WILL & GRACE SEASON 1(1998)
The premise for this series is that Will is gay and
Grace is not! They wind up sharing an apartment after
the first episode! Their friend Jack pretty much steals
every scene he's in, unless Karen is there, then they
steal them together!!!
I'm not a huge fan of this series, but bought it because
my beautiful wife is! Every once in a while there's a bit
of humor, but just not enough!
EPISODE # 1: THE PILOT(Sept. 21, 1998):
Grace is getting married and Will thinks it's a terrible
idea! C
EPISODE # 2: A NEW LEASE ON LIFE(Sept. 28, 1998):
Grace breaks up with her boyfriend when he asks her
to marry him, and this puts her in the postition of
not having a place to live!! C
EPISODE # 3: HEAD CASE(Oct. 05, 1998):
Figuring out what their new relationship entails
with W & G now living in the same apartment! C
EPISODE # 4: BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARLIN'S PLACE(Oct. 12, 1998):
Jack has finally decided what he wants to do for a living,
singing, with the help of Karen! Grace is hired to
redecorate a client of Will's apartment! C
EPISODE # 5: BOO HUMBUG(Oct. 26, 1998):
The same client of Will's asks the two to babysit his
kids on Halloween, which goes disasterously! B-
EPISODE # 6: WILLIAM, TELL(Nov. 09, 1998):
Grace hires Jack to cover for Karen while she's on "vacation"!
Karen, on the other hand asked Will to find out how much
her husband is worth! C
EPISODE # 7: WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S NO WAY(Nov. 16, 1998):
Grace is feeling like she's no longer interested men
because of Will! Jack is in trouble with the IRS! C
EPISODE # 8: THE BUYING GAME(Nov. 30, 1998):
Jack is trying a new career, masseur! Grace gets a
chance to buy her office space! C
EPISODE # 9: THE TRUTH ABOUT WILL AND DOGS(Dec. 15, 1998):
Grace buys a dog, not realizing it will change her relationship
with will dramatically! C+
EPISODE # 10: THE BIG VENT(Jan. 05, 1999):
W & G have a new hobby: listening to their neighbors downstairs
through an air duct!! B-
EPISODE # 11: WILL ON ICE(Jan. 12, 1999):
It's Will's birthday and the plan is to go out to dinner
at a very spendy place, but there's also a ice show going
on! C
EPISODE # 12: MY FAIR MAID-Y(Feb. 02, 1999):
Will gets a maid for Grace. C
EPISODE # 13: THE UNSIKABLE MOMMY ADLER(Feb. 09, 1999)
Grace's mother shows up causing grief for her!
EXTREMELY disappointed in the crowds reaction to the
entrance of DR!!!!

Will's brother shows up but Will wants nothing to do
with him!!
Also, it's Jack's birthday and he's stunned to find out

Things are awkward between Will, Grace and Sam! C+

The old series was excellent. Groundbreaking for its
time, not just because 2 lead characters were gay, but
for its intelligent wit. Like Cheers before it, it raised
the bar for sitcoms.
But the reboot lost me after a week or two. I disliked
it from the beginning, because they did away with everything
from the great finale of the first run. Didn't like the
retcon; wish they had figured out a way to do it while
keeping everything from the first finale. - hughjman
