction. Would
and have reccomended this to anyone who has any sort of
