BATMAN(1966) SEASON, TWO PT. 2
The second season of this series was sooooo long
that they had to break it up into two sets!!! The reason
that this season is so long is that they started having
two episodes a week, one night after the other!! In this,
the second set, we have most all of the cast returning
to reprise their roles: Adam West, Burt Ward, Alan
Napier, Neil Hamilton & Stafford Repp as the main
five characters; Batman, Robin, Alfred, Commissioner
Gordon & Chief O'Hara! Also returning to reprise
their villainous roles are Burgess Meredith(Penguin),
Julie Newmar(Catwoman), Victor Buono(King Tut)
& Cesar Romero(Joker)!
Not returning is one of the best of the villains, Frank
Gorshin as The Riddler!! He has been replaced with
another fine actor, but much blander, John Astin
(best known as Gomez Addams on The Addams
Family)! Another, not as big of change, is Mr. Freeze,
whom two people take over the role in this season!!

bigger ones are One Hundred And One Dalmatians, The

Alan Napier does show up in this one, right at the end!! A
From another reviewer at IMDb.com:
Since my generation knows Batman either as a film noir
type (Tim Burton's and Christopher Nolan's movies) or as
something toyetic (Joel Schumacher's movies), it might
surprise us to learn that there was a campy '60s show
featuring the Caped Crusader and Robin. Whatever the
modern movies gave us, they don't give us zany puns or
graphics showing noises. You can bet money that they
had a lot of fun making this series. You're bound to
love it. - lee_eisenberg
