GOTHAM SEASON 2
From the pages of DC comics, this is the early beginnings
Batman!! It focuses on a young Bruce Wayne, Alfred,
and James Gordon! It is hard to tell what time period
this is supposed to be, as it partially looks like it could
be from the 40s, which it really should be! But the cars
and other items make it more modern! Quite well done!!
THE FIRST ELEVEN EPISODES ARE ALL UNDER THE HEADING
OF "RISE OF THE VILLAINS":
EPISODE # 1: DAMNED IF YOU DO(Sept. 21, 2015):

but someone crashes it! And Gordon is getting the snot beat out of him
over and over!! Oh, and of course Bruce and Alfred attend the affair
along with most of Gotham's elite, which becomes quite a little problem
for many!!
This episode reveals why Galavan is doing what he is doing in Gotham!!

Bruce is still being played by Galavan's "niece"!! For such a smart kid(??)
he's really dumb!!!!! Not at all what you would expect from Bruce Wayne!!
Meanwhile, back at the trial, there's a turn that no one expected!! A
EPISODE # 10: THE SON OF GOTHAM(Nov. 23, 2015):
This is weird(ok, weirder than usual) when a group of monks come into Gotham

Anyway, back to this episode, those of you who are true Batman fans already
know the story about Mr. Freeze!! His wife frozen due to an incurable illness,
him having an accident that turns his body to a refrigerator, and him taking
to crime with an ultra cold creating gun!! And that's what we have here!!

nervous!! We get to meet the infamous Dr. Hugo Strange here!!

oblivious to it all!! A

With Gordon out of prison, him and Bullock go to work trying to
find out who framed him!! Bruce is learning the ways of the street
with Selina!! Nygma is watching this all and figuring out how to keep
Gordon from getting free!! And Oswald is finding out the truth about
his "family"!! Oh, and Barbara is doing a great job of trying to prove
that she is a changed woman!! Gordon's biggest error in this one,
he goes to his "friends" for help!! A
EPISODE # 18: PINEWOOD(Apr. 18, 2016):

Hugo Strange is at it again, and this time he's re-animated Galavan
and made him believe that he's the gallant Azrael!! And speaking
of Arkham, Nygma is in the facilities, and he's planning a mass
escape!! So interesting that they have taken so many liberties
in these stories, Azrael wasn't introduced to the Batman lore until
many years after Batman became Batman!! Course, none of the
criminals in this series were, but it's still an interesting watch!! A
EPISODE # 20: UNLEASHED(May 9, 2016):

grave robbers, and Bruce goes to Selina for assistance in getting into
Arkham!! A
EPISODE # 21: A LEGION OF HORRIBLES(May 16, 2016):
Strange is very active in this, bringing back the dead en mass!! One of
the lucky ones: Fish Mooney!!!(OH GOODY)!! Anyway, Selina is trapped
in Arkham, where she was trying to save her friend who appears to be
beyond help! Of course Mooney is the only one of Strange's experiments
that came back with thier memory intact!! A
EPISODE # 22: TRANSFERENCE(May 23, 2016):
With all the good guys in Arkham, things really look bleak!! What with

From a reviewer at IMDb.com:
This show is good on so many levels. The main topic is root of friendship
between Bruce Wayne and James Gordon from the time when Bruce was
just a scared kid who just witnessed murder of parents and James was a
police detective. We see how it all started, how they become more then
just a friends. Writers are committed to comic-book roots of stories and
all comic-book fans will enjoy the show. Many origin stories are shown and
it helps to understand nature of some characters in later movies and other
shows.
I am, personally, very pleased with Sean Pertwee portrayal of Alfred
Pennyworth although some people didn't like it. Producer did very good
job showing Alfred in different light, the one that we note used to. Very
protective and not so slow and uptight like the all other, older, versions
of him. Sometimes he is even cool Englishman.
Ben McKenzie as Gordon. I can say that he is just awesome. Through
the show you can see why later in career he was considered a legend
in the force. Sometimes you can compare him with Eliot Ness when he
go alone against all. All other actors did a great job with they characters,
best of them of course Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot.
All in all, the show is great, the actors are great, younger audience will
like the show for it's action and actors and older audience will like it
for complexity of stories and comic-book origins.
Enjoy it. - Igor Morrison
