Having never seen any of these episodes, I'm going in
fairly blind, though of course one cannot help but
know what it's about!

EPISODE # 1: REDUX(Nov. 02, 1997):
Continued from season 4, episode 24: "Gethsemine" and continued
in the next episode!

EPISODE # 2: REDUX II(Nov. 09, 1997):
This show has gone WAAAAYYYY off course from it's original
premiss! I'm not sure exactly what the Hell is happening
at this point, as the show is now just a who-dun-it show! B-
EPISODE # 3: UNUSUAL SUSPECTS(Nov. 16, 1997):
A flashback episode about the beginnings of the Lone
Gunmen and their intro to Mulder! A
EPISODE # 4: DETOUR(Nov. 23, 1997):
Mulder and Scully are on their way to a conference when
they run into a roadblock caused by police searching for
some missing servey men! They join the hunt! A
EPISODE # 5: POST-MODERN PROMETHEUS(Nov. 30, 1997):
This is a phenominal episode: there's a creature that attacks
women and makes them pregnant! Shot all in B/W, it's quite
surreal and noir-like!!
An absolutely great rendition of "The Sun Ain't Gunna
Shine Anymore" by Cher!!
Guest starring: Jerry Springer(on a TV)!! A+
EPISODE # 6: CHRISTMAS CAROL(Dec. 07, 1997):
No Mulder( :( ) Scully's on a vaction for the holidays
and gets wrapped up in a suicide/murder!!! B
EPISODE # 7: EMILY(Dec. 14, 1997):
With Scully fully vested in the young girl whom
she thinks is her sister's daughter, Mulder shows
up to help find answers!
Guest starring: MLK & RFK in flashback TV newsreels! B
EPISODE # 8: KITSUNEGARI(Jan. 04, 1998):
The dude from Season 3's episode "Pusher" shows up
again to make life miserable for Fox!! B-
EPISODE # 9: SCHIZOGENY(Jan. 11, 1998):
People are dying in a small community and the most recent
appears to be done by the man's stepson! B+
EPISODE # 10: CHINGA(Feb. 08, 1998):
Another take on Chucky, with shades of Bill Mumy's Twilight
episode from 1961 "It's A Good Life"! B
EPISODE # 11: KILL SWITCH(Feb. 15, 1998):
An intellegent computer progarmmer creates a very
intelligent AI that's killing people! B+
EPISODE # 12: BAD BLOOD(Feb. 22, 1998):
Vampires!! This has a lot of humor!!! B+
EPISODE # 13: PATIENT X(Mar. 01, 1998)
This shows Mulder as now not beliving his own beliefs!!
Totally unnecessary!! D
EPISODE # 14: THE RED AND THE BLACK(Mar. 08, 1998):
Continuing the same as before!! D
EPISODE # 15: TRAVELERS(Mar. 29, 1998):
This is a flashback episode showing how Mulder became
involved with the X-files!
Guest starring: Darrin McGavin, Joseph Macarthy(on
TV)! B+
EPISODE # 16: MIND'S EYE(Apr. 19, 1998)
A very stupid blind gal is having visions about violent
happenings but no one believes her but Mulder!
I would have given this a higher rate except that the
ending makes no sense!! B+
EPISODE # 17: ALL SOULS(Apr. 26, 1998):
Scully gets involved in the deaths of girls who all
have a deformety with several extra digits, and they
are all related, given up by their birth mother!
Way too religious based for my taste, and Mulder is
still doing his non-believing schtick!!! C-
EPISODE # 18: THE PINE BLUFF VARIANT(May 03, 1998):
Mulder goes undercover to find out who's killing people
and how! B
EPISODE # 19: FOLIE A DEUX(May 10, 1998)
A telemarketer thinks he's seeing monsters! B+
EPISODE # 20: THE END(May 17, 1998):
A young boy chess prodigy is targeted by nafarious people
because his chess abilities comes from being able to read
people's minds!! A fire disaster hits close to home for
Mulder! B+

As it shows aliens do exist or that they are just in their
minds or made believe.
Skeptic and doctor Dana Scully is partnered with that of
believer Fox Mulder who has history there. Over in his belief
as they opened the X-Files at the FBI.
That over in how it has wit, charm, chemistry there. In real
life it was David Duchovny that is the skeptic and Gillian
Anderson is the believer there.
