GOTHAM SEASON 1:
SPECIAL TIN CONTAINER!
From the pages of DC comics, this is the early beginnings
Batman!! It focuses on a young Bruce Wayne, Alfred,
and James Gordon! It is hard to tell what time period
this is supposed to be, as it partially looks like it could
be from the 40s, which it really should be! But the cars
and other items(cell phones) make it more modern!
You really have to pay attention here, and know who all
the players are, or you will get quite lost!
Camren Bicondova, the girl playing Selina Kyle is really
good!! As well as David Mazouz(Bruce Wayne)!! I'm not
a big fan of the way that Alfred(Sean Pertwee) is represented
here, but Sean does do a good job!! And Ben McKenzie(Jim
Gordon), is also good!!
The biggest problem I have with this show is The Penguin!!
After 65 years of being a short pudgy dude, he now is shown
as a skinny tall dude!!
But overall, still a good watch! Quite well done!!
EPISODE # 1: PILOT(Sept. 22, 2014):
EXTENDED VERSION
This stays true to the beginnings of Batman, starting
with the death of Bruce's parents during a robbery! It
continues with the process of the police trying to
find the perp!! This also shows the very early beginings
of The Penguin, as well as a couple of other main
characters from the comics!! A-
EPISODE # 2: SELINA KYLE(Sept. 29, 2014):
The character of Alfred is completely out of touch with
the comic book character!! I don't really like that! This
is about people stealing homeless kids off the street and
using them as slave labor!! The young girl from the
first episode is also in this, as a witness to another
murder, just like the first episode!! This is the very
early beginnings of Catwoman!! A-
EPISODE # 3: THE BALLOONMAN(Oct. 6, 2014):
Selina gives Gordon a lot of info about the Wayne murders
in return for him letting her go free!! While proving that what
she says is true, she escapes! Meanwhile, Gordon has been
given up as the killer for Cobblepot! And in another side
story, Cobblepot is back in town and getting his revenge
on the town! And there's another plot revolving around a
dude that's going around offing bad people with really
big balloons!!! A
EPISODE # 4: ARKHAM(Oct. 13, 2014):
Cobblepot comes back and pays a visit to Jim Gordon!!
He's making an offer to work with Gordon to help
clean up the town!! Certainly not the Penguin that
we all know and love!!
There's a new killer running around, with the first of
his victims being a couple of councilmen!! It all
appears to be based upon a power struggle about
the Arkham section of Gotham! A
EPISODE # 5: VIPER(Oct. 20, 2014):
A homeless dude gets some drugs dropped in his guitar case
while playing on the street that makes him super-strong!! But it
wears off quickly and he just self destructs!! Seems there's a new
dealer in town! Also, Mooney's group wants to get revenge on Falcone!!
And Oswald's in the middle of the whole mess!! A
EPISODE # 6: SPIRIT OF THE GOAT(Oct. 27, 2014):
A flashback to a dude called the Spirit of the Goat!! Dix and Harvey
Bullock were on the case, and now he appears to be back!!
Gordon's being framed for the murder of Oswald Cobblepot!! And one
of the dudes working for the police is Edward Nygma!! Who we all know
eventually becomes the Riddler!! A
EPISODE # 7: PENGUIN'S UMBRELLA(Nov. 3, 2014):
Now that it's known that Cobblepot is still alive, there's a bounty
out on Gordon!! And it's not looking good for him!! A
EPISODE # 8: THE MASK(Nov. 10, 2014):
This starts out with a strange attack!! Then goes into the fact that
everyone is still out after Gordon! And Alfred insists that Bruce go
to a private school!! He has some difficulties there! You can see
in these last few, and the following episodes, the beginnings of
just how Penguin rose to power!! A
EPISODE # 9: HARVEY DENT(Nov. 17, 2014):
Harvey Dent shows up for the first time!! At this point the lore is
intact, as he plays a straight laced cop that's out to bring down the
crime lords of Gotham! Salina Kyle shows up at Wayne manner for
protection, as she says that she witnessed the murder of Bruce's
parents!! And Fish Mooney has concocted a plan to to wipe out
Falcone with the aid of Renee Montoya and a dude that her group
(Russians) breaks out of jail! He's a demolition expert!!
