BLACK LIGHTNING SEASON 1
From the pages of dc comics, the black man's superhero(?)!
The basic idea here was a Black man being a hero to his
people! The bad part of this it's too dark! It really has
a good premise, but, again too dark! At least for me!
I can't justify buying the other seasons(there are four)
of this too slanted series!
Oh, and the music SUCKS!!!!!
EPISODE # 1: THE RESURRECTION(Jan. 16, 2018):
This first episode shows the return of Black Lightning and
his attempt to clean up the city he live in and protect his
family! B
EPISODE # 2: LaWANDA: THE BOOK OF HOPE(Jan. 23, 2018):
More on Pierce trying to escape his Black Lightning alter-
ego! Doesn't look like it's going to happen!!! B
EPISODE # 3: LaWANDA: THE BOOK OF BURIAL(Jan. 30, 2018):
With the bad guys dropping like flys, and Annyssa discovering
her powers, the real bad guy is still out there running the
bad folk of the town!! A
EPISODE # 4: BLACK JESUS(Feb. 06, 2018):
Like Smallville, The Flash and other DC, super powered
people are popping up constantly! The songs still suck!
And no one(?) knows who's really behind all the crime in
the city!! B
EPISODE # 5: AND HEN THE DEVIL BROUGHT THE PLAGUE:
THE BOOK OF GREEN LIGHT(Feb. 13, 2018):
The real bad guys/girls are stikll unknown to the cops
and Black Lightning, but they aare getting closer to catching
his attention!! B
EPISODE # 6: THREE SEVENS: THE BOOK OF THUNDER(Feb. 27, 2018):
Things get complicated when Balck Lightnings daughter comes
to save her mother and Black doesn't know who she is and a
fight ensues!!! And the biggest problem that he faces it
that his closest confidant is not telling him everything
he knows!! B
EPISODE # 7: EQUINOX: THE BOOK OF FATE(Mar. 06, 2018):
Dealing with his daughter, two-faced "friends" and the law,
BL is getting deeper into something that he has no idea how
deep it all goes!!! B
EPISODE # 8: THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS(Mar. 13, 2018):
BL finds out about his frined, his other daughter starts
showing signs of being Meta! B
EPISODE # 9: THE BOOK OF LITTLE BLACK LIES(Mar. 20, 2018):
Much mistrust amooungs friends and family! And the
death of Lady Eve is still being thought of as the
act of BL! B
EPISODE # 10: SINS OF THE FATHER:
THE BOOK OF REDEMPTION(Mar. 27, 2018):
There's a new threat to BL and family: Martin Proctor! B
EPISODE # 11: BLACK JESUS: THE BOOK OF CRUCIFIXION(Apr. 03, 2018):
Said Proctor has Peirce set up for an arrest! His girls
take over his place as the protector of the town!! B
EPISODE # 12: THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIGHT:
THE BOOK OF PAIN(Apr. 10, 2018):
So now with Khalil as another pawn, Tobias attacks the school
to bring out BL! He gets killed but his daughter brings him
back to life! B
EPISODE # 13: SHADOW OF DEATH: THE BOOK OF WAR(Apr. 17, 2018)

are!!
The real problem with this is that there is way too
stereotyping here! The black peopke are all good and
the whites are all bad! There's no middle ground here!
I know I can't relate to the problems that the
the black community deals with on a daily basis! But
there are many, MANY superhero movies and TV shows that
can show that fine line of not all whites are good and
not all blacks are bad! B

It looks most of the negative reviews here are all
politically motivated. I wish people who claim others
are snowflakes or oversensitive would stop being offended
by everything to the point that it dominants their opinion
on everything. This is a slick, well done, unique take
on the superhero genre.It deals with modern day issues,
speaks in a contemporary language, and shows evil from
a perspective very rarely attended to in superhero story
telling. It manages both camp and realism. Look, the
world is changing, trying to silence or mitigate it