The ending of this is actually pretty funny!! A
EPISODE # 10: LOVECRAFT(Nov. 24, 2014):
It was only a matter of time that Wayne manner would be the target
of those who want to see Selina dead!! And this is the episode!! Several
thugs break in and Salina and Bruce get away, but Alfred gets shot!! To
track down where they've gone, Alfred and Harvey go to Fish to try and
get help!! And Bruce has a run in with Ivy(Poison, perhaps)!! Head rolls
on this one!! There's a very sweet moment toward the end!! A
EPISODE # 11: ROGUES' GALLERY(Jan. 5, 2015):
Jim Gordon is having a lot of fun at Arkham!! Ok, maybe not!! Anyway,
it's apparent that there's corruption even in the Asylum!! Meanwhile,
Salina is having fun on the streets, and Ivy is very sick!! Salina takes her
to an abandoned place to let her get some rest and get warm!!
There's some REALLY good music in this!!! A
EPISODE # 12: WHAT THE LITTLE BIRD TOLD HIM(Jan. 19, 2015):
Fish kidnaps Liza, the two dudes who broke out of Arkham are on a
rampage, and The Penguin is in a lot of trouble!! A+
EPISODE # 13: WELCOME BACK, JIM GORDON(Jan. 26, 2015)
A drug dealer is found dead hanging from a laundry hanger!!
There's a witness, and he's taken back to police headquarters
for questioning!! He's promptly killed!! Gordon's determined
to find the killer! Meanwhile, back with Bruce, he's circling the
block trying to find Salina!! Oh, and Fish's men are determined
to rescue her from Falcone!! And Fish is determined to kill The
Penguin!! And one more thing, the drugs are now being run by
the cops!! Oh, did I forget to mention Nygma's blossoming love
for the records girl, and how it just continues to cause him
embarrassment!?! The ending here shows just where Bullock's
loyalties lie!! A
EPISODE # 14: THE FEARSOME DR. CRANE(Feb. 2, 2015):
With Fish having escaped, this puts Penguin in a very bad position!!
Maroni takes him out to the country to, well, test him and he fails
miserably!! Meanwhile, Nygma gets suspended, and we all know
that's not a good thing!! And Harvey and Gordon go after a dude
who seems to have a thing for people who have phobias, taking
them out of their misery by killing them!! A
EPISODE # 15: THE SCARECROW(Feb. 9, 2015):
The weirdo from the previous episode is back again, and still having
a lot of fun!! Meanwhile, Fish is held captive by some pirates who hijacked
the boat she was on!! And Gordon is having a new fling with the good Dr.
Thompkins!! And she's the new M.E. at the office!! And Bruce is going
on a hike that he use to go on with his father!! Turns out to be a very
fateful endeavor!!
And of course from the title you can surmise that this is the beginning
of the character The Scarecrow!! A
EPISODE # 16: THE BLIND FORTUNE TELLER(Feb. 16, 2015):
Jim Gordon and his new squeeze go to the circus!! Great fun til
someone attacks the place!! (An aside here, this circus just happens
to feature The Flying Graysons! But no Dick!!!)!!! So anyway, Lyla, the
snake charmer is found dead! And of course the whole circus is full
of suspects, including all of the Graysons, who are shown here
as real scumbags!!! It appears that the killing had to do with a feud
between two factions of the Circus, the Graysons and the Lloyds!!
And of course we keep getting flashes of what's happening at the
prison compound that Fish is in!! And in other news, Bruce is wanting
to have a meeting with the board of trusties about their involvement
with the crime lords of the city and Arkham!! A
EPISODE # 17: RED HOOD(Feb. 23, 2015):
A bank robbery by a bunch of dudes wearing masks, with one wearing
a red hood!! He seems to be more of a comedian than a thief!! Anyway,
part two of the show is about an old friend of Alfred's whose a little
down on his luck and show's up at the Wayne manor for a visit with
his old friend, and Bruce invites him to stay for a few days!! He starts
showing Bruce some other methods of fighting and Alfred is not happy
with him!! And of course they've got to have their token visit of Fish and
the rest of the despots held captive!! Oh, and The Penguin is having real
problems with his nightclub!! A
EPISODE # 18: EVERYONE HAS A COBBLEPOT(Mar. 2, 2015):
Alfred's in the hospital, Fish is one eyed, and the board is out after Bruce!!
Flass is out of jail and more powerful than before!! Bullock lied to get him
out of jail! The problem, most of the cops are all having a problem being
honest because Leob has files on them about stuff that they were made
to do that was quite illegal!!
This is a strange one!! Jim and Harvey go to a strange house with strange
people in it to find the files that Leob has the police officers, but instead
they find Leob's daughter!! She a strange one, this one!! And so they now
have leverage against him to try to get him out of their hair!! And of course
Fish is her normal sleezy self!! A
EPISODE # 19: BEASTS OF PREY(Mar. 13, 2015):
There's a serial killer(nicknamed the Ogre) on the loose, and a cop asks
Gordon to look into a cold case that's tied to it! Fish is planning an escape,
by means of getting just about everyone in the prison killed!! Bruce is out
looking for the dude that stabbed Alfred to find out who sent him!! A
EPISODE # 20: UNDER THE KNIFE(Apr. 20, 2015):
So, the serial killer from last episode is the main focus here!! And he appears
to be out after people in Gordon's life, including his ex-girlfriend!! And another
side story is about Bruce and Selina going to a charity ball put on by Wayne
Enterprises, the reason is to find the man who put Reggie up to causing
havoc on Bruce and Alfred!! Fish is trying to escape, and Penguin is planning
to try to get Maroni and his whole gang killed!! A
EPISODE # 21: THE ANVIL OR THE HAMMER(Apr. 27, 2015):
Bruce is determined to find out what's going on in his company, and
with the help of Selina get into the office of the man who hired Reggie!!
But of course nothing goes as planned and he gets busted!! This is where
he meets up with Lucius Fox!! Also, Nygma is disposing of the evidence
in his office, and Gordon is closing in on The Ogre, who is at this very moment
entertaining his ex!! And then of course, there's Penguin, and his plot!! A
EPISODE # 22: ALL HAPPY FAMILIES ARE ALIKE(May 4, 2015):
Cobblepot's plan for a gang war seems to be working!! There's a lot of
shooting going on!! And of course, Barbara Kean is insisting that she's
all better now, and wanting the good Dr. Thompkins to be her psych!!
Meanwhile, Penguin's making his plan known and the first he tells is
Falcone, and of course in walks Gordon!!! Anyway, there's some really
bad aims here!! And the stupid as always, and very poor plot line of,
Fish makes it back to Gotham, and she runs into Salina!! And they,
together, aim to break up all the gangs together!! As for Salina, she
makes a really bad career move!!
But the creepiest situation here is that of Kean and Thompkins!!
And then there's the cave!!! A

It's hard not to laugh at the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts
even the infomercial has more laughs than any episode of
the dreadful Friends or Will & Grace. Dean Martin and friends
poke fun at each other and themselves. In these videos, you
will see stars like Jackie Gleason, Johnny Carson, Dean Martin,
Muhammad Ali, Lucille Ball, Bob Hope, and so many others
who are no longer with us. It is hard to imagine the loss art
of being a celebrity. Maybe they had problems with drinking,
sex, drugs, but they still maintained a sense of dignity and
apparent happiness to their fans. These celebrities like
Bob Hope, Ali, and Carson are still with us but there are
so many who are not with us anymore. Dean Martin deserved
to be remembered as the father of the roasts. Rest in Peace,
